Karlie Kloss models her own jeans for Frame

Karlie Kloss is another model who designed her own fashion collection. Her designer debut is a range of denims for tall women that is to launch in June with a very young denim label Frame founded in 2012 by Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson who wanted to combine LA manufacturing with London style in a pair of jeans.

The new model-brand collaboration resulted from Karlie’s necessity for long denims rather than a desire to make a name brand. The model explains:

I’m freakishly tall, so finding pants that fit is something I’ve struggled with my whole life. My secret to pulling off too-short jeans has always been to pair them with boots and I really rocked the flood-pant trend for as long as I could! It wasn’t until I started modelling at fifteen that I even realized what well-fitting clothes felt like.

Kloss says that she is not a qualified designer and that making this collection simply gave her a better understanding of the fit.

The collection includes skinny and flared jeans with 40 inch inseams and are specifically designed for tall women who struggle to find denims that fit. The new jeans also feature a high waistband, which makes for a totally new cut:

Nobody has ever done this before. It’s not just a case of making jeans longer; the entire proportion changes and denim factories had never cut that way before,

says Frame co-founder, Jens Crede.

Frame’s denims are already popular among celebrity and model folk including Cara Delevingne, Jessica Pare and Ashley Greene. The brand’s styles are cool and relaxed – casual skinny jeans in various washes and colors. Kloss’ flared jeans widen from the knee while the skinny version features a few rips.

We’re just friends who got together and did this for fun. I’m convinced there are other tall women out there who can’t find jeans that fit, but if nothing else, we’ve made the perfect ones for Karlie. She’s set for life!

Karlie Kloss’ Frame denims will be available from June at Barneys New York, Net-A-Porter, and other stockists at $219 for Forever Karlie Flare and $209 for Forever Karlie Skinny.

Ashley Greene looked beautiful in a white Giambattista Valli gown finished with a golden belt and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Heidi Klum, on the contrary, opted for a black sparkly Michael Kors dress with a V-shaped neck and open back. The supermodel wore it with Christian Louboutin shoes and clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Doutzen Kroes was one of the guests who ventured into a bright color territory with her two-toned orange J. Mendel gown accessorizing it with minimalistic barely there jewels.

Katharine McPhee looked stylish and glam in a white dress with puff sleeves which she wore with a black clutch, sandals and a dramatic ring.

E! New York Correspondent Alicia Quarles went for a cool feather-like dress which she finished off with a cropped leather jacket, open toe ankle boots and jewelry.

Sarah Jessica Parker stood out in her shiny magenta Maison Martin Margiela couture dress that was accessorized with a long scarf detail.

Model Toni Garrn looked dreamy in a white lace gown accessorizing her look with gold accents and red lipstick.

Another model Karlie Kloss went for a short coctail dress which she wore with ankle strap sandals and a metallic clutch.

Crystal Renn hasn’t changed her taste for Zac Posen designs. The model wore a shiny red structured dress with a sophisticated updo and statement earrings.

The event also saw the like of Lindsay Lohan, socialite Poppy Delevingne, style icon Alexa Chung, DJ and model Leigh Lezark, actress Chloë Sevigny, actress Emilia Clarke, model Anne V and many others.

Sexy Ashley Greene is being really popular this month, as she is featured on the cover of GQ magazine December 2012! Famous for her role in Twilight Saga as Alice Cullen, the mysterios vampire with clairvoyant skills, Ashley is dazzling for the cover of the December 2012/January 2013 issue of the Seventeen. Sweet Greene is reminiscing about the Twilight saga finale, particularly the fun parts:

“We secretly coordinated a surprise dance-off during a scene! We were all in on it, but [the director] Bill Condon didn’t know. [All the vampires] were supposed to charge at each other and destroy each other, and instead we just started dancing! Everyone did it—the Cullen clan and probably 20 vampire extras! It was such an amazing way to end it all.

Moreover, she talks about her former relationships and future plans:

“I certainly have [been in love.] I can still love an ex as a person, regardless if the breakup was bad. I would never wish anything negative on them. It takes more energy to hate them than to wish them well.”, then she adds about seeing herself in the next 5 years:“Healthy and happy. Ideally my career will be extremely stable. I really don’t want to be here for a minute and then gone the next. In five years I wouldn’t be opposed to having a husband and thinking about kids. Okay, maybe 10 years for that! 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Emma Stone wore an outfit from Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection which she paired with black shoes and a belt.

Ashley Greene opted for a sheer lace top with super long sleeves from Wes Gordon, which she paired with classic cropped pants and open toe shoes.

Allison Williams looked chic in a Peter Som dress she paired with black Alejandro Ingelmo heeled sandals.

Ashley Greene covers the November 2012 issue of Marie Claire US. The actress poses in vaiour designer outfits as well as bakes and talks with the magazine about her style and career. The star dons Roberto Cavalli, Chanel, Balmain, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Louis Vuitton, Marni and other designrs’ pieces in the shoot.

When she started her career Greene was working as a waitress and playing small parts in shows like MADtv:

It was definitely hard. But nothing positive comes out of being bitter. You just have to keep on working.

Then the Twilight came around and took her to a whole new level in terms of popularity landing gigs in the fashion industry like representing DKNY as well as the magazine covers (it’s her second Marie Claire cover). About her style Greene says that it’s ‘classic with a little bit of a twist’.

2012 People’s Choice Awards was a big event which was attended by at least a hundred stars. And although only few had a chance to show off themselves on the red carpet they all tried to stand out and get as much attention as possible. However, it was Vanessa Hudgens who stole the limelight.

The three main characters – Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson – all attended the premiere of appeared on the black carpet of the Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part I premiere.
