Gwyneth Paltrow Promotes Coach Bags

Gwyneth Paltrow has signed a new deal. This time the actress will represent Coach bags. The first two images have already been released. They feature Gwyneth on the top of the Tudor City skyscrapers in Manhattan.

Shot by Peter Lindbergh Gwyneth Paltrow looks very natural and pretty. And the Coach bag she has in her hands is really nice.

First rumors about Gwyneth Platrow’s new deal started spreading after the star was spotted leaving Coach headquarters with company creative director Reed Krakoff in April. Krakoff later officially confirmed Gwyneth’s position at the brand and commented on why she was chosen to promote the campaign on the international level.

The designer said:

[Gwyneth Paltrow is] a natural choice . . . She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Acts, Sings, Cooks and Models!!!

It’s Gwyneth Paltrow’s heyday. She’s everywhere – acting, singing, cooking… I think I’ll get tired of her soon. Her latest venture (pretty unexpected for me!!!) is the contract with Coach. Gwyneth was asked to represent the brand this fall and next spring.

Coach company is going to celebrate their 70s anniversary, so they are planning to organize an international campaign which will be easier to do with such a star as Gwyneth Paltrow.

Gwyneth feels beyond excited about the new deal:

I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand. I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”

Coach’s president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff said Paltrow was “a natural choice.…She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.”

The adverts will appear in international September books.

Michelle Trachtenberg designs jewellery

Michelle Trachtenberg has teamed up with handbag designer Coach to create a new jewelry collection for the brand’s Poppy line.

The collection will include faux pearls, intricate hardware and crystals of all sorts of colors.

The jewelry will go on sale in spring 2010.

This is the second time Michelle has worked with accessories. In 2006, she designed a line called Bella, which included one-of-a-kind pieces made with semi-precious stones.
