Christina Hendricks is simply amazing so, honestly, I look forward to every cover she’s on. This time the Mad Men star graces May 2013 cover of Flare magazine. Wearing a bright yellow dress the actress looks effortlessly chic as usual. She shared on dealing with rejection:

I’ve been to a million auditions and have been rejected a million times, so it’s something that I’m used to. You’re either right for it or you’re not right for it. You could leave thinking you had the best audition in the world and they say you don’t look like the person I imagined. It has nothing to do with your talent. Someone could have just broken up with a redhead the other day and not want to hire me.

Emily Blunt stuns on the May 2013 cover of InStyle, wearing a pink metallic Burberry Prorsum outfit and wet look hair. The star talks marriage, being thirty and her first action movie with the magazine, saying of Hollywood:

I see Hollywood as a bubble that you pop your head into every now and again. I never get fully immersed in it.

Cate Blanchett looks gorgeous on the black and white cover of Australian Harper’s Bazaar. The star talks fashion and arts in the interview and defends her style:

Couture is a cabinet of curiosities. It’s a place of experimentation and I think the red carpet is a great place to display it. I knew people would either hate that [2009 crochet Romance Was Born] dress or really love it. People get so worried about what everybody thinks. But I love Romance Was Born because they have a great anarchic freedom.

Carey Mulligan scored a few covers including Vogue US May 2013 cover where she is portrayed in the style of her latest movie heroine Daisy Buchanan. Mulligan talks about getting the role in the film as well as making the Great Gatsby. She also covers Flaunt Fabrication Issue and June 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar UK.

Speaking of Great Gatsby, Vogue Australia dedicated its May 2013 issue to the film, featuring Karlie Kloss in 20′s style look on the cover.

Kate Hudson looks amazing in red Gucci gown as she covers Elle UK May 2013. The star talks family, her fiance Matthew Bellamy and ballroom dancing. On the latter she commented:

Oh my God I love it. I’ve learnt the cha-cha and the tango. I’m having dresses made. Those colours and flounces are totally my guilty pleasure. The whole thing’s an excuse to go out on the dancefloor looking almost naked. With sequins. It’s so sexy.

Miley Cyrus Covers Elle UK June Issue 2013

Fans of Miley Cyrus should be on alert since the young starlet is making her debut on the cover of ELLE UK June 2013 issue, which will be available starting from May 1. However, it wasn’t a totally unexpected thing since the rumors about Miley gracing ELLE UK cover have been in air for a while, especially in the Twitter space.

In the 10-page portfolio, which was shot by renowned photographer Jan Welters, Cyrus demonstrates a tremendous style evolution since Hannah Montana. On the photos the young celebrity models crops tops, cut-off jeans and dress by the high end labels like Fendi, Pucci and Saint Laurent.

It is different, and it does show a different side of style which is close to how I am — a little more punk, a little more edgy. It’s like — sometimes like doing an album, you don’t want to cut the songs that you do like but you can only choose a few — and I feel like there’s so many options and outfits and pictures that you end up really wanting.

In the forthright interview Miley tells about her attitude towards social media and about her long-term relationship with Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus admitted that she used to be too outspoken with people and revealed too much personal information, which wasn’t right:

I just don’t feel they get that privilege any more. Like on my Twitter, I’m much more… not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff any more.

Miley was not verbose when commenting on her engagement with Liam Hemsworth as well: she also preferred to keep it as reserved as possible:

We have a house together and dogs. It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it any more.

Miley also shared her opinion about the essence of sexuality. She supposes that sexuality doesn’t necessarily means flashing a bare body, especially when you are a star, whose sexuality lies in charisma:

Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that’s not just showing your tits. I don’t want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it’s all about their clothes — or lack of clothes.

Miley Cyrus is one of the most popular young celebrities today. The 20-year-old singer can boast 400 million social reach – 12 million Twitter fans and 25 million likes on Facebook – besides her music videos have over hundreds of millions of views on Youtube. Seems like the teens from all over the world got crazy about this girl, who acquired popularity since she was a teen.

