A source said:

Karl had a show and a party, but Lily was not invited. It was Karl’s way of making it clear she is no longer a part of the Chanel family. He instructed his people not to invite her. He is very strict about who can represent the brand and there is a feeling that Lily is too much of a party girl.”

Lily Allen is well-known for her crazy partying and the singer’s behavior at the party at Karl’s home last year was the last drop.

The singer was asked to perform for celebrity audience at the dinner hosted by luxury jewellery firm de Grisogono. And her work was paid generously – £250,000 for 30 minutes of singing.

Cannes Film Festival 2010 has lasted two day only yet but Eva has attracted everybody’s attention already. On the first day she wore a fabulous white Pucci dress with a long train. And on the second day she opted for a sparkling floor-sweeping gem-incrusted gown.

Among the best-dressed female celebrities who attended the Robin Hood premiere was gorgeous Kate Beckinsale who opted for a blue draped tulle gown with a ruffle skirt and embroidered detail by Marchesa. The actress looked wonderful!

Aishwarya Rai looked like a princess in at the premiere in her violet blue fully embroidered tulle and mousseline gown created by Elie Saab.

I liked two more dresses. They were worn by Oscar winning actress Dame Helen Mirren – a classic black dress – and an Australian singer-and-actress Natalie Imbruglia, who donned Alberta Ferretti gown.

The May 13 was a beginning of the opening the The 62nd Cannes Film Festival 2009. And it will be until May 24.

The festival opens with cartoon by Pixar’s Up.

Shu Qi wore blue strapless Roberto Cavalli gown. It was simple but the main accent was made on her necklace.

Tilda Swinton preferred style in bordo colors. She was in bordeaux silk skirt and suede jacket ensemble by Haider Ackermann.

The office suit style was on Daphnee Roulier, who was in a white suit and black hat.

Model Eugenia Silva looks hot in her grey Armani Prive Spring 2008 gown.

And singer Singer Sarah Marshall posed for paparazzi in light blue one shoulder gown with long vertical section.
