It was a big event yesterday (February 21) – British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA) 2010 – held at the Royal Opera House in London, England. Lots of celebrities attended it and some got their trophies. (Read the list of winners!) But everyone looked beautiful. And my task now is to show you the dresses I liked the most on the red carpet.
I’ll begin with Kristen Stewart. She wasn’t the best-dressed and her look seemed unfinished but she is the star of Twilight, the saga I liked so much, so she is the first on my list. Kristen looked good in short white strapless Chanel dress and a pair of matching heels. I do think she looks better in jeans.

Kate Winslet couldn’t miss this exciting event and appeared on the red carpet looking elegant and classy. I liked her black dress with lacy insets very much!

Vera Farmiga looked brilliant in a white assymetrical Marchesa gown. The dress was so cute that Vera was an absolute stand out for me!

The year is almost over and it’s time to name the most stylish and fashionable. Vogue.com took this serious responsibility and compiled a list of those who were considered well-dressed at glam events we all like so much.

Alexa Chung was chosen as best-dressed woman of 2009. Congratulations!

Position number two was given to actress Audrey Tautou.

The next comes Sarah Jessica Parker, one of my favourite stars – I love her in Sex And The City! In my opinion, she should be the winner.

Audrey Tautou, a French actress, has always loved Chanel clothes.
And probably this is the fate that decided she was the best to play legendary designer Coco Chanel in new movie ‘Coco Before Chanel’ .

Audrey admits she has been a fan of Chanel for a long time and the actress believes Chanel clothes are wardrobe classics.
She said:
Did I own any Chanel clothes before? I’m a French actress. Of course, I did! I had a few jackets, dresses, shoes and a favourite leather jacket that I wear all the time!”
Unfortunately for Audrey she couldn’t keep the clothes she wore for the film to herself. She felt really frustrated but knew it was fair.
She explained to Britain’s Grazia :
I’d have loved to keep some of the clothes from the movie too – especially the little green riding jacket and hat that she wears in one scene. But all the clothes are going to the Chanel museum, which is where they belong, of course.”
Audrey confessed she felt a bit nervous while shooting the movie as she became convinced the legendary designer was watching her.
She said:
I wondered if she was looking down on me. I was thinking, ‘Be confident. Be strong. Be the boss. Just like Coco herself and whatever you do don’t screw up.’ “
Now I wonder how love to clothes can transform into such an obsession.
