Let’s ponder over what to choose first!

The trenches and coats from Yves Saint Laurent are a tender femininity. Black elegance decored with ornament or belt as an obligatory accessory stressing the thing waist. It’s always trendy!

Akris’s coats are classic for all seasons. Silhouette simplicity impresses with austere style. Minimum details. Gucci offers us the sort of youth collection full of short trenches in beige, white, khaki, grey palette. Lots of trendy details like sliders, fasteners, buckles and clasps.

Paul Smith created the thrilling image of an enigmatic woman using the silk, mousseline, pleats and flounces.

Vivienne Westwood’s structural rain coat is in Vivienne’s vision. It’s complicated, strange and sexy! Appropriate for the red carpet and office day as well.

Chloe take us back to childhood with the flower prints and soft fabrics: flannel, cotton – fingering for the romantic and sentimental girls. MaxMara developed the collection of one-color & colorful ensembles with plain straight lines and knees-up-length.

But in my opinion glam trend leaders this season are D&G, Oscar de la Renta and Versace. They combined greatly the sense of modesty, complexity, elegance and new fashion waves.

Short trench from Emanuel Ungaro impresses much or in other words nothing-excessive. Calvin Klein presents the line of light colors and structural lines for Spring 2009, so does Ralph Lauren.

Gianfranco Ferre offers us the pleasing elegant trapezium coat in a grey palette that is for everyday and special events! “Flowing” coats and rain-coats are tremendously trendy Spring 2009 season. Giorgio Armani’s silhouette is exactly a flowing one. Pastel shades of his Spring line suits look great at the warm sunny day! Nina Ricci is the adapter for extraordinary trenches for extravagant ladies. The half-trench is half-dress looks terrific with orange and complicated light pink and grey hues.

So, it’s you to choose!

It’s one of the main fashion trends for Winter 2008-2009.

Despite all those hot discussions and protests against fur, designers include it in almost every winter collection. Personally I feel really merciful to those animals that are killed so that our fashion tastes were satisfied, but I cannot resist admitting that fur looks magnificent on every item, from fur coats to those tiny accessories we are fond of so much.

Today we’ll talk about fur detailing and accessories rather than fur coats. You may ask me why I pay so much attention to the décor and I will say that it’s not me but couturiers who prefer fur trimming and accessories to whole fur pieces.

To start with, I must say that a lot of various textures are used in winter lines for this winter, for instance: mink, fox fur, pony fur, sheepskin and many others.

Patterns: stripes

Stripes have been widely introduced in designer collections this season. They can be vertical or horizontal, to add some contrast various tints and textures are used. The design is certainly very interesting, besides, it has an optical effect. Do you remember that vertical lines as well as thin horizontal make you look leaner?

Colors: bright

Some designers are prejudiced against dyed furs telling good fur looks wonderful by itself and there is no need to change its color.

Yes, natural fur is perfect, but we do understand that to create the most unexpected and interesting design colors are vital. Rich color palette is necessary to make fur look modern, bold and unconventional.

Wild prints: outstanding

Wild prints are extremely fashionable this season and they help you be noticeable.

You may need just a little accessory to create a wild look.

Fur details: chic

Collars, sleeves, cuffs, pelerines and many other details look chic on every clothing piece. The greatest effect is achieved when the tone is single but the texture is different, or contrasted colors are applied.

Clothing items: skirt

Some people think that fur skirt is perfect just for catwalks and is ridiculous in everyday life. However, it is not true at all as a fur skirt is a highly practical and fashionable item. It is indispensable in winter and autumn for walking in the open air. And the extravagance of the idea and texture will attract plenty of attention to you. It’s worth mentioning though that it’s quite inappropriate for sitting.

Scarf: luxurious accessory

Scarf is a winter accessory that takes various textures and shapes every season. Fur scarves are perfect, warm and very uncommon. They can be super short or extremely long, very thin or exceptionally voluminous.

Bag: splendor by itself

Bag is an accessory that speaks volumes about its owner. I think every girl dreams about a really fabulous fur bag that complements any attire and makes you look gorgeous!

After seeing all those terrific garments I think you will agree that fur is more than great! But it’s up to you to decide whether you will really purchase something of that and please yourself with a chic reflection in your mirror or refuse it under the influence of green peace photos and arguments, this way you’ll be left with just a contemplation of models rocking the fur on the runways!
