Yesterday night (December 9) the British Fashion Awards 2009 were held at the royal Courts of Justice. The ceremony that marked the finale to the British Fashion Council’s 25th anniversary celebrations was sponsored by Swarovski.

The event was wholly dedicated to fashion and those people who have contributed to its development within the last 25 years. Over 500 people arrived including industry leaders, celebrities, designers, retailers, models and journalists.

Lots of celebrity women appeared on the red carpet wearing sumptuous outfits. Singer-turned designer Victoria Beckham wore one of her own creations – a floor-sweeping silk crepe Eighties-style gown with crystal embroidery on the shoulderpads. She looked gorgeous as always.

The Bristish supermodel Kate Moss opted for a similar-to-Posh’s dress – a sheer black Flamenco-style tiered dress with a super-long train. To cover her dignity a bit Kate donned a black blazer. Beautiful!

Bond-girl Olga Kurylenko looked stunning in a short black dress and a bolero, which she paired with black suede pumps and a clutch.

Designer Myleene Klass looked absolutely fabulous in a black frock with sheer sleves and a pair of perfect red shoes.

The other two girls in black were Eva Herzigova and Daisy Lowe who both rocked wonderful long gowns with cutaways and long splits.

Rising star in modelling business Amber le Bon sported a black mini and a blazer together with a pair of grey pumps and a white bag.

Sexy Eva Herzigova is a beach belle for UK Tatler August 2009. On the cover she sits on the boad of a luxe yacht in a striped top and polka-dot pants.

Eva is in the article, titled How to look like a supermodel on the holiday.

The 36-year-old beautiful woman told Tatler magazine she would not think over making any cosmetic procedures herself, as there are none that she needs.

V magazine May/June 2009 has prepared a great present for us – six of the original supermodels including Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, Gisele Bundchen and Daria Werbowy have posed for the glossy’s swimwear issue with each beauty getting her own cover.

The photo shoot was made by esteemed fashion photographer Mario Testino and the result is really worth looking at.

The edition carrying Naomi on the cover spots the British-born star dressed as a Playboy bunny. She’s wearing a hot one-piece swimsuit, complete with gold cuffs and rabbit ears.

She looks absolutely amazing!

Former Wonderbra model Eva Herzigova chose a blonde wig and denim jacket to wear on her cover. She’s posing Marilyn Monroe-style and is hot as ever!

Claudia isn’t romantic or cute on her front cover – with her hair scraped back she’s showing off her flexibility with a high kick while wearing Yves Saint Laurent boots and a Louis Vuitton swimsuit.

Vanessa Paradis’s so beautiful on French Vogue November 2008 cover. The beautiful photoshoot of her is To Die!

The cap by Miu Miu, gap in the teeth, red nails and stuffy eye all are just screaming great.

Carine Roitfeld tapped the professional photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot to capture the modern face of Miu Miu.

The wholeheartedly anticipated age issue features Cindy Crawford by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, Penelope Tree by Bruce Weber, Anna Selezneva and Eva Herzigova by Mario Sorrenti, and the long-awaited release of Ryan McGinley’s buzzed-about cooperationwith Raquel Zimmermann.

The most fascinating editorial? Hands down “De 10 a 60 ans.”

Also photographed by Inez & Vinoodh, this Roitfeld-styled spread features a successfuly and “gracefully aging” Eniko Mihalik.

While some argue that the “younger” photos are somewhat ominous, the photographs are so well-rendered and infallible conceived that while decidedly spooky, the general tenor is still beneficial nonetheless.

Reese Witherspoon tells the story of finding her Oscar outfit, becoming the quintessential Nina Ricci woman, and even about her family and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.

The actress told she is in love with Gyllenhaal and feels “lucky” to have him in her life. Also  she denies rumors that she doesn’t like her Four Christmases co-star Vince Vaughn.

The former lingerie model, Eva Herzigova is appearing in a sequence of ads for Dom Perignon’s new 1996 Rose Vintage by Karl Lagerfeld.

The 35-year-old supermodel, best known for her iconic Wonderbra billboard adverts, living rooms around what looks like a elegant and rich hotel suite in the campaign.

She looks just as fab in the new ads for Dom Perignon, knocking back champagne and posing in ornate undies.

The idea of advertising campaign a simple story about a beautiful, young blonde woman who gets the biggest room in a luxury hotel. There is a bottle of champagne, lots of clothes featured in the ad.

She makes a shopping merriment trip to Dior and back to the hotel, sips even more Dom Perignon while admiring her clothes until she finally invites herself in a young man’s room, right next door to her apartment, ending up in his bed.

Eva is modern, stylish, beautiful and so romantic!
