But there also those which are so ordinary that you don’t even notice them. The new Mulberry Spring-Summer 2010 ad is just like that. Ordinary and boring.

Girls look sick pale, cothes are rubbish and even the color pallete is too cold. Sorry, but this time Mulberry disaponited me.

The clothes they wear look chic even on such background, imagine what they will do in a more cheerful environment?

Karl Lagerfeld did his best to show the luxury he had created for us in his collection for the upcoming season. Simple but elegant outfits come in powder colors and seem to tell us that it’s not the brightness that looks classy.

Second, the whole idea of the campaign is not the right one. It seems that Roberto Cavalli wants to sell laziness and chic boredom, something that very few of us can really afford.

And the third, the outfits are not the best from the Spring-Summer 2010 colletcion. Seems like stylists just closed their eyes and took the first few items from the pile and dressed the models…

The new campaign for Candie’s was captured by three acclaimed photographers – Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson – at Paramount Studios in Hollywood late last year. All the three took various approaches to work and the photos are absolutely different from each other in the result.

Annie Leibovitz went for a black-and-white version and created pictures with Britney looking chic and sexy. The singer was featured on a dark grey background wearing a black dress embellished richly at the cleavage.

Terry Richardson chose a plain white set for the shoot. Brightly colored pink teddy that was placed on the girl’s shoulders and funky shoes and bracelets added colors to the photos. Britney was dressed in a white lingerie ensemble that looked great on her toned-up body. (See the photo here.)

Mark Seliger placed the songbird into a Moulin-Rouge environment, all pink and girlie. She was also featured on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle dressed in jeans and a red belted top.
Ms Spears liked being a model very much. She considered a great honour to work with professional fashion photographers.

She said:

Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world. I am honoured to be working with them for my Candie’s Only at Kohl’s ads. It was an amazing shoot, and I know my fans are going to love the cool images. I’m very excited to be working with Candie’s for a second season.’

Dari Marder, chief marketing officer of Iconix Brand Group Inc., who own Candie’s said that inviting Spears to front their campaigns had been a wise idea.

Talking about the success of 2009 he said:

It’s hard to pinpoint whether the sales are from marketing or pricing but it was one of our best years.’

Britney confessed that she liked Leibovitz’s photographs best. Which pics do you think are the best?

The eyewear for Spring-Summer 2010 looks pretty and unusual, just like everything from this designer.

The ad campaign looks interesting but the fact the models are more or less dressed-up is surprising.

Nicholas Hoult is all about tuxedos, bowties and white shirts. But Carolyn Murphy is nothing about that. All she’s wearing is makeup and sunglasses. Her body is perfectly smooth and underwear lines are the only things that attract attention!

Speaking about the colletcion itself we can say that it includes twenty-four new sunglass frames that share a polished approach to luxury. The eyewear has been created for both men and women who feel brave to wear innovative forms and colors.

The day of the obvious, of-the-moment accessory, like the instantly recognizable sunglass frame or handbag, is long over. Sophisticated clients want design that is beautiful, modern, and valuable, without screaming the season or brand. The

person wearing the sunglasses should become memorable—or maybe even iconic—not the glasses themselves.” says Tom Ford.

However, Burberry Blue Label is a specified version of the original Burberry brand, but is more youghful and sassy. The Blue Label merchandise features garments that are aimed at smart young generation. Smaller sizes are available in order to appeal more directly to the Japanese market.

You can’t buy goods by the label anywhere outside of Japan. But you can get those from Japanese on-line stores. Price range is also similar to the regular Burberry London.

The campaign features plenty of models wearing chic colorful outfits made of diverse materails that provide comfort.

Simple youghful designs look beautiful. I like knitted cardigans, bright trousers and multicolored handbags. What seems pretty to you?

The campaign for Spring-Summer 2010 featuring legendary Veruschka and Peter Sellers looks interesting. The scenes of life from far 60s were taken to our times and timeless pieses are shown in context of modernity.

“The images featured in this campaign are some of my favorites from the Gucci archive,” said creative director Frida Giannini. “They perfectly illustrate not only the glamour of Gucci’s past and the many style icons who were naturally drawn to the house, but also show how this heritage can be relevant today.”

This trick has been used by a previously-unknown on US market Chinese company Me&City. The executives went the tried path and asked gorgeous model Agyness Deyn and adored-by-millions Orlando Bloom to grace a number of photos for them. And it worked! Now we all know about the label and will choose tehir creations in stores!

Talking about the photo shoot, I can say it looks very simple but at the same time interesting, because scenes of usual life are shown. Stars are featured doing the stuff we all do on the daily babsis.

As for the clothes, I can’t say I like everything. I would even say I like just few things, but it’s the pure matter of taste.
