Swimwear: Rectangle Figures

Share |

Rectangle figures look great if every item of your attire is chosen correctly. You don’t seem to have lack of curves if you know how to make them appear visually.

When it comes to swimsuits you may feel that beach is not for you as you have nothing to show off.

Don’t deprive yourself of that pleasure to lie on the beach and demonstrate everyone how perfect your shape is! Just read the following information about what flatters you the most and with these tips in mind go to the store to purchase the swimsuit that will make a beauty of you!

• You can select both one-piece or two-piece suits for your figure type but what you need is detailing around the waist that will help create a more hourglass shape.

Try a wrap style top or a belted bathing suit bottom to create more waist definition.

• Look for swimsuits that have a form fitting waist and a soft cup bra. Two pieces do that perfectly and make rectangle appear a little curvier.

Halter necks are ideal for any shape and boyish figure is not an exception. Such a suit will enhance your cleavage.

• If you can find, try a one piece swimsuit with bold bright color in overall and darker color only in waistline part. This will make the waist appear smaller.

Go for solid bold colors and a plunging neckline to make the bust and butt stand out.

Frills and diagonal lines and bright, cheerful patterns give the illusion of curves. So, choose bikinis or swimsuits with ruffles.

Ruffles will work great if you have small breasts or are flat on top. A padded bikini top will also help you create the view of a bigger bust.

To create the illusion of many curves, try wearing one-piece suit with a high-on-the-thigh cut.

Bikinis are good for you. Add some illusion at the hips with rings, ruffles and bows. If you’re small on top, go for a strapless bandeau. Go for a dark, solid bottom and a wildly printed or embellished top.

Prints look best on rectangle figures. The more outrageous the print, the more flattering the suit will be. Consider polka dots, paisley, bright colors and other wild patterns.

• Another great decision is the tank style suits or tankini. These accent the mid line that draws attention to the smallest part of the body.

Avoid anything that cuts straight across your body. Boy shorts that cut straight across your waist make you look more like a boy.

• Stay away from swimsuits with low-cut legs cut right across your hips, making you look like you have no curves at all.

Avoid stripes.

Avoid solid-colored or horizontal striped one-pieces.
