While on the cover she doesn’t really impress, which is a photographer’s fault I think, she does set pulses racing inside the edition.

In the interview for Marie Claire March 2012 issue Eva Mendes talks about Ryan Gosling she is currently dating, her body image and dreaming about having Julianna Moore’s career.

What I tell girls is what they don’t like about themselves now, they will probably end up loving as an adult, because that’s what happened to me. When I am complimented on things that I didn’t like when I was 13, like my overbite and my mole, that’s when you realize that your imperfections are why people love you.”

It was a fail-safe solution for Dolce & Gabbana to hire gorgeous Monica Bellucci to star in their Spring/ Summer 2012 ad campaign. The actress is the best embodiment of Italian beauty which becomes even more evident with age. Posing alongside model Bianca Balti Monica looks fabulous.

While 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards was not about fashion in any way we still can’t miss our change to discuss some of the most interesting red carpet looks. Lady Gaga was the biggest attention-grabber of all (Who would doubt that?). Her satellite-dish costumes were simply amazing (See All Gaga’s Incredible Costumes At 2011 MTV EMA!).

Katy Perry surprised everyone with her look, too. Instead of a chic ball gown she normally wears to such events the singer opted for a playful mini and a jacket over it.

Selena Gomez, who was the presenter at the 2011 MTV EMA, changed a number of lovely costumes. She wore a terrific Marchesa dress, a sparkling bodysuit, a cute mini dress, etc. (See All Selena Gomez’s outfits At 2011 MTV EMA).

Jesse J, who is a bodysuit girl, this time appeared in a beautiful Dolce & Gabbana dress on the red carpet. She looked unusual but rather pretty. However, I just couldn’t get rid of the feeling she looked much older her age (She’s 23.)

Despite the fact the 2011 MTV EMA was dedicated to music a model Bar Refaeli (See Bar Refaeli’s Full Bio And Picture Gallery) also attended it. She donned a figure-hugging mullet dress and a pair of classy shoes.

Another model and Christiano Ronaldo girlfriend, Irina Shayk also appeared on the red carpet of 2011 MTV EMA. She wore a black floor-length gown with a long split on the leg, peep-toe pumps and emerald earrings to the event.

The two models both have straight blond hair, dark makeup and wear matching clothing by best designers in the industry: Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Chanel and more.

Styled by Charles Varenne both Andrej Pejic and Ginta Lapina look amazing. The picture with the two wearing LV midnight blue dresses with Peter-Pan collars is my favorite.

Speaking about the new strategy Elle editor Robbie Myers said:

We felt it was time to show the sexy side of fashion again, enlisting four of the runway’s super seductive models – Miranda Kerr, Chanel Iman, Adriana Lima, and Doutzen Kroes. These covers harken to what made Elle Elle: Shot outside, drenched in sunlight, color, and of course accessories, the women look right back at you with all the personal and sexual confidence in the world.”

Photographed by Alexei Hay the models look beautiful and stylish. It’s even difficult to say whose cover is lovelier. I definitely like Chanel Iman’s image. She’s so fresh and youthful, and her smile is the most charming.

Doutzen Kroes’ cover is fabulous, too. The swimsuit and the green cardigan on the blue-sky background make the model look perfect. (More about Doutzen Kroes)

Miranda Kerr (Check out Miranda Kerr’s profile), who is reported to be the next VS Fantasy Bra wearer, is the girl with the greater number of accessories. Her photo in a colorful swimsuit, and orange cap and shoes is really stylish.

The sexiest Elle pictures are with Adriana Lima (Adriana Lima’s photo gallery). This girl simply oozes sex appeal. Dressed in Chanel on the cover and Dolce & Gabbana inside the editorial the Angel looks fantastic.

