I would start from Chirstian Louboutin shoes. They are the best for me. I know you would say it is banal but these shoes are really special. Yes, they aren’t very comfortable, and those heels are often hard to walk in but they are worth the pain we suffer. The designer was right. Gaetano Perrone has released just one collection under his own name but it has already found its fans. It is not surprising at all considering the fact he has been creating footwear for Alexander McQueen for a few years. His shoes are spectacular – extravagant but incredibly beautiful in design they will soon appear on the red carpet as often as shoes of other exclusive brands. I was impressed with Nicholas Kirkwood’s first footwear collection and immediately remembered the name of a young but very talented designer. D&G Spring/ Summer 2012 collection seems a little out-of-place here due to the fact it is casual and shoes presented in it are far from being cute or elegant but don’t we all from time to time turn to comfier styles – flats, wedges, even sneakers? I love prints, especially florals. The more the better. So, it’s not surprising that Printed Maiden photoshoot from Elle Greece February 2012 issue starring Natalia Zakharova looked so appealing to me.

Photographed by Dimitris Skoulos for Elle Greece the model looks amazing in all the outfits she wears for the shoot. And she wears quite a lot. As far as I can recognize the designer pieces Natalia is dressed in Mary Katrantzou trouse suit, D&G and Pucci maxi dresses, Blumarine lovely mini finished with flip flops and a cap from the same collection, leather pencil skirt with a car pattern by Prada, Iceberg and Dsquared2 pieces, and Missoni swimsuit.

My favorite photo is the one with Natalia Zakharova posing in Blumarine short dress printed with blue flowers. The model is laughing and looks really great.

Spring/ Summer 2012 Dress Trend #1: Airy maxi dresses. Maxi dresses are always in vogue but during Spring/ Summer 2012 season it is airy maxis that will be top trendy. Made of chiffon, taffeta, organza and other sheer fabrics maxi dresses come in colorful prints. Floral print has a tendency to come back every summer. During Spring/ Summer 2011 it was superhot. Nearly every designer made at least one outfit featuring it. Carolina Herrera’s collection was fully based on the concept of beauty of flowers.

For Spring/ Summer 2012 floral print is to be as trendy. This time Blumarine focused on the print and created the range which was literally blooming. Maybe it was too extreme but the effect was impressive. Other designers and brands that used the floral prints extensively include: Iceberg, D&G, Mary Katrantzou, Erdem and others.

Rumors have been circulating since March this year about Dolce&Gabbana planning to close their youthful D&G line. Until yesterday nothing was confirmed. But during Milan Fashion Week before the D&G Spring/ Summer 2012 show started Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana said they would no longer produce the affordable line.

The two designers commented:

For the upcoming seasons, D&G will become part of Dolce&Gabbana, giving even more strength and energy to our collections. To us, it’s like going back to when we began our adventure: full of ideas.”

Of course D&G couldn’t disappear from the fashion horizon without showcasing the last jaw-dropping collection. Their Spring/ Summer 2012 range was bigger and more impressive than ever with each piece made of colorful scarves.

Scarves were beautifully wrapped around models’ bodies, they were used to make skirts, blouses and even panties. Prints were mixed to the extreme as were the colors. Despite the fact it was a real turmoil it looked stylish, like everything from D&G.

Speaking about designs we can say they were fresh and daring, sometimes a bit crazy but in general lovely and sexy. The runway dappled with colorful sunfrocks, maxi and mini dresses as well as pants and bloomers.

Accessories in D&G Spring/Summer 2012 collection were as vibrant. Prints, tassels and tiny sizes of bags made those look cute and interesting. Jewelry was very Dolce&Gabbana – luxurious, elaborated and eye-catching.

The upcoming season is almost here so we are to tell all about men fashion trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012.The designers have much to offer so men’s fall fashion is very rich in terms of colors, styles, textures, and fabrics. Military trend goes on: Military style coats and jackets as well as accessories have been all over the runway and the trend is continuing since the last year. Such designers and brands as Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen, and Versace showed off some some very stylish military jackets and outerwear. Alexander McQueen outerwear is heavily influenced by military fashion.

Preppy fashion adds a splash of color: Preppy fashion is a big trend this fall. If you like casual style and comfortable clothes in bright hues then you might find plenty of designs in the collections of Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, Junya Watanabe, D&G, Acne, and Etro.

