Karolina Kurkova shined on the red carpet in a literal sense. The Czech blonde wore a custom-made mini dress by Mary Katrantzou with a beautiful 3-D effect print. She complemented her statement outfit with pointed-toe pumps.

Hilary Rhoda combined a soft top with a tough bottom as she opted for a Wes Gordon ensemble, which included a black and gold lace blouse with a long trail and skinny leather pants. She styled her look with Kotur box clutch and strappy sandals.

Gisele Bundchen demonstrated her flawless legs as she wore an Anthony Vacarello mini dress with chain mail detailing, which she complemented with spiked sandals, a boxy clutch and oversized chain bracelets.

Jourdan Dunn looked amazing in Topshop floor-length black dress with sheer skirt and rhinestone-embellishment on the waist area, which she accessorized with ankle strap sandals.

Alexa Chung went for a black dress from Erdem Fall 2013 collection, which has a Victorian allure due to the band collar. The sheer waistline and sleeves along with a peek-a-boo texture of the top and skirt make this outfit stand out.

Seems like Anja Rubik became a fan of outfits with chain mail detailing, since it is her second red carpet dress that features this unique element. This time she went for an Anthony Vaccarello red leather mini dress, which she styled with matching court shoes and Chopard jewelry.

Coco Rocha wore a floor-length leopard-printed gown with a 3-d golden appliqué and a daring slit. As for the footwear, she went for wide leg ankle boots in black.

Cara Delevingne looked classy in her floor-sweeping studded Burberry Prorsum dress with an extremely low neckline, which she styled with a white clutch.

Kate Upton embraced an emerald green color trend as she opted for a floor-length Diane von Furstenberg dress complemented with a round-shaped clutch and a chunky white gold bracelet.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stunned on the red carpet wearing a daring Gucci black and gold dress with a meshy top decorated with fringe and a satin mermaid-style skirt. She complemented her dress with Lorraine Schwartz chandelier diamond earrings.

Brooklyn Decker wore an elegant mid-length dress with tapestry embellishment by Peter Pilotto. As for accessories, she went for Sergio Rossi sandals, a Valentino clutch and Lynn Ban earrings.

Doutzen Kroes demonstrated a truly punk look, which consisted of the Theysken’s Theory floor-length dress with a satin trail and a daring slit, which she complemented with Lynn Ban gold cuffs and ankle strap platform sandals.

Anja Rubik

Anja Rubik in ad campaign for her shoe & accessory line with Giuseppe Zanotti

One of the most recent collaboration collections was designed by Anja Rubik and Giuseppe Zanotti. The model and designer shared their ‘skills and ideas’ in Zanotti’s attelier creating a 5-style footwear line and a handbag. The collection turned out beautiful and as it often happens Rubik modeled the entire line herself.

It’s not the first Rubik’s designer endeavor though as she already had an experience creating an accessory collection for Quazi in 2011.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley models her Marks & Spencer Spring/Summer 2013 lingerie collection

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley expressed her desire to design on more than one occasion but thanks to retailer Marks & Spencer and its lingerie department head designer Soozie Jenkinson Whiteley’s dream came true and she already launched her second lingerie line with the store. The line is full of pink sets, robes and babydolls.

The ‘Transformers’ star also said that she sees herself ‘designing’ in five or ten years and wants to have a jewelry, lingerie and cashmere lines. Well, that’s check for one.

Helena Christensen models her lingerie collection for Triumph

Helena Christensen is an original supermodel who has been on numerous magazine covers and in ad campaigns but the model also tried her hand in design when she created a lingerie line for Triumph. The line included some printed pieces, sexy lace tops and black strappy styles.

Now Christensen has got here eyes on a bag line she is set to launch in September with Belgium bag brand Kipling. The collection will include eleven styles and focus on floral print.

Supermodel Iman is a true style and fashion icon so it’s no wonder she has her own fashion line. Launched in 2011 With HSN Globalc Chic is a line of statement jewelry and accessories at affordable prices.

Iman thinks that jewelry and accessories add a lot more to the outfit and thus without them one ‘can never be fully dressed’.

Natalia Vodianova just recently launched her second footwear collection with the Russian shoe brand Centro. The model designed the classic pumps to raise money for her charity Naked Heart Foundation.

The model has also been given an opportunity to design her own lingerie collections at Etam in 2009, which she used quite successfully.

Lily Aldridge models her collection for Velvet by Graham & Spencer

Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge has just recently designed a thirteen-piece collection with Velvet by Graham & Spencer. The model was asked to do a line after working ten years with the brand.

The line consists of dresses, casual tops and a military jacket that can easily be introduced into basic summer wardrobe.

Gisele Bündchen created a whole empire with all the lingerie, footwear, clothing and beauty lines she launched. The world’s richest supermodel has an iPANEMA Gisele Bündchen sandal line, Gisele Bündchen, Brazilian Intimites lingerie brand, and a beauty line under her belt.

But that’s not all she’s done. The model designed a clothing line with a Dutch retailer C&A in 2011 that included dresses, cropped blazers and other items.

Sophie Dahl models her own collection for Brora

Sophie Dahl is another model who tried her hand in design. She created a line with a cashmere brand Brora, which consists of thirteen pieces like a a tea dress, jumper, cardigan, camisole, cigarette pants and others.

