Eva says she has had a lot of fun designing the range as she has done everything herself.

She said:

It has been totally hands-on, no one telling me what to do and designing whatever crossed my mind. Having done my own clothes from when I was young in the Czech Republic, I know how things are assembled and think of each detail. I am a perfectionist and I demand a lot, and I wanted something that is affordable but also luxurious.”

The collaboration is beneficial for both sides. Laurent Milchior, co-managing director of the Etam Group, commented to WWD:

Eva is a real woman, always elegant, and will bring a bit more warmth to the brand.”

The collection created by Eva includes jeans, trench coats and gypsy skirts, as well as smarter outfits including long silk evening dresses. Besides, the model has created a range of accessories to match the clothes.

To make the new line more accessible a website is set to be launched in July.

The Russian model Natalia whose face has graced Vogue covers and ads for Louis Vuitton and L’Oreal alike, signed up as Etam’s brand ambassador for three years starting this spring.

Now she is to design a new collection for her line each season over the same period.

The super model’s lingerie range for Etam is named Natalia pour Etam (Natalia for Etam). The collection is wearable and stylish, with splendid swimwear, lingerie and nightwear stealing the limelight.

What I realized when designing this is how feminine I am — I’m feminine to the bone,” – said the mother-of-three to WWD in the interview on her collection.

A teal cotton bodysuit with a butterfly detail at the neck, polkadot two-piece sets and a gray lace corset are gorgeous. The line also features a silk nightgown with a lace panel at the neck that was inspired by a Victorian slip from Vodianova’s own wardrobe.

That could be worn as an evening dress,” she commented her designing decision.
“I wanted the line to be for women who are not afraid and like to get a bit naughty and have bold choices as well.”

The price point is relatively palatable retailing from around $20 for a pair of panties to $80 for a printed silk robe. The items are slated to hit a selection of French and international retail outlets in April.

The show was packed with celebs who were fond of lingerie and who were simply invited by the organizers to shine up the event.

There were Eva Herzigova, Audrey Marnay, Uffie, Victoire de Castellane, Charlotte Casiraghi, Eugenie Niarchos and Lou Doillon, French actress Nora Arnezeder, Micky Green, French actor Melville Poupaud and other representatives of the bohemian world.

Natalia Vodianova has got her green designer’s light.
