It’s interesting to note that Emma Watson, who graces the UK Elle front page is also the covergirl of Elle Canada. Both images look good. But I prefer the Canadian one because Emma looks so cute and feminine on it while the UK cover shows us just a part of her face.

The UK Elle November 2011 issue features the Harry Potter star on many photographs. Emma Watson looks pretty on all of them. She is dressed like a Bunny girl, then a glam queen and just a girl-next-door. She’s different but beautiful.

The US Elle is covered by Jennifer Aniston, who’s finally found the love she’s been seeking for so long. She looks amazing – slim, fit, stylish and charming. In the interview for the magazine the Just Go With It star denies she is desperate to have a baby and says she has stood up to a male director once.

Jennifer Aniston on the baby rumors: “But it’s not what you read. There’s no desperation. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. I’m at peace with whatever the plan is. But will you hate me if I say I don’t want to talk about my relationship?”

Jennifer Aniston on a time when she stood up to a male director: “I threw a chair at a director. It wasn’t my proudest moment. He was treating a script supervisor horribly. When the director walked in, I threw a chair at him. I missed, of course. I was like, ‘You can’t speak to people like that.’ I can’t tolerate it.”

Elizabeth Olsen on taking a year off school to make her film debut: “They’re all indies, so the shoots were relatively short — it was great because every single film was a genre, and the directors were so completely different. It helped me figure out what worked for me and how I would adapt. It was difficult at times — like a great year of conservatory training. It was that intense.”

Elizabeth Olsen on her desire to act: “Watching old Frank Sinatra musicals when I was, like, 6. I wanted to be one of the love interests when I got older.”

Kelly Brook arrived at the ceremony in a stunning old-Hollywood-glamour dress which she accessorized with a snakeskin clutch and chic bangles. She was accompanied by her beau Thom Evans at the event.

Emma Watson, who was named the most stylish celebrity by a couple of fashion magazines, surprised the public at GQ Man of the Year Awards 2011 with her Alexander McQueen tartan prom dress that she paired with a leather jacket and black shoes. Charlize Theron decided that dress was too common for such an event and opted for stylish wide-leg trousers and silk halterneck blouse. The actress looked fantastic in her outfit. It seems like crossing boundaries is sometimes a good thing.

Kylie Minogue walked the red carpet at GQ Man of the Year Awards 2011 in an unusual furcoat which she later took off. Underneath she had a sexy black minidress that accentuated the singer’s enviable curves.

Peplums, which were very popular in the 80s of the last century, have been almost forgotten considering the fact vogue has loved skinny girls for over 30 years. Now with the growing interest in healthy size shapes women are no longer afraid of looking a little bigger (with no extremes, of course!) and that brings a natural revival of peplums. Modern peplums are restrained regarding the silhouette but they can be as colorful as those ladies liked rocking in the 20s century. Beware of too much volume but go daring if you like color. You can try the safer hues or even neutrals.

Pair your peplum with a pencil skirt and a clinging top for a slim look. And avoid noticeable accessories to focus attention on the trendy detail.
The best way to demonstrate the power of the trend is to show you celebrities wearing it. And if stars wear something, we will definitely see the same things on non-celebrity fashionistas soon. Emma Watson (Check out Emma Watson’s photo gallery) is British and British people are supposed to be very reserved and undemonstrative. So it came as a great surprise to everyone when Emma couldn’t hide her tears at the last Harry Potter premiere, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows-Part 2 to be precise. Emma Watson also mentioned the pressure of the Hollywood in her life. She said the ongoing pursuit to be slim and perfect almost drove her insane.

Emma Watson on rumors about her bullied at school: “Leaving Brown had nothing to do with bullying, as the media have been suggesting recently. I have never been bullied in my life. Like a lot of other students at Brown, I might spend my third year abroad.”

Emma Watson on being a part of Hollywood: “I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.”

Emma Watson on why she preferred to study in America rather than in the UK: “I felt suddenly very claustrophobic…I thought, ‘I can’t stay here [UK], I won’t be able to concentrate, I won’t be left alone.’”