Every shade of gray: Gray is classic. It can be worn with black and white as well as mixed with bolder colors. Whether you’re sporting a casual look or a business suit, gray color is one of the major trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Michael Kors, Dior Homme, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, and Bogetta Veneta have used gray in suits, outerwear and other clothing.

Neutral tones with splashes of bold hues: Many designers have went for neutral tones for their Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collections but presented them with pops of bolder hues to keep it interesting. Canali, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro, and Michael Kors have shown off some clothes in light brown hues, light gray tones, and even pure white. Accessorize the neutral suit with a bold red or teal scarf.

Stylish suits and workwear: The suits for Fall/Winter 2011/2012 feature single and double-breasted jackets, pleated trousers and bold pocket square. Suits have been seen at Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Versace, Canali, Michael Kors, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Workwear and overalls have been made stylish as seen at G-Star, Buckler, Hermes, and Marni. Featured in leather and with outward pockets the overalls look fresh and fashionable.

Luxurious fabrics: Velvet is continuing as a trend alongside such luxurious fabrics as cashmere, fur, leather, and calfskin. These and other luxe fabrics have been all over runway. Velvet jackets, colored leather, fur coats and calfskin outerwear can be seen at Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Etro, and others.

Chunky knit and Nordic sweaters: Chunky knit sweaters in bold colors as well as the sweaters with Nordic motifs are big this season. They are warm and yet bright and can be found at Missoni, Junya Watanabe, Versace, and Hermes. By the way, bright and neutral turtlenecks also trend this season.

Loose-tailored clothes: Some loose-tailoring is also a big trend for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. From loose-fitting overalls and trousers to oversize loose coats and jackets you get to enjoy some freedom of motion alongside some form-fitting suits.

Some minor trends include various prints as seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Etro fashion shows, hats that have been seen at many shows including that of Dior Homme, Lanvin, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Dsquared2. Creased cuffed trousers are also among Fall/Winter 2011/2012 trends as well as the external pockets and scarves winded round the neck. Kristen Stewart is looking astonishing in September 2011 issue of W Magazine. Actress shows her sultry side in a series of beautiful shots by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. It’s amazing how the hair and makeup can change one’s character. I really love how she looks in the pics, glamorous yet quiet innocent. In the shoot Kristen Stewart changes Max Mara’s wool sweater to oversize Theory Scotia angora sweater, from that to a Gucci gown with red petal detailing and to a leather biker jacket by Junya Watanabe over D&G silk bodysuit. W Magazine has sit down with an actress to talk about her career.

Stewart was asked about how she started her career and was it difficult for her to do numerous takes on the Panic Room movie set where Kristen Stewart played Jodie Foster character’s ten-year-old daughter.

I didn’t realize that 80 takes wasn’t normal. But it’s funny: Some of my proudest moments from film sets are in Panic Room,

actress told W Magazine. The interview has of course touched on the subject of her work in Twilight franchise and Stewart‘s long character Bella Swan. Stewart said that after shooting the last scene for the movie Breaking Dawn she felt lighter than ever.

We needed to film one more sort of honeymoon scene and we went to the Virgin Islands. After that scene, my true final scene, I felt like I could shoot up into the night sky and every pore of my body would shoot light. I felt lighter than I’ve ever felt in my life.

Twilight star also talked about the scenes from the Breaking Dawn such as wedding and childbirth. She said that a wedding dress was a “huge deal”.

This was my first wedding. It was insane. And odd. The wedding dress experience was a huge deal. I tried on one version of the dress, and it was like tweak and tweak and alter and tweak and change, and then it’s done. BFD dress. Huge deal.

The colors are bright and mood-improving: neon orange, lettuce green, lemon yellow, variety of pinks and a bit of black. I would never say this range has been created by D&G for the Fall and Winter. During these months we normally opt for more reserved tones, don’t we? Time to change habits?

Plenty of cute airy dresses, warm tunics, stylish and almost classic jackets (everything about them says you can wear it to the office, but the lining is covered with letters, it is splashed with letters!)))) terrific accessories and very comfy sneakers… Yes, sneakers!!! Sneakers with dresses and all the other garments. Not a single outfit was worn with shoes in D&G Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection.

To tell you the truth I’m not a fan of such clothing myself, I prefer to stick to a more elegant style. However, I just can’t help admiring the looks. These garments will be ideal for young girls. Perfect!
