Vogue UK February 2012 is a very summery issue! It features model Arizona Muse posing in amazing bright dresses from designer Spring/ Summer 2012 collections. Her makeup is bright too but not as amazing. As for hair, it completes the looks ideally.

Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier Arizona Muse looks great on the pictures. She smiles and happily poses under warm sun rays. She wears Louis Vuitton, YSL, Preen, Chloe, Prada, Nina Ricci and other designers’ creations.

Arizona Muse also wears tons of accessories. Jewelry is funky, bold and colorful. It isn’t made of extremely expensive crystals or stones. Instead, plastic, wooden and metallic pieces were used.

A couple of bags come from Prada and Miu Miu Spring/ Summer 2012 collections. Bold unusual prints make the looks even more eye-catching.

The queen of androgyny, Tilda Swinton, who graces the photoshoot for W Magazine 2011 edition, wears plenty of designer pieces. She appears dressed in Salvatore Ferragamo, Blumarine, Céline, Chloé, Zero + Maria Cornejo, Comme des Garçons, Stella McCartney and other brands. But these garments look really weird on the images, and they do look like something created on another planet.

In the interview for W Magazine August 2011 issue Tilda Swinton shares about gender role play, her own style icons and love to men’s clothing.

Tilda Swinton on gender role play: “People talk about androgyny in all sorts of dull ways. Cahun looked at the limitlessness of an androgynous gesture, which I’ve always been interested in.”

Tilda Swinton on her own style icons: “David Bowie—whom I’ve been orbiting ever since I saw The Man Who Fell to Earth in 1976—and my father, Maj. Gen. Sir John Swinton. They are individuals with whom I share the same planetary DNA.”

Tilda Swinton on her father’s military officer uniforms: “From childhood, I remember more about his black patent, gold livery, scarlet-striped legs, and medal ribbons than I do of my mother’s evening dresses. I would rather be handsome, as he is, for an hour than pretty for a week.”

Tilda Swinton on her friends-designers (everyone from Alber Elbaz to Stefano Pilati to Phoebe Philo): “For someone to know what you need to make you comfortable, they need to know who you are. Having them make clothes for me is like being cooked for by someone who knows what you like to eat.”

Dressed in outfits from everyone from Giorgio Armani, Gucci and Prada to Louis Vuitton, D&G and Yves Saint Laurent Coco Rocha looks energetic and uber-stylish. Wearing an outfit from Chloe the Canadian model looks very comfortable. In Alexander McQueen she is a romantic beauty. Ralph Lauren and Erdem creations make Coco Rocha look chic and elegant while D&G dress transforms her into a young party girl.

Playing dozens roles for Elle Magazine August 2011 edition Coco Rocha still preserves a lot form herself. She is still that funny, cheerful and very artistic girl.

Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 Fashion Trend #4: Texture Overload. Everything is mixed in Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collections. Pumps and stilettos. Despite all hot discussions about how harmful stilettos and pumps are there will always be women ready to sacrifice their health for beauty and elegance. Therefore, such shoes will always be trendy. For Spring/ Summer 2011 high-heeled shoes come in a great variety of colors, from crazy and eye popping hues to reserved and even dull tones.

Flats. Flats are generally perceived as unsexy and focused basically on the comfort of the woman wearing those. However, judging by Spring/ Summer 2011 designer collections flats have become more glamorous and attractive and this makes those more versatile. You can now pair them either with a cute dress or a stylish pair of jeans.

There are modest wedges which are fantastic for everyday wear, espadrille styles, and very exquisite designs you would want to wear to big life events. Flatform Heels. This can be the first time you have ever heard of flatform shoes because this is a new term and it refers to flats that are elevated on a high platform heel, held on by an ankle strap. I would even say that they remind me of summer espadrilles but these are a bit higher. Flatforms do not look very elegant or sophisticated but they do provide great comfort to wearer. Despite the fact the shoes are rather high you can walk easily in these without feeling pain. Chanel, Prada, 3.1 Philip Lim, Michael Kors, Derek Lam, Vivienne Westwood, and Chloé have all featured flatform shoes in their Spring/ Summer 2011 ranges. By the way, flatforms are considered the shoes for 2011!!!

For me Chloe is like Calvin Klein – brand that focuses on minimalism. Simple shapes and silhouettes, earthy tones. Elegance in its purest form. Chloe Spring/ Summer 2011 ad campaign is also very simple. Two models – Iselin Steiro & Malgosia Bela – pose for two adverts wearing Chloe designs. Girls smile, clothes fit well and look great. What else do you need, the customer?

Returning to Chloe Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection, I’ll say it is wonderful. Bags are nice to look at and comfy to wear. They are roomy enough and are of cute new design though typical Chloe style is still traced.

Shoes in Chloe Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 range aren’t as good but I’m sure there will be girls who’d think they’re the best. I like the sunglasses very much. Those bright frames will be perfect to add individuality to your look.
