This Spring, the call of the Sirens proves too powerful to resist. The scene is one of chaos and mayhem but above all there is vibrance, colour, beauty and dreams of naughtiness.

The Call of the Sirens, it is the step of a bright concoction of flirty 1970s styles, revamped tartan, toile de Jouy prints and some very sexual swimsuits.

Semi-naked super model Karen Elson is flame-haired and posing provocative.

She is wearing a broderie anglaise and tartan underwear set and ribbed white garters, conquers a knight who lies submissive on the floor.

The photoshoot is easil tastefully misty, with an old styles, and at the same time it is fresh and modern.

For Joe Corre, son of the designer Vivienne Westwood and co-founder of the brand with his then-wife Serena Rees, explains the decision to return to the classic format of a poster.

Men are always busy! They are busy even when they are given the special day for love – Valentine’s Day!

Agent Provocateur has recently produced the sort of a call or reminder for the strong half of mankind by the new ad campaign video “Love me tender… or else!” starring Rosie Huntington Whiteley.

The 21-year-old English model plays a girl who took revenge on her sweetheart after he’d left her alone preferring to stay at work instead of being with her.

Black stockings, suspenders and lace sexy lingerie from Agent Provocateur provoked the forgotten woman into radical measures.

Daisy Lowe for DKNY S/S 2009 ads

Daisy Lowe’s star keeps on rising. Having modelling for a few years now, and strutted her stuff at a number of shows at London Fashion Week Show, she’s now turned to advertising.

Last year we saw her sizzling for Agent Provocateur, and now she stars the ad campaign for DKNY.

Daisy poses in the middle of a New York street wearing a mini playsuit in stonewash denim, classic aviator shades and white lace up boots. In the background there are yellow cabs and ‘Don’t Walk’ signs that even make the pic more impressive and at the same time so much casual!

It is no wonder the shoot is so successful: Daisy was snapped by Scott Schuman, who is better known as The Sartorialist.

Shuman has perfectly made plenty of photos depicting everyday life, where he literally snaps passers-by with beautiful results.

Joining Daisy in the campaign is a mix of models, artists and musicians including Chanel Iman, Kelly Osbourne, Sean Lennon and fiancé Luc Worrell.

Patti Cohen, executive vice president of marketing and communications for Donna Karan International, said the campaign reflects everything that Karan thinks about when she thinks of denim.

“Donna always says that jeans are not about a season, but rather part of your skin, something you can’t live without,” Cohen said. “So we wanted to make a personal statement about jeans and fashion and Scott seemed so perfect to shoot this. He brings such a freshness to street style.”

Daisy is obviously on her way to super stardom, this is her third big campaign this Spring following her Pringle and Marc Jacobs shoots. She’s believed to be competing for Agyness Deyn’s title as hottest Brit It-model soon. Good job, girl!

New ‘Virgins’ line by Agent Provocateur

Agent Provocateur presents new line of sexy lingerie named ‘Virgins’ featuring beautiful models: Pixie Geldof, Portia Freeman, Chloe Hayward, Sophia P.

The main face of ads is Pixie Geldof. She follows in the steps of her sister Peaches Geldof who was photographed in the other Agent Provocateur ad.

Pixie Geldof, who recently turned 18, took time out from her A Level studies to pose in a lacy white corset, pearls and the perspex stilettos.

She was dressed as a ‘virgin – rosebud of lip and sweet to taste’ by the underwear company for its spring/summer 2009 line.

In other pictures she poses in black garters and knickers and in a white riding waistcoat.

Daisy Lowe new face of Marc Jacobs

Popular American designer Marc Jacobs has cast his Collection and Marc by Marc Jacobs campaigns.

All are very interested in the designer’s new Marc by Marc Jacobs face for Spring/Summer 2009, “trendy girl about town” British model Daisy Lowe.

I think she looks adorable,” Jacobs told WWD.

Now, Lowe is not your typical stick-thin model, but is known for her curves”.

Lowe is just 19 years old. She has shot for many of editing spreads for fashion magazines like Italian Vogue and i-D, but her advertising work is more limited.

She’s posed for ads for lingerie compaigns Chanel, Burberry, Ben Sherman and Whistles, Converse, Agent Provocateur and French Connection, but never a high-fashion designer like Jacobs.

She told:

Modeling is a cool outlet for me to express myself, and fashion has always fascinated me. I love that fashion crosses into my other passions – music and art.”

We hope that work with one of the industry’s most significant fashion designers will make her even more popular than she is now.

Victoria Beckham is out at Jacobs, but she is the new face of Emporio Armani lingerie line.

We realize she’s not actually curvy and is likely thinner than us “normal” ladies. But she’s also not starving, so in fashion land, that’s curvy.

Raquel Zimmermann will star in Jacobs’s women’s Collection campaign for spring 2009, and pretty-boy Ryan McGinley will star in the men’s Collection campaign.

Agent Provocateur’s new lingerie campaign

Every Agent Provocateur ad campaign imminently stirs up an instant reaction from the press.

The Danish supermodel Helena Christensen plays a pirate queen in the new released ad video.

Suitably named ‘Pirate Provocateur’, the video is made by Tim Bret Day and also features Alice Dellal, the fashion insurgent and daughter of former Brazilian model Andrea Dellal and property tycoon, Guy Dellal.

The video is inspired by Hogarth’s ‘A Rake’s Progress and ‘Strolling actresses in a Barn’.

The act takes place in the depths of a galleon with much drunken and libertined revel, featuring a posse of pirate-princesses in frail pieces of lace, toting angers.

Pirate Queen Helena comes in a red lace basque, brandishing a dagger, and succeeds in seducing the captain of the ship who is unaware he is being robbed blind and facing a mutiny.

All that is missing is Jack Sparrow. But what a rampageous way to sell lingerie collection!