Rita Ora Elle US May 2013 Cover

For the Women In Music issue Elle US chose to feature the newly emerged singer Rita Ora dressing her in couture garments from Chanel, Valentino and Dior. The star has got two covers on one of which she wears Mickey Mouse ears and makeup.

The British star talked about her break into American music scene with signing with Jay-Z’s label, her childhood idols, Sprice Girls and getting that red Marchesa dress she wore at 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards:

I went up to [Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman] and said, ‘Hi, I’m Rita. Nice to meet you. I need to wear your dress.’ She was like, ‘What dress?’ They’ve got 10 million dresses. I said, ‘Look, I have your dress as the screen saver on my phone. This red dress needs to be on my body.’

Rita Ora emerged in 2012 with her debut album Ora citing Gwen Stefani and Beyonce as her inspirations. The singer’s new album is already set to come out this summer. Meanwhile Ora attends various fashion events including the past London Fashion Week and award ceremonies like Brit Awards and others.

Rita Ora Covers Elle’s US Women In Music Issue

The photoshoot by Thomas Whiteside shows singer wearing haute couture gowns from collections of such brands like Chanel (cover), Valentino and Dior. Styled by Joe Zee the outfits look amazing standing out against plain backgrounds.

Of course, accessories can enhance even couture dresses. Ora wears statement headpieces and jewelry from such brands as Cartier, M&J Trimming, Heather Huey, and others. The Mickey Mouse headpiece from the second cover is by Philip Treacy.

The singer looks comfortable in these dramatic outfits and her signature red lipstick and it’s no wonder as she is known for her distinct dressing style. The singer shared that she doesn’t let her label dictate the latter.

Diane Kruger scored two covers this month as she appeared on Flare and Interview along with Sky Ferreira. The actress posed in Spring designs from Chanel, Bottega Veneta, and Louis Vuitton for Flare Magazine. She told Interview that she couldn’t continue as a model because she was unhappy.

Taylor Swift ditched her signature red lipstick for both covers she scored this month. For both InStyle and Vanity Fair covers the singer sports her bangs and white Spring dresses looking natural and sweet. She told InStyle that her former boyfriends can write songs about her too if they want to.

Lana Del Rey goes for Spanish style glamour as she covers L’Officiel Paris. The Blue Jeans singer dons Dolce & Gabbana, Rochas, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren Collection for the shoot completed with retro wave  hairstyle and red lips.

Kate Winslet is featured on Harper’s Bazaar April 2013 cover. The actress did a black and white photoshoot wearing beautiful dresses and impeccable winged eyeliner. Vanessa Paradis covered Harper’s Bazaar Russia dressed in white ensemble and holding a red umbrella.

Tatler Russia chose Amanda Seyfried to grace their April 2013 cover. The star looks amazing in that same dress by Dior that Daphne Groeneveld wears on cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain April 2013.

Nicki Minaj ditched her extravagant style for Elle USA April 2013 cover. The rapper wears her blonde hair in wet styled hair completed with natural makeup. She said she ‘felt naked’ about her cover look since she is not used to go sans her signature pink lipstick and false eyelashes.

Last but definitely not least is Olivia Wilde who covered Marie Claire April 2013 in a beautiful blue dress. The actress talked about meeting her fiance Jason Sudeikis and about their first date. She also says that she cannot wait to have kids.

April fashion magazine covers are here and we get to see more models gracing them. Lately celebrities have been elbowed by fashion models that used to grace magazines before the trend of putting celebrities on covers became widespread. Here are the best covers featuring fashion models Anja Rubik, Daphne Groeneveld, Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Kati Nescher, Vika Falileeva and Hana Jirickova.

Anja Rubik covered Vogue Turkey’s April 2013 issue. The model who just launched her own shoe and accessory collection with Giuseppe Zanotti wears a piece from Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.

Hana Jirickova who covers Vogue México looks effortlessly chic and stylish as she dons another Balmain design – a white cutout long-sleeved dress.

Daphne Groeneveld appeared on Harper’s Bazaar Spain April 2013 cover in a colorful Dior dress. The cover is amazing in terms of contrast between light background and bright colors.

