The photos of Anja Rubik for Fendi Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 ad campaign shows us how the collection looks in real life. Many outfits are very stylish. The fur coats are the best, impressive. Shoes look a little weird with those bright yellow heels but generally they are ok. What I like the most is the clothing for kids – very cute and comfortable.

The model commented:

I’m really excited because Peter Dundas from Pucci is doing my dress. I saw a few of his sketches already. And I work with [Giuseppe] Zanotti a lot, so they’re sending me a lot of shoes to pick from!”

Anja Rubik isn’t the only model to tie the knot soon. Lily Aldridge from Victoria’s Secret is also getting ready to become a married woman. During the presentation of Victoria’s Secret Sexy Little Bride lingerie collection the model revealed:

My wedding is very traditional. I didn’t think at first I wanted that. But now that it’s getting closer, traditions are kind of once. There’s going to be really good music, wine, and good food . . . It’s going to be very small and private. I feel like a little girl; I’m so excited.”

However, the girl doesn’t want everyone to know who the designer of her gown is:

The dress is the big fantasy, and I’m very lucky because someone is making my dress. It’s so gorgeous and I’m so excited to wear it. I recently got my shoes and I was jumping up and down when I put them on.”

Posing for a black-and-white Quazi campaign the Polish model Anja Rubik looks simple but chic at the same time. Loose outfits, super-short shorts, tempting black lingerie ensembles are perfect for demonstrating the beauty of accessories.

Dresses with fur trimming and leather details look great as does chunky jewelry. The shoes are totally gorgeous and bags are pretty.

What I dislike about Lanvin Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 campaign is the dramatic makeup the girls wear. The faces look really strange as if the models were not human.

The supermodel is wearing signature blue stripes and cute swimsuits. But what really looks attractive to me is the dark blue handbag with a chain handle!

Held in Saint Tropez town Chanel show was groundbreaking. First, because it included over 80 looks both male and female. And second, because it featured plus-size model Crystal Renn that was a precedent fashion house never even admitted to happen.

Modeling expert and ANTM judge André Leon Talley on Chanel’s resort show said:

[Karl] Lagerfeld had cast the show with a slightly more curvaceous model named Crystal Renn, not seen on any Chanel catwalk before. This in itself was groundbreaking for the house, but there was also the return of personality models encouraged to be themselves instead of robotic look-alikes.”

What caused all these new things we don’t know, but the show was fantastic. Natasha Poly, Anja Rubik, Karolina Kurkova, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Freja Beha Erichsen, Georgia May Jagger and other world-famous beauties strutted down the runway barefooted and wearing really chic seventies-inspired diaphanous caftans, long crocheted dresses, ruffle-lapelled silk jersey trouser suits, and patchwork denim skirts. Many of the outfits left girls’ midriffs exposed while some were almost tarsparent and swimwear beneath looked very sexy.

The place for the show was chosen by Karl Lagerfeld.

He said:

I spent many years of my life here. I know Saint-Tropez like I know Paris. The collection is very casual, very down-to-earth.”

The photo shoot is very creative and interesting. Apart from being horrifying it looks glamorous as python is featured together with snake-inspired Lanvin jewelry.

The photo shoot named Charmeuse de Serpent (Snake Charmer) is exotic and chic and it is fashionable as well. The model wears items from Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Versace, Givenchy, Dolce&Gabbana, Hermes, etc.
