The most impressive magazine cover for me was the Rolling Stone one with John Lennon and Yoko Ono. The couple were to appear nude on the first page but at the last minute Yoko Ono felt uncomfortable and refused to take her clothes off. Photographer Annie Leibovitz allowed the woman to keep her garments on and took the photo. What is notable, the same night, on Dec. 8, 1980, John Lennon was killed by a fan in front of his Manhattan apartment.

Continuing the theme of nudity I offer you to see the next amazing cover, it is very modern and features True Blood actors Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer naked on Rolling Stone September 2010 issue. The three looked absolutely disgusting with streams of blood on their bodies.

The next shocking cover asked ‘Is God Dead?’. It was Time magazine, edition of 1966, which was dedicated to the book, entitled The Death of God, by Gabriel Vahanian. It was the first time the magazine used only words with no photo on the cover page.

After the terroristic act on Sept. 11, 2001 many newspapers and magazines discussed the event but The New Yorker went a bit further than others. They published the total black cover with only contours of two towers that resembled the destroyed World trade center.

Lady Gaga is the singer that attracts attention by both her songs and extravagant outfits. Each time when we think her mad fashion ideas are over she astonishes us again. Her recent daring venture was the dress made of raw meat she wore to get photographed for the cover of Vogue Japan.

Playboy covers aren’t normally very different from each other. However, there is one huge exception – the November 2010 issue featuring Marge Simpson sitting on a bunny chair. The idea is interesting and funny!

The last, the seventh cover, isn’t really shocking but it’s the one you will hardly forget. After death of the fashion genius Alexander McQueen there were lots of publications about him. But it was The New Yorker March 2010 edition cover that made me cry. The girl with butterflies. Why butterflies? Because in 2008 Alexander created a collection inspired by butterflies – symbols of fragile and ephemeral beauty.

The Vampire Diaries beauty Nina Dobrev looked brilliant in a single-shoulder blush, floral silk gown from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2010 couture collection.

Julie Bowen chose a strapless, asymmetrical navy blue gown for the ceremony.
Amy Poehler, the Blades of Glory actress, looked pretty at 2010 Emmy Awards in her sky blue frock.

Tina Fey shone in a black silk organza embroidered gown by Oscar de la Renta. To finish off her look Tina opted for Guiseppe Zanotti shoes, VBH bag, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Heidi Klum was accompanied by her husband Seal. The Project Runway hostess dazzled in a short black Marchesa dress.

Dianna Agron’s dress was queen-like. The Glee cutie looked fabulous in Carolina Herrera design.

January Jones decided to brighten up the event and wore a blue Armani peacock dress on the red carpet.

The Modern Family actress, Sofia Vergara went for a golden Carolina Herrera dress.

Anna Paquin was happy walking on the red carpet with her husband Stephen Moyer. The True Blood hottie looked ideal in Alexander McQueen creation.

Kate Gosselin looked lovely in her Carmen Marc Valvo dress, Valentino shoes and Martin Katz/Everlon jewelry.

Slim and glamorous Kelly Osbourne arrived at the 2010 Emmy Awards in a luxurious black dress.

The MTV reality babe Stephanie Pratt looked cute and sexy in a grey mini dress with a lace detail at the neck.

Lauren Bosworth’s fashion choice for 2010 Emmy Awards was simple but fantastic.

Let’s start from Kelly Brook because her dress was the brighest. The model appeared at Comic Con in a revealing neon orange frock that singled her out from the crowd.

Next comes Vanessa Hudgens in a sexy strapless black dress with cutouts. The star opted for a pair of golden-black sandals to match her outfit.

Anna Paquin looked elegant and pretty in a simple figure-hugging dress.

Eva Mendes chose a glitzy strapless dress to attend Comic Con. Although the attire looked great the makeup was really disappointing.

Anna Kendrick seems to be the shyest person in Hollywood. The Up in the Air actress looked a bit out of place at Comic Con 2010 but I liked her garments a lot. She wore a simple grey dress with sheer detail in front, a classy leather jacket and black opaque tights.

Red on the red carpet doesn’t look bad. Mariah Carey just proves that with her red assymetrical gown. Her earrings are spectacular!

Christina Hendricks was red hot wearing a magical red one-shoulder dress with golden earrings and bracelets.

Carey Mulligan rocked a sumptuous red frock with a beautiful flower brooch on the waist.

Blue color was especially popular that day. Lots of beautiful women chose blue dresses to sparkle on the red carpet. Tina Fey was one of those and she looked very charminig! Her dress was Ferragamo’s creation and looked perfect.

Gabourey Sidibe opted for a blue gown too. The girl looked happy being at the event. Speaking about her style I can’t say what I really think of it because all I can concentrate looking on her is her body… Sorry for that.

Jenna Fisher looked glamorous wearing a navy blue bustier dress. A glitzy clutch was perfect to match the attire.