Vogue Portugal April 2013 issue cover model is Kati Nescher photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. Wearing a light head scarf and an off-the shoulder dress the model looks ultimately chic and sophisticated.

Candice Swanepoel looks casual and relaxed on her Vogue Spain April 2013 cover wearing a bralet and a pair of black denim shorts. Victoria’s Secret Angel was photographed by Mariano Vivanco in a sexy shoot in which the model wore designs from Balmain, Chanel, and Michael Kors.

Vika Falileeva is another model to grace Elle fashion magazine. Wearing Prada and red moon manicure the blonde looks simply amazing. The editorial also includes outfits from Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Roberto Cavalli, and others.

Update: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley posed for Vogue Brazil’s April issue second year in a row wearing a fur jacket and a wide-brimmed hat. For the photoshoot the model changes into designs from Saint Laurent, Rodarte, Chanel and other designers.

Rihanna Being Provocative for Elle UK April 2013

Rihanna, being one of the most provocative female singers of the recent times has made another appearance on the magazine cover, and this time it is Elle UK. The 24 year-old star was photographed by Mariano Vivanco in Paris for the promotion of her recent River Island fashion collection for Spring/Summer 2013. In one of the photo-shoots, Rihanna wears a black River Island skirt, which is paired with Louis Vuitton monochrome top, and the other cover features her in a striped bra from her latest collection with a Prada’s silk and satin stole.

In the photo-shoots for the Elle UK magazine, she displays some of the outfits from River Island recent collection, which is about to hit stores next week, and we must admit – they are quite surprising. Despite the photos for the Elle UK cover story she is also wearing outfits by Maison Martin Margiela, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy.

As you know, Rihanna made her debut as a designer during the London Fashion week, and now working with two models in promoting her latest collection. As mentioned by Rihanna herself:

“I designed every single piece in the collection so I could wear it,” the singer-turned-designer told Grazia.

And this is so true! Meanwhile, the young singer also appeared recently on the cover of V Magazine, where she is posing with the famous supermodel Kate Moss. Rihanna has long ago expressed her desire to work with Moss, so in the end we receive a very provocative photoshoots, where two half naked stars photographed by legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino.

But even that is not the end! In the accompanying interview for the Elle, Rihanna revealed the truth about her relationship with Chris Brown, a man that assaulted her in 2009. She said that she would probably want to have kids with him:

‘Stay [her new single] is a story about having love that close and wanting it to last forever. You don’t have that feeling with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he [Chris Brown] is the one I have that kind of relationship with. I will probably have a kid. And I’m praying I can go on vacation for a good month. And I’ll have set some things up so I don’t have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring. I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy.’

So that is quite a surprising turn of events!

Most Amazing Magazine Covers of March 2013

As March is already here, you should be able to navigate in the world of current celebrity cover stories, and today we are giving you an awesome roundup of the most hottest magazine covers for the current month, starting the countdown right now!

1. Teen Vogue

We will start with Chloe Moretz, a young rising Hollywood star, who appeared on the cover of Teen Vogue March edition in a gangsta dreamy outfit. In this sort of bold look where she appears both glamorous and daring.

In the cover shoot she is wearing a amazing white suit, which doesn’t hide her perfect tummy. She shows off her perfect body in a gorgeous white suit.

6. V Mag

Meanwhile, among other hot revelations for March would be the cover of V Magazine, where super-hot Rihanna poses with supermodel Kate Moss, in extravagant poses. Don’t they just look really cool in that photoshoot?

7. Elle Ukraine

Now, if talking about models, there is one amazing cover story with Coco Rocha. She covers Elle Ukraine edition, where she featured outfits from the most recent collections, such as the spring collections of Chanel, Prada, Valentino and others.

However on the cover she is wearing a gorgeous dress from Burberry, with a lovely vinyl bolero, which gives her somewhat futuristic appeal.

8. Lula Mag

Of more model inspiration came the cover of Lula’s Spring/Summer Issue, which portrays ecstatic Karlina Caune and Codie Young as the inspiration for the issue.

