To celebrate the brand’s heritage the designers sent more than 70 models down the runway wearing sumptuous clothing and beautiful accessories. Black was the dominant color in the collection with addition of grey, beige, yellow and red. Leopard prints and polka dots were also important.

The extensive range included chic classic pieces like skirt suits, skirts, blouses, jackets and coctail dresses. Some items were more light-hearted and featured flower patterns and bold combinations of textures. To add femininity and sex appeal the creative duo used lace and sheer fabrics.

Madonna seems to be a strong personality but even she can’t help crying reading a letter from beloved. The singer is said to have burst into tears when she posed for Dolce & Gabbana’s spring campaign.

While she was photographed for the luxury fashion brand in a number of different settings, she once had to pretend to be reading a letter from a loved one. And at this moment something in her sole broke and she started crying.
Designer Domenico Dolce, who is a close friend of Madonna, said:
She was really crying! It wasn’t fake!”
No one knows exactly why this scene provoked such strong emotions from the 51-year-old but this shows us that she is still a real person, and it is good.
The images were snapped in black and white by photographer Steven Klein with Madonna doing all kinds of housework.
The worldwide campaign will be started next month.

Summer with its vibrant colors has ended and we have to get used to more reserved tones. But these do look chic and sophisticated.

Karen Collins, an acclaimed photographer, has shown how he sees fashion in the fall season. It’s sumptuous but has few bright colors.

The photo shoot is called “Darkness Falls” metaphorically telling us that the energy and vividness of summer will not return any more. And now it’s time for darker shades and restrained sexuality.

Models are posing in various saucy ways wearing silks, lace, and sheer fabrics by world-known designers like Dior, Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana on the black background.

So, he started out as a doll designer, but this year he has already received the presidential first dance of approval with the Inauguration Ball dress and this is probably the beginning of a terrific career.
Who knows, maybe in a few years Jason Wu would be close to well-known and respected brands like Chanel and Dolce&Gabbana, and the whole world will speak about his designs with admiration and recognize them among thousands of others.

Jason keeps on working with dolls which helped him to make his first steps in fashion industry. Now he dresses up dolls chez Colette for $300.
Besides, Jason Wu has another two dolls in the works: one for Jeffrey New York’s tenth anniversary and a second for a Japanese fashion house.

Why I single out the necklace from other jewelry trends? Because it’s so multifaceted.
Statement jewelry is back in the game.

Stones, metals, beads, massive chains and crystals are of great value for Autumn/Winter 2009-2010.
Super massive and extravagant necklaces were in John Galliano, Marc Jacobs, Thakoon and Lanvin collection.

Plenty of metals and geometrical shapes were presented in their jewelry lines. John Galliano’s Fall 2009 collection was inspired by the Tsar Russian mood.
The pendants are round and very heavy.

A bikini or two piece is a women’s swimwear with two parts, one covering the breasts, the other the groin, leaving an uncovered area between the two.
It is often worn in hot weather on the beach or while swimming.
The shapes of both parts of a bikini resemble women’s underwear, and the lower part can range from revealing thong or g-string to briefs and modest square-cut shorts.
Bikini is universal swimwear for summer time. And it’s timeless.
In Summer 2009 the pair of bright bikinis is on top of the Must Haves category.
