You must know majority of celebrity shopaholics I’m going to talk about but you might not be aware of the extent their shopping obsession has developed to.

#1 Celebrity Shopaholic on my list is Katie Holmes, woman whose shopping sprees are discussed almost daily. What is interesting is that she doesn’t spend that much on herself. She buys clothing, shoes and accessories for her little daughter Suri, who is just 4 years old. The wardrobe of this girl is already estimated $3 million but her mother isn’t going to stop.

#2 Celebrity Shopaholic – Britney Spears. The singer says shopping helps her get rid of depression. She simply enters the shop and buys everything she likes, for example seven pairs of Gucci shoes. Her favorite fashion brands are Bebe, Armani Exchange, and Rampage. From time to time she raids The Gap for cheaper items. But no matter where she shops she enjoys the process!

She once said:

I can be in the dump of dumpsters and go buy a pair of new shoes, and then it’s okay. Even if it’s just for the time being, for that moment it’s what I need.”

#3 Celebrity Shopaholic is Victoria Beckham. Of course I couldn’t miss the woman who spends around $150,000 a year on her wardrobe. Despite the fact she is a successful designer herself now Victoria still buys lots of pieces that were created by other couturiers. And these aren’t only clothes, but also numerous bags (including over 30 Birkin bags!!!), sky-high heels, hats and jewelry.

Victoria says about her obsession:

I can’t help it. When I see something I like, I buy it in every color and I buy shoes in every color to match, as well as handbags. If I could, I’d go shopping every single day. I’m definitely a shopaholic.”

#4 Celebrity Shopaholic – Paris Hilton. This girl has told the public a few times that she never wears the same clothing twice. So, just imagine how many pieces she needs to always wear new things. The socialite is rumored to spend an average of 25-30 hours a week buying clothes and accessories.

#5 Celebrity Shopaholic is Cameron Diaz who buys things, drives those home and then doesn’t open the bags for weeks. Some of the garments she purchases she never wears. She just likes the process. But Cameron feels it right to add new items to her wardrobe again and again. She says:

Frequent shopping sprees is the way to keep stocked. A woman can never have enough.”

#6 Celebrity Shopaholic – Celine Dion who always drives her rolls-royce to shops because it has a roomy boot. Her secret (now it’s not a secret anymore!!!) obsession is shoes. Her collection includes 3000 pairs that means in theory she can change her footwear 8 times a day!!!

#7 Celebrity Shopaholic is infamous Lindsay Lohan. This girl has problems not only with drugs, alcohol and driving but also with shopping. She definitely loves it more than lots of other things in life. She once spent $20,000 in 20 minutes.

#8 Celebrity Shopaholic - Jennifer Lopez. The star admits she can’t stop when it comes to buying shoes and clothes.

She said:

I’m a little bit of a shopaholic. I don’t have to call the hotline or anything, but I definitely enjoy it. My biggest extravagance is probably shoes and clothes. I’m over the top with it but I love shopping for clothes, (and) trying on different outfits.”

Sometimes the diva doesn’t buy anything but keeps on trying on new and new outfits. She explains her behavior:

If you’re a woman and you have a few curves it’s a great feeling to put on a dress that makes you feel attractive.”

#9 Celebrity Shopaholic is Sarah Jessica Parker. Probably it was her Sex and the City character Carry Bradshaw that somehow influenced the actress but most likely shopaholic disease has always been in her. Sarah claims she tries to be careful with her money, however, she does have a weak point – shoes. The star dates her shoe obsession to her childhood when her mother couldn’t afford buying Sarah more than two pairs of shoes a year. Now she has about 100 pairs of shoes that range in price from $300 to $1,000.

She said:

I have far too many shoes – I mean really, really, really too many shoes. I’ve been wearing Manolo Blahniks for 16, 17 years. I’m not proud of my habit, but it’s what I do with my disposable income. I can run a marathon, I can jump puddles, I can do anything in heels – the higher, the better.”

#10 Celebrity Shopaholic – Gwen Stefani. Gwen is not a shopaholic in a typical sense of this word. She doesn’t spend millions on clothing. Instead, she shops in second-hand stores and buys things she can alter for herself.

She explained:

I always loved shopping and making up my own outfits. When I was young and my mom said ‘”let’s go to the mall” I always said “Can’t I just have a hundred dollars and go to the thrift store?” You get really cool stuff. I would buy the clothes and then alter everything because we had a sewing machine. My bedroom was always the room you didn’t go into unless you wanted to get pins stuck in your foot. I was always doing projects and making my own clothes.”

But sometimes Gwen Stefani acts like a normal shopaholic and buys designer stuff. She especially likes Vivienne Westwood’s designs:

When I’m in London I act the way people think I am supposed to act as a star. I splurge on Vivienne Westwood’s clothes and come home with bags full of her stuff. I’ll buy whatever I can because I love her clothes and they fit me really well.”

This list can go on and on but I think it will be wise to stop here and say that you shouldn’t admire passion for shopping because unless you a star with huge annual income you can hardly afford lots of things you’d like to buy. Think reasonably before you pay your money for just another skirt or a pair of shoes. Maybe tomorrow you’ll have to live on coffee.

At the party for Armani Exchange, Miss Panettiere said she would like to make some fashion projects in the future.

Earlier she hasalready  had fashion experience with popular designer brands.

She designed a line of hanbags for Dooney & Bourk with lion detailing and she was a face of famous ad campaigns for different fashion houses.

THe young actress has all chances to create popular clothing or accessories range. She always looks stylish and I hope she will make an interesting and available line for everyone.