Victoria Beckham For Elle UK March 2013

Victoria Beckham looks sexy and glamorous as she covers the Elle UK’s March 2013 issue. The pop star-turned-designer poses in Burberry Prorsum and other designer outfits from Lanvin, Miu Miu, Hussein Chalayan, Manolo Blahnik, and of course, her own label, making peplum cool as ever. Photographed by Carter Smith the designer looks radiant and glam.

The designerwill be showing her two collections from sister lines Victoria Beckham and Victoria by Victoria Beckham during the Fashion Week as well as launch an e-commerce website next month.

On going into fashion business: “It was never my intention to prove anybody wrong. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. I don’t have to work, I need to work. All these people [her fellow fashion designers], they’ve not just been given anything. They’ve worked hard. And I’ve never been given anything either. But I have a good work ethic; David has an incredible work ethic. I want my kids to have a good work ethic. I believe you can achieve anything if you work hard enough to get it.”

On what it means to make her way in fashion: When I was on stage with the Spice Girls, I thought people were there to see the other four and not me. And when I go out with David and people take pictures I think, ‘They’re here to take David’s picture.”

On family and trust: “You’ve got to trust people. And because I am a control freak, sometimes that’s difficult for me, because I want to micro-manage absolutely everything. I can’t hand over. But I’m trying to do that more. It’s hard because I have such a specific vision. Now David has finished playing for LA Galaxy and we are starting a new chapter in our lives; as a family we are all very excited about what lies ahead for 2013.”

Elle UK‘s March 2013 issue hits the newsstands on January 30.

Elle Is Launching in Australia

Bauer Media Group, Hearst Magazines International and Lagardère Active announced the launch of Elle Magazine in Australia back in 2011 and so it will finally happen this year. While the editor of the edition is yet to be named the launch month has already been announced. The October issue of Elle Australia will launch this September.

Elle Australia is the 44th edition of the glossy fashion magazine, though the previous Australian edition of Elle has closed ten years ago.

Elle Australia provides a unique opportunity to innovate and develop the brand across multiple platforms. Elle will lift the bar and set new standards – challenging every notion of what a magazine can do and be,

said Peter Holder, publisher of the Hearst-Bauer Media Group.

It’s not yet known who will cover the first Australian edition but we are excited to see it.

Meanwhile British Vogue is preparing to launch Miss Vogue for youger audiences. The first edition will be the June issue which is planned to launch on May 6. The magazine will include 124 pages of fashion and beauty coverage including the fashion on a budget.

All of us are really excited at the opportunity to create a slightly different Vogue for this readership. We know how much they love the magazine and so I wanted to produce something that would have bespoke content for a younger audience,

said Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman.

In other fashion magazine-related news, Vanity Fair is to include two members of their audience in the International Best-Dressed List. By posting their pictures at Vanity Fair web page the readers can win the spot on the list as well as a monthly prize from designer brands.

People who come into the list in this way will probably have more interesting looks than those who come the traditional way,

said Vanity Fair ‘s editor, Graydon Carter.

Scarlett Johansson covers Elle February 2013 issue wearing a white Victoria Beckham dress and Manolo Blahnik for Victoria Beckham as well as designs from Burberry Prorsum, Jonathan Saunders, and Tom Ford. The star talks marriage, kids, and style.

On her first marriage: “I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It’s hard to put into words. To me, being in a functioning relationship doesn’t mean you have to be married… I never think about marriage. Is that weird? The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, ‘Would I get married again?’”

On having kids: “It’s really not important to me. It has no relevance to me right now. I’m not having kids anytime soon, I’m in a nice relationship, I’m working a lot, and, like I said, it’s not important to me.”

On being a sex symbol: “I think any woman who is curvy and wears a gown to an event is, like, super sexualized. I mean, at the time I was 18, 19. I was young. I’ve always been curvy. It runs in the family. Throw on an evening frock and it’s like all of a sudden you have boobs and everyone is like: ‘bombshell!’ Instantly it was: ‘The new Marilyn [Monroe].’”

On her everyday style: “I dress like a boy most of the time in my own personal life. I like a lot of tailored things and jackets with jeans. I’m a jeans kind of girl… But I like to dress up in girly things sometimes.”