Very feminine-looking was Christina Applegate who went for an airy Roberto Cavalli gown, a sparkling clutch and fabulous jewelry.

Vera Farmiga’s sky-blue dress looked great on the actress flattering her complexion wonderfully.

Samantha Harris went for a look of Grecian goddess in blue. The dress was nice but accessories were chosen wrongly.

The blue dress by Monique Lhuillier that Drew Barrymore sported to the Awards was a real disappointment for me. The second skirt ruined evrything by breaking the girl’s silhuette unflatteringly.

Julianna Margulies looked stunning in a floor length blue velvet Narciso Rodriguez halter dress.

Anna Paquin amazed everyone when she arrived to the event wearing a dress from (You wouldn’t believe it!!!) Alexander McQueen Spring-Summer 2010 futuristic sea-inspired collection. She looked glorious and was obviously the trendiest girl of the evening! By the way, she wore normal shoes, not those monster ones the designer created to go with dress.

Anna Kendrick looked super-pretty donning a purple floor-sweeping dress by Alberta Ferretti. I loved her bracelet!

Meryl Streep was gorgeous in her green-white-black gown. She was a perfect example of a woman who knows what heradvantages are!

Sandra Bullock looked nice in her black gown from Alexander McQueen. Those vivid blue neck details made her look very fresh and young.

Kate Hudson again opted for white. This time it was a strapless gown with a waist detail. Looked good!

The dress I really loved was Nicole Kidman’s one from Oscar de la Renta. The gown was a combination of bronze, red, and teal. And it was sequin embroidered.

Penelope Cruz wore a simple black dress that complemented her figure a lot.

Diane Kruger selected a yellow-toned dress with a long train and looked perfect in it. And what is more important is that was a real stand-out of blue-red-black group of ladies.

She said:

And it’s not only dress option that was so time-consuming. The 27-year-old actress also had had a battle selecting her accessories, before she decided on vintage Stephen Russell jewellery and a handbag designed by British designer Alexander McQueen.

I wonder whether all stars are so insecure with what to wear to glamorous events.

This year the Award took place on October, 17 at the Greek Theatre, and was one of the most attended shows of the year, not only by crazy fans but stars as well.

I wasn’t surprised to know that four films including Transformers, Twilight, True Blood and Star Trek took lots of trophies. And their role actors were nominated too. However, this isn’t what we are going to talk about. We are interested in outfits and of course I have something to tell you about those.

Number one person in our list will be Megan Fox. The Transformers star looked absolutely stunning in a red slinky dress by Martin Grant and black shoes. Despite the fact she was voted best sci-fi actress I think she has no talent in acting. But what she is really good at is dressing!

The next comes Anna Paquin and her plum-hued Marc Jacobs dress. The actress looked fabulous. By the way, the dress looked very similar to the one nne Hathaway wore in May 2009 for The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion Costume Institute Gala.

Eliza Dushku goes number three with her simple but gorgeous clinging dress and black pumps. And her makeup is great too!

Rhona Mitra wore a floor-sweeping black strapless gown that looked perfect on her svelte figure. The actress wore no accessories except a pretty bracelet on her left wrist.

The fifth position is shared by Christina Ricci and Kate Bosworth. Christina sported an elegant black dress with intriguing cutouts in her decollette zone. And Kate chose a light-green layered dress that flattered her a lot.

Victoria Justice, who accompanied her good pal Josh Hutcherson to the event, looked beautiful in a tight-fitting LBD and a classy dark-purple jacket. She accessorised her look with black suede ankle shoes and a metallic clutch.

A body-hugging black mini was chosen by actress Nina Dovrev for her appearance at the event. The girl looked elegant and chic.

Izabele Lucas looked nice in her black-and-gold mini-dress. She paired it with golden shoes and a black clutch.

Julie Benz occupies the ninth position in my list with her couture dress and a pair of Guiseppe Zanotti shoes.

And the last, and that means the least attractive, stars were Jessica Alba and Liv Tyler. Jessica opted for a multicolored shapeless jersey frock and leggings while Liv went for a formal look and wore a black jacket, leggings and shoe boots.

I don’t look like a Barbie doll, and probably never will.  People are incredibly literal in how they view you.  You have dark hair and pale skin?  You must be brooding.  The second you dye your hair blonde and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you’re a bit stupider and happier.  Suddenly, it’s like you’re hot and sexy.”

This is what Anna Paquin told Self magazine:

After I was cast and I realized my body would be exposed all the time, I went out and bought some shorts – I owned none – to help me get used to it.’

You stop thinking, Do I look weird at this angle? I’ve learned to feel comfortable wearing very little. It’s liberating!’

Anna says she has to work hard to maintain her flawless figure.

She said:

I’m very careful about what I eat, and I work out a lot. My costume entails bathing suits, short shorts and nude scenes. ‘I don’t want to be perpetuating the myth that women actually do look exactly like the way they look in magazines and on television through absolutely no effort!’
