After the world-famous Alexa bag named after Alexa Chung Mulberry hasn’t launched a bag named after somebody real. Until yesterday. The label has announced they have an Evelina bag now, named after a Ukrainian model Evelina Mambetova, who walked their Fall/ Winter 2010 fashion show.

Mulberry creative director Emma Hill said in a statement:

We named her after the Ukrainian model Evelina Mambetova, who walked in our autumn/winter 2010 show in New York so fabulously!”

The bag is said to be a great addition to Mulberry collection. Emma Hill commented:

She (Evelina bag) is definitely a welcome addition to our long line of well crafted, heirloom bags. She’s edgy and totally of the season, yet at the same time carries all that is traditionally Mulberry. We love how she manages to be both clean and minimal, but super sexy at the same time. Her multi-way wear options and slouchy leather make her one of our favorites for Spring/summer 2012.”

Emma Hill also expressed her personal attitude to Evelina bag:

The Evelina Hobo in Camel Leopard Haircalf is my absolute favourite. I literally am counting down the days until get mine from the factory! The neutral colour goes with everything, from denim to evening wear; the leopard print is so totally Mulberry, we love our prints; the finish is so effortlessly, easily, glossily Mulberry; the hardware is like delicious ergonomic jewellery and the shape will hold everything and more! I will need to take mine from the school run to the studio to the evening – what more could a girl possibly wish for?”

Inside the UK Harper’s Bazaar October 2011 edition Alexa Chung poses in her very own, typical way – a bit shy, a bit awkward but generally rather attractive. My favorite photograph is the one with the TV presenter wearing a flaming red dress.

Images from Harper’s Bazaar Australia October 2011 issue haven’t been released yet but we already have the cover. It is much brighter and sexier that the UK one but it lacks romanticism of the British cover. Still, Alexa Chung looks great on it.

If before only vintage-clothing-lovers like Alexa Chung and Carey Mulligan wore peter pan collars, now everyone from Hailee Steinfeld to Michelle Williams are spotted wearing the trendy piece, and not just on the daily basis but also to glam events and photo shoots for glossy magazines.

Peter pan collars are widely presented in Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collections by Giambattista Vally, DKNY, Louis Vuitton and other brands and designers. Besides, they come in a great variety, from prim collars to oversized and even detachable.

Peter pan collars can look simple and make outfits cute and feminine, or be glamorous if they come embellished with sequins, beads or stones.

Although Alexa Chung looks beautiful on the cover of Vogue UK 2011 issue wearing a flowery Erdem dress the combination of blue and pink colors that make the background fails to impress. Could be done much better.

A few images from the editorial revealed so far show us Alexa Chung as she is. She doesn’t know where to put her hands and apparently looks a bit lost and confused. After spending so much time in front of cameras she could at least learn how to look confident. I still wonder why nobody helped her to look more glamorous.

Kate Bosworth was all-dressed up in Burberry pieces: pencil skirt pavéd with spikes and studs, leather biker jacket and a pair of matching ankle boots.

She commented on her outfit:

Everybody is asking me if it hurts to sit down with the studs, but it doesn’t at all, it’s just very heavy.”

Alexa Chung proudly showcased her neon blue bag from Burberry Brights handbag collection. Rachel Bilson chose to wear a pair of high-heeled Burberry boots from Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 range.

Chloe Green and her famous father and Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green also attended the Burberry Prorsum Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 fashion show. The girl said she worked on her first women’s wear collection that was planned to launch in November.

She said:

I haven’t named it yet. Hmmm. Maybe I should call it Project One?”

People who hadn’t been invited to the show could watch it live at Burberry stores across the globe as well as on Piccadilly’s main screen.

Emma Roberts appeared at British Fashion Awards 2010 in a sparkling girlie Julien Macdonald dress that looked great on her. She teamed up her frock with black tights and ankle boots.

Victoria Beckham, who was nominated for Designer Brand of the Year, opted for one of her own designs to grace on the red carpet. She looked elegant and sophisticated.

One more look attracted my attention. Kimberly Walsh strutted the red carpet of British Fashion Awards 2010 in a cute strapless dress that she paired with nude-colored pumps and a clutch.

Taylor Swift, who is usually very feminine and elegant is just on the 8th place while Rihanna is only the 40th on this list. Kristen Stewart has one of the most horrible styles I have ever seen and she is the 7th while Selena Gomez who is such a glamorous girl is on the 28 position.
