Lady GaGa is a new style icon whether Madonna likes it or not. Her outfits always cause discussions. Some people admire her style and some say she is absolutely crazy. Sometimes I think she will stop surprising us with her clothes but this time is to wait for long.
GaGa is on a world tour at the moment. And before it had started the Internet buzzed about what she would wear at her concerts. Giorgio Armani gave a few hints but the singer kept silent, because each her performance is a new show.

Here I’ve posted a few photos of her recent outfits, flamboyant and super-extravagant, as usual.
I like this deep violet bodysuit a lot, looks nice!

This huge black flower on her head must be very heavy and uncomfortable to wear. She sacrifies herself for fashion!

The red futuristic outfit looks a bit threatening, reminds me of blood for some reason.

We hear and read about Lady GaGa every day. We see her in all those extravagant outfits she amazes people with. We think she is confident, strong and arrogant. But one of her recent interviews revealed that she has a softer side and it’s all about family thing.
In the new issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, the one for April, Lady GaGA tells readers about her career and the fact one of her exs didn’t believe she would become a star.

On her ex: “I had a boyfriend who told me I’d never succeed, never be nominated for a Grammy, never have a hit song, and that he hoped I’d fail. I said to him, ‘Someday, when we’re not together, you won’t be able to order a cup of coffee at the fucking deli without hearing or seeing me.”
Such a prophetic statement!
On her career: “I ate shit for so long, being told I didn’t fit the mold and that I was ‘too pop’ or ‘too theater’…I’ve always been delusionally ambitious to the point where people don’t understand me.”

The magazine promises to publish much more about GaGa including her words about devoted friends and the love advice that ONLY she would give.

Lady Gaga surprised everyone once again having appeared at Grammy Awards 2010 wearing flamboyant Armani Prive outfits. The singer says she felt “honoured” when Giorgio Armani agreed to dress her for the event.

The two extravagant attires the songbird wore looked fantastic. The lilac and silver space age, solar system-inspired stiff-skirted gown was a real work of art. And the second look attracted attention of all the guests.
Lady GaGa said:
I am honoured to be wearing Armani this evening. The series of pieces Mr. Armani created for me are truly iconic; they represent not only beautiful fashion, but my spirit and essence as an artist. Mr. Armani is a fashion legend, and tonight would not have been the same without his touch, and his wonderful team.”
Armani team were as delighted with the opportunity to work with a “modern fashion phenomenon”.
They said:
We hear Lady Gaga’s music everywhere we go. It is like a soundtrack of our times. In addition to her formidable songwriting skills, she is a modern fashion phenomenon. I am delighted to be creating these outfits on such an important night for her, the Grammys, and I wish her the best of luck.”

It’s cold outside and we all want spring to come as soon as possible with its warmth, sun and greenness. And while there is little brightness out there we can think about things that can enliven our life.
Let’s talk about bracelets now. Bracelets are must-haves in any woman’s wardrobe. And we all have so many of them! But do you know that they initially were worn only by men? Read the history of bracelets here.

Spring-Summer 2010 season sees lots of bracelets worn all over the arm, from wrists to forearms. And the diversity of styles and designs is huge.
Let me show you the bracelets I liked the most in designers’ collections.
John Galliano and Lanvin created very elaborate and chic pieces, with lots of beads, chains and gemstones.

Jean Paul Gaultier preferred plastic to other materials and made very extravagant bracelets which could be worn on forearms and elbows.

Megan Fox isn’t a very good actress but the fact she is beautiful and sexy is undeniable. And this is probably one of the reasons why she was invited to front Emporio Armani Underwear and Jeans Ad Campaigns for Spring-Summer 2010.

We’ve been waiting for long, and now finally there is a chance to see her, gorgeous Megan, in Armani creations.
The Transformers star looks incredibly hot as she poses in pretty lingerie, skimpy mini skirts, trendy jeans and tight shirts.

The images that excite so many men all over the globe are to be featured on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.
The advertising campaigns were shot on location in Los Angeles by acclaimed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Explaining why Megan was chosen to represent the label designer Giorgio Armani said:
Megan is young and sexy and has a lot of spirit. Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans are all about a youthful attitude making her the perfect choice for the collections.”

Hardly had we finished covering Spring-Summer 2010 designer collections when we already have a chance to see Pre-Fall 2010 lines.
My first pick is Giorgio Armani’s range that includes six looks to give us a general idea of Fall-Winter 2010/2011 collection.

The entire feel is classic: perfect tailoring, sleek silhouettes, chic fabrics and rich colors. Armani sees red hue as trendy again together with omnipresent black.

Peaked shoulders, fur and shortened gloves are going to be hot as well as shoes with pointed toes.

I like the images a lot: elegant, exquisite and sophisticated. What do you think?

Giorgio Armani has been nominated for a position of an Italian “senator for life”.
It was Santo Versace, the chairman of the Versace empire, who offered the new role to the fashion designer despite all the talks about the rivalry between the two Italian houses. Santo said it was an absolutely deserved honor.

He explained:
There is nobody that deserves it more or who better represents our country. He has earnestness, creativity and excellence. Armani embodies the beauty of Italy, the country the way we would like to see it represented around the world, and where meritocracy is fully applied.”
Donatella Versace, the creative director of the fashion house, is behind the nomination.
She said it was a brilliant idea, fantastic and that I should do everything I can to promote it,” Santo said.
Giorgio Armani hasn’t commented on his nomination yet. But if he chooses politics there is no way he could keep on working in fashion. So, we might soon lose one of the most talented designers.
At any one time in Italy there can be no more than five “senators for life”, alongside the 315 elected senators.

Chic and sophistication, elegance and arrogance – this is how I would describe the photos for Giorgio Armani autumn/winter ad campaign.

The models gracing the campaign are Raquel Zimmermann and Sean Opry. The photoshoot was done by respected photographers: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott.