Vogue Japan Editor at Large Anna Dello Russo has made a move that now will be scrutinized by the fashion onlookers around the world now. In the behind-the-scenes video the stylist tapes Crystal Renn‘s eyes before applying makeup. Why? It didn’t make Crystal Renn look particularly Asian but, on the other hand it does have that connotation, at least from the side. People got offended but well is it the only reason to taping one’s eyes? Tape was used by actresses before facelifts emerged to give them a younger look or more feline eyes. So maybe it’s not what it looks like?

I think Crystal Renn is a great model and I do like some pieces from Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection that got a spread in Vogue Japan October 2011 issue. The spread looks great and Renn shows off some masculine and feminine outfits and looks amazing.

Anna Dello Russo said she loved Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection and it shows. Renn dons tuxedos, star-printed shirts and bejeweled wear on the photo set all from the designers’ latest collection. Though the tuxedo pants do look comical on Crystal Renn‘s frame.

In the beauty story “Call Her Diva” Renn sports bright colorful frocks and no less colorful makeup with fierce winged eyeliner topped with varying electric colors. Her hair styled in a bouffant 60′s style and she wears bright chunky jewelry and fur.

Beyonce looked super chic in a bright orange dress from Lanvin Fall 2011 collection. Its flowing style made her look very very graceful. Despite announcing the baby news Beyonce still went to perform at the show sporting Dolce & Gabbana outfit with a purple glitzy tuxedo jacket from their Fall 2011 RTW collection.

Beyonce friend singer Kelly Rowland has opted for black mini dress from Falguni & Shane Peacock Fall 2011 collection with gold appliques and feathery front. It looks great on Kelly who has paired the dress with Christian Louboutin peep toe shoes.

Another best-dressed celeb was Selena Gomez who looked great in black lace Julien Macdonald mini dress with a long train. The bodice embroidery is amazing and the gold accessories add a bit of shine to the outfit. The gold gold Brian Atwood shoes perfectly match the Judith Leiber clutch and Ofira jewelry.

Katie Holmes looked relaxed and playful in her Azzedine Alaia in an intricate print that she paired with brown Proenza Schouler shoes with black lacing. I would opt for other shoes here but she still looks great.

Zoe Saldana looks gorgeous in her mini Barbara Bui dress from Fall 2011 at 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. The dress/tunic has an embellished top and a plunging neck. The actress also wore Barbara Bui reptile skin sandals, black Lanvin clutch and Ofira jewelry.

Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova are known as supermodels of the nineties. But they make another comeback with their cover of September 2011 issue of Spanish Vogue. All three supermodels are dressed in Dolce & Gabbana star-printed dresses and are showing off their mild long legs in towering heels. The trio of supermodels who are in their late 30s and early 40s look great on the magazine cover shot by Tom Munro.

Supermodels get their own separate spreads in the magazine each named with the models’ names and shot by different photographers. Helena Christensen poses in a series of shots by Miguel Reveriego wearing some hot pants, bras and open button denim shirts. Though the outfits don’t look quite wearable.

Eva Herzigova poses in a series of shots by Paola Kudacki with a head of curls in some classy outfits. The 38 year-old supermodel wears almost no makeup and looks beautiful in her photo spread “Eva”.

Claudia Schiffer dons wide-brim hats, fur, and dresses looking stunning in her black and white photo set by Tom Munro.

The fashion insiders say that the models are making comeback to fashion magazine covers  because the economy of today doesn’t let mags spend more money on inviting a celebrity. So don’t expect to see only celebrities on fashion magazine covers this September. The faces you will also see are those of Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Natalia Vodianova, Heidi Klum, and Karlie Kloss.

The upcoming season is almost here so we are to tell all about men fashion trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012.The designers have much to offer so men’s fall fashion is very rich in terms of colors, styles, textures, and fabrics. You will see some trends continuing like military fashion, and many new ones that will diversify your style.

Military trend goes on: Military style coats and jackets as well as accessories have been all over the runway and the trend is continuing since the last year. Such designers and brands as Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen, and Versace showed off some some very stylish military jackets and outerwear. Alexander McQueen outerwear is heavily influenced by military fashion.