Emma Watson on the fashion world: “It can be savage and cruel, in that it’s prescriptive – you have to look a certain way and fit a certain mould – but also in the way it’s made. When I went to Bangladesh, to a factory where the clothes are made [for mass market labels], it was horrifying. There is a cost to cheap clothes – if people could see the inhumane way they’re made, they would never in a million years buy them…”

Emma Watson on trying to be the good girl growing up: “There has never been room in my life for that [rebellion] – I couldn’t imagine giving my family any more trouble, it’s already been complicated enough. My dad is one of the top international-communications lawyers in the country, and trying to argue with him was a nightmare, so I learnt quite quickly to be good with words. My mum is an incredible woman. She moved back from Paris with my brother and me after the divorce, and worked full-time, supporting both of us. But I felt I wanted to take care of her – I didn’t want to give her a hard time.”

Emma Watson on hiding her genuine emotions: “When I was growing up, my family, particularly my father, were very stoic. I learnt that young, very young. Part of me is very resentful of this British mentality that it’s not good to express feelings of any kind – that it’s not proper or brave. But I also appreciate it. There’s another book that I read when I was very young – ‘The Constant Princess’ by Philippa Gregory, about Catherine of Aragon – and I know it sounds silly, but I thought, “I’ve got to be just like her”. She was the first wife of Henry VIII and she survived, having been cruelly divorced. I remember being really inspired by that.”

Emma Watson on playing bad girls: “My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, ‘I can’t do it, I just can’t do it.’ I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing – and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it’s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn’t come naturally at all”

In a candid interview for Vogue US July 2011 edition Harry Potter star Emma Watson talks about different things that are important for her. She shared on painting and her favorite artists (By the way, Emma is capable of painting, too!), close friendship with Daniel Radcliff (They even helped composing texts to their most recent flames!), on being similar to Hermione in personality, and many other interesting things. To tell you the truth, some of the facts in the interview came as great revelation to me. I think I even want to follow Emma Watson’s example in some aspects of my life. She’s really, really gorgeous.

Now some highlights from the interview:

Emma Watson on love and relationships: “I’m a feminist, but I think that romance has been taken away a bit for my generation. I think what people connect with in novels is this idea of an overpowering, encompassing love—and it being more important and special than anything and everything else. I would love to not date someone in the same industry as me. Otherwise it becomes what it means to everyone else.”

Emma Watson on fear of failure: “I’ve probably earned the right to screw up a few times. I don’t want the fear of failure to stop me from doing what I really care about.”

Emma Watson on finally being herself and using the choices life offers to her: “I’m going to do what I want to do. I’m going to be who I really am. I’m going to figure out what that is.”

Emma Watson on living in a ‘bubble’ in her early years: “I have had no control over my life. I have lived in a complete bubble. They found me and picked me for the part. And now I’m desperately trying to find my way through it.”

Emma Watson on spending hours in the makeup trailer: “That was my playground. I would sit and play with lipsticks, foundations, and eye shadows; and every now and then Amanda would let me do the extras’ face paint for the Quidditch matches.”

Emma Watson on being close to Hermione’s personality: “Hermione is so close to who I am as a person that I’ve never really had to research a role. I’m literally rediscovering what it means to be an actress.”

Emma Watson on her friendship with Daniel Radcliffe: “He understood what his role was, not just as an actor but as the leading man in this enormous franchise. And I think that was almost more important in a way. He held it all together. I am very grateful for him.”

Radcliffe comments on this: “[We were] very much like brother and sister, and when one or the other of us was having a tricky moment in our lives, it was often that we would confide in each other. We would also help each other with relationship advice; particularly funny were the moments when we would help each other compose texts to the most recent flames in either of our lives (not too flirty, but not too subtle either!). It was certainly a case of the blind leading the blind, but it was extremely funny.”

Emma Watson on struggling to have good education: “I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education. It’s been this uphill struggle. I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.”

Emma Watson on realizing she wasn’t able to handle everything and be good at it: “I just realized at one point that I can’t fight everything. I have to move in the direction of it—and go with it. […] I decided I would do it well.”

Emma Watson on supporting young fashion designers: “I thought, If people are going to write about what I’m wearing, then I would wear young British designers who need the publicity.”

Emma Watson on her work for People Tree, a fair-trade clothing organization: “I didn’t realize what I was taking on. I was doing twelve-hour days on Harry Potter and then coming home to work for two more hours, sizing and cutting designs.”

Emma Watson said:
