Unlike other supermodels like Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell isn’t going to give up modelling as this is a great passion in her life.

The 39-year-old beauty claims she still gets a thrill out of walking the runway.
She said:
I still love my day job. When I get asked, if I’m in the right part of the world then I love to do it. I like the adrenaline rush and the live aspect of it. It’s nice when it’s well received and I like helping out the designers if they want me there.”
Besides being busy with her modelling work, Naomi has been working hard on her charity ventures. She is said to be currently putting the final touches to the Fashion For Relief show, that will raise money for mothers and babies of Haiti.
She told vogue.com:
I don’t want to tell you yet who’ll be in the show, I like to keep the element of surprise – it’ll be great, unexpected people. People keep coming to the events because they know they’ll definitely get their money’s worth.”
Although the model doesn’t reveal much about the upoming show we know that such designers as Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Stella McCartney will definitely show their creations during the event.

It’s always nice to see mature women who look gorgeous. I like Dame Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta Jones, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattral, Claudia Schiffer and of course Cindy Crawford.

When I was little I watched Cindy Crawford’s fitness programs and adored her absolutely fabulous body. Time has passed but Cindy still looks great and it seems that ageing hasn’t touched her at all. She claims she has never had any surgery or beauty injections and it’s just nature and her meticulous approach to skin care that makes her look young and beautiful.

The photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar March 2010 issue features the supermodel posing in chic clothes. She wears those with dignity and looks sexy and chic.

Rihanna, who is famous for outrageous outfits, is said to be inspired by Brigitte Nielson.

The 46-year-old actress said Ri is so impressed by her edgy sense of style that she begged for the chance to dress up as her for the day.
Brigitte said:
At the People’s Choice Awards, Rihanna came up to me and said, ‘Brigitte, can I just be you for one day? I’m like, start off bleaching that hair, girl! I always take it as a compliment I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished. The ideas and trends that we created through the years influenced so many things.”
And it turns out that Umbrella star is not the only one who admires Brigitte’s style. Supermodel Cindy Crawford has once expressed her attitude to the Rocky IV star’s distinctive look.
She explained to DANSK magazine:
When I did the Herb Ritts shot where I’m covered in fishnet, Cindy Crawford saw it and went, ‘That’s what I want to do!’ Then she copied me. We did some shoots that were absolutely beyond, but to become an icon and make a difference you have to take chances.”

Cindy Crawford doesn’t want to wear some of the hottest trends of the present time because they used to be fashionable in the 80s when she was a supermodel.

The 43-year-old has been in fashion for so long that now she knows exactly what looks good on her and what spoils the image. So, strong shoulders and high waists are big no-no for her.
She told Britain’s InStyle magazine:
On a fashion shoot the other day, they wanted me to wear a shoulder-padded outfit, but I just couldn’t. I hate high waists too – it’s so unflattering for your butt. There are elements from the 80s that I’ll borrow, but I won’t go the literal route. That’s only fun when you’re young. If you did it the first time around, it’s not as fun the second time.”
While Cindy refuses to wear certain trends she does continue to buy new pairs of shoes. Now she has got about 50 pairs in her wardrobe. But she says she doesn’t keep those for long.
She said:
I love Jimmy Choo in particular. I’m good, though – when I get a new pair of shoes I usually get rid of an old pair.”

Kendra Spears poses for a photo shoot entitled A Feminine Touch featured in Vogue China January 2010 Issue. She looks womanly and exquisite photographed with flowers and trees blooming in the background.

The American model wears beautiful evening dresses and fancy outfits that make her look glamorous and chic. No accessories are seen, though they aren’t necessary as frocks say everything for themselves.

I like the mole on Kendra’s upper lip – looks sexy. Is she the second Cindy Crawford to mark her career with the spot on her face?

Claudia Schiffer plans to create her own fashion line.
The German supermodel has quitted catwalk modelling and now wants to try another sphere – designing. If she does she will follow in the footsteps of fellow supermodels Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford.

The mother-of-two told Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper:
I have been approached so many times over the last 20 years but it has never been the right time. Now, I would consider it but it would have to be the right thing. They would need to be clothes that I would want to wear.”
The model knows fashion and she certainly must have developed a perfect taste. So, her collection would be something of high sophistication and elegance.
The model has recently revealed she wants no more modelling on the catwalk. She will still pose for ad campaigns and magazines instead.

Cindy Crawford is sure she wouldn’t be able to become a supermodel today. The beaty started her career in the early 90 when beaty standards were ‘healthier’ and the models were curvier. Now we see terribly thin girls strutting catwalks and women like Cindy would look out-of place.

She said:
In the year 2009 I wouldn’t have become a supermodel. I look too healthy. There’s one trend after the other. My body with this big bust, normal thighs and toned arms wouldn’t be one of it these days.”
The 43-year-old is a US size 6 while a normal model is size 0. She has quit modelling recently explaining it by the pressure she experiences when people compare her to younger women.
She explained:
I’m more comfortable with myself in the sense that hey, this is who I am now. I guess I appreciate my body for other things – like I was able to give birth to two kids. But at the same time, I am aware my body doesn’t look the same way it did when I was 23. I actually don’t want to feel that pressure. I don’t want to stand next to a 20-year-old on the runway, even if people say you can still do it. It is like, ‘Why would I do that to myself?’ It would just make me depressed.”
The mother-of-two also says she feels all right with ageing.
She told Germany’s Bunte magazine:
Of course I don’t like how my skin gets saggy and that I get more wrinkles, but I do like being in my 40s. You find yourself and you know what you’re able of – apart from being pretty.”

Following the statement of Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford said she would rather be shot than make a regular return to catwalk modelling.

The 43-year-old doesn’t want to participate in runway shows any more unless these are for charity.
When the beauty was asked if she would make a catwalk comeback she exclaimed:
Oh God! Shoot me, no!”
The supermodel wants to focus on her skincare and homeware ranges.
I love the dress-up part of modelling and, once in a while, I will do a photo shoot or a catwalk show for charity. I work a lot in the US – I have a homewares label with JC Penneys and my own skincare line and, these days, I enjoy going to the marketing meetings and the production meetings and being a part of the whole process; using my brain.”

Supermodel Cindy Crawford is on the cover of the 2008 Fall issue of the Michigan Avenue Magazine.

On the Michigan Avenue cover, Cindy Crawford, 42, poses in body-hugging night dresses in yellow, dark red and black.
The universal ideas seem to be sort of a mix between burlesque, cabaret and Mardi Gras.
Her photoshoots for magazine are made with great professionalism. She looks young, fresh and even timeless.

She wears pink organza gown by Vintage Max Choul ($3,800). Jackie bracelet by Van Cleef & Arpels ($20,100). Van Cleef & Arpels. Panthère de Cartier brooch by Cartier (price on request). Folies lace-up sandals by Yves Saint Laurent ($895). Vintage top hat, stylist’s own.