Preppy fashion adds a splash of color: Preppy fashion is a big trend this fall. If you like casual style and comfortable clothes in bright hues then you might find plenty of designs in the collections of Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, Junya Watanabe, D&G, Acne, and Etro.

Every shade of gray: Gray is classic. It can be worn with black and white as well as mixed with bolder colors. Whether you’re sporting a casual look or a business suit, gray color is one of the major trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Michael Kors, Dior Homme, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, and Bogetta Veneta have used gray in suits, outerwear and other clothing.

Neutral tones with splashes of bold hues: Many designers have went for neutral tones for their Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collections but presented them with pops of bolder hues to keep it interesting. Canali, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro, and Michael Kors have shown off some clothes in light brown hues, light gray tones, and even pure white. Accessorize the neutral suit with a bold red or teal scarf.

Stylish suits and workwear: The suits for Fall/Winter 2011/2012 feature single and double-breasted jackets, pleated trousers and bold pocket square. Suits have been seen at Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Versace, Canali, Michael Kors, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Workwear and overalls have been made stylish as seen at G-Star, Buckler, Hermes, and Marni. Featured in leather and with outward pockets the overalls look fresh and fashionable.

Luxurious fabrics: Velvet is continuing as a trend alongside such luxurious fabrics as cashmere, fur, leather, and calfskin. These and other luxe fabrics have been all over runway. Velvet jackets, colored leather, fur coats and calfskin outerwear can be seen at Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Etro, and others.

Chunky knit and Nordic sweaters: Chunky knit sweaters in bold colors as well as the sweaters with Nordic motifs are big this season. They are warm and yet bright and can be found at Missoni, Junya Watanabe, Versace, and Hermes. By the way, bright and neutral turtlenecks also trend this season.

Loose-tailored clothes: Some loose-tailoring is also a big trend for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. From loose-fitting overalls and trousers to oversize loose coats and jackets you get to enjoy some freedom of motion alongside some form-fitting suits.

Some minor trends include various prints as seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Etro fashion shows, hats that have been seen at many shows including that of Dior Homme, Lanvin, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Dsquared2. Creased cuffed trousers are also among Fall/Winter 2011/2012 trends as well as the external pockets and scarves winded round the neck. If you like prints there are lots of swirling prints in Etro Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection as well as plaid can be found in collections by many designers and brands and, of course, Burberry Prorsum.

You have seen it everywhere this season. First on the runway, then on the covers of magazines, inside magazines, on red carpet and finally on celebs’ candids. Star print is the new leopard. At least for now. The print has blown the fashion world when Dolce & Gabbana have showcased their Fall/Winter 2011 collection this year. Everything from shift dresses to shoes has been covered with stars – big stars, small stars, different size stars. The pieces come in solid and shimmering gold finishes in various colors and on different fabrics. So you’ve got the idea. Star print is very trendy.

Celebs wore most star-printed pieces from the collection including starry pants and sheer maxi dresses. Fashionistas from Kim Kardashian to Jessica Alba has tried a new print on and amazingly enough the star print suits almost everybody, though I’m not personally a fan of oversize stars. I’m wondering why music note print hasn’t got that popular.

So how does one, very trendy fashionista wear this star print? You could wear it casually in short dresses and pants adding bold hues in tops and cardigans, footwear and accessories. If you plan an evening out or something little more official you can go with a midi dress with a high neck or a sexy low-cut lace trimmed decollete. If you like to shine there are star-printed pieces finished with sequins and paillettes. Sheer clothes must can be worn with a black or nude body or slip underneath it, just make sure the nude matches your skin tone as much as possible.

Accessorize star print with even bolder accessories like bejeweled bags and clutches and shiny footwear. Any other prints around? Throw’em in just make sure it all looks stylish, not overdone. Though it’s hard not to overdo when you’re mixing prints. Go with bold accessories like earrings, other jewelry, footwear, and bags. And if your budget is tight Topshop and Oasis have got starry options for you.