Besides her modeling career Dahl has written for fashion magazines like US and UK Vogues, Harpers Bazaar, and such editorials like The Saturday Times, The Observer and The Guardian.

Kate Moss

Kate Moss for Topshop Final Collection, Fall 2010

Kate Moss has been collaborating with Topshop for three years producing 14 collections in total from 2007 to 2010. Her lines included numerous minidresses and jackets. She released her last collection in 2010 along with Kate Iconic, a capsule line of her most popular designs.

Moss’ designs reflected the models’ style – a mix of grunge and boho chic – but there were also collections in nontypical for model floral prints and more feminine styles.

Gisele Bundchen stars in David Yurman’s Fall 2012 ad campaign promoting the brand’s latest collection of luxurious jewelry. Captured by Peter Lindbergh Gisele models chain and pearl necklaces, pendants, rings and earrings, bracelets and a watch.

The black and white campaign photographs show Gisele wearing various pieces of jewelry while sporting casual denim and white tees. Also a star of the campaign a black horse that also appears in the video.

In the mentioned vid the model walks the beach showcasing the collection’s pieces while the water is all the waves and the wind is swaying the wheat ears.

The campaign is dreamy and beautiful as are the jewelry pieces. Some of them come with stones while others come sleek or in an interesting design.

Gisele Bundchen Included Into Forbes’ list of 100 Most Powerful Women

Gisele Bundchen is not the only one from the fashion industry who was included into the Forbes’ list of 100 Most Powerful Women. While the supermodel is on the 83th position, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour celebrates her 52d place. Miuccia Prada is on the 67th position and Diane von Furstenberg occupies an honorary 33th place.

Michelle Obama, to compare, is on the 6th position and Lady Gaga, who is the youngest in the Forbes’ list of 100 Most Powerful Women, is the 12th. Angela Merkel tops the list.

Gisele Bundchen Is Pregnant With Her Second Child

Gisele Bundchen, who is married to a football star Tom Brady, hasn’t confirmed the rumor yet but people say she has told the happy news to her close friend and Givenchy designer Ricardo Tisci when he was dressing her up for the 2012 Met Ball. Besides, some assistants, who helped Gisele change outfits at a modeling event in Brazil, say they ‘noticed unspecified changes to the model’s figure’.

Gisele is believed to be two month pregnant and is waiting for her third month to reveal the news to the public. If the rumor proves to be true, this will be the second child to the supermodel, who also has a son Benjamin born in 2009, and the third child for her husband who has a four-year-old son Jack with his ex-wife Bridget Moynahan.

Excess skin after pregnancy is not an issue any longer as tummy tuck surgery is a quick solution.

Duda Bundchen (who is, by the way, totally adorable) is reported to have designed a collection of childrenswear for the Brazilian brand Brandili Mundi. Last year the girl was chosen to represent the brand and this year she has a range of clothing for her peers to buy.

The collection aptly named Duda Bundchen will hit stores in July. Duda is said to make sort of contribution to the designs (of course she didn’t make sketches or discussed fabrics). Marketing director Germano Costa explained to Forbes what actually Duda did to make the range possible:

She told us about her preferences on prints, cuts and details, and based on the briefing we received from her we came up with a collaborative collection. The pieces were all approved by Duda, whose romantic inspiration will no doubt catch girls’ eyes.”

As you already know Gisele Bundchen is the face of Versace Spring 2012 collection. She has done numerous photos to promote the clothes by the reputable brand. And she did that so good that Donatella Versace decided to use her for her Versace Jeans campaign as well.

Posing alone and together with a handsome male model Ryan Barrett Gisele Bundchen looks sexy and gorgeous. On one of the photographs the Brazilian beauty leans against a gigantic tree wearing just a pair of jeans and a denim jacket.

Marc Jacobs, who once had a chance to play himself in a 2007 documentary Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton, is reported to get a real job as an actor. No details have been revealed so far but the designer confirms his new venture:

I got cast in a role in a movie. They’re filming next week and I’m excited. I get to play a character that’s not myself at all.”

New couple has been announced inside Gucci brand – Frida Giannini and Gucci CEO Patrizio di Marco. The two have revealed that they’ve been a couple for over two years. They are said to get romantically involved on a trip to China. Both were divorced at that time. Now, when the both understand how strong their feelings are di Marco and Giannini discussed the matter with François-Henri Pinault, the chief executive of PPR, which owns Gucci. They mentioned they were ready to leave Gucci if required, but Pinault “was very supportive.”

Pinault commented:

If something changed and one left, well, we would deal with that. . . . This is a family business – it was started by my father, and I know how that can feel and seem to the outside world, but I also know how much that makes you be strict with yourself. And I knew them, so I knew if anything this would make them more demanding with themselves.”

Gisele Bundchen (See Gisele’s picture gallery) is said to be the new face of Givenchy. She might have already shot the brand’s Spring/ Summer 2012 campaign along with male model Noah Mills in Jamaica. If the rumor is true the campaign will be the first since Fall 2007 that hasn’t featured Riccardo Tisci’s close friend and muse Mariacarla Boscono. Gisele used to represent Givenchy in 2000 when Alexander McQueen was the designer of the brand.
