She poses for popular issues and I think the pictures on all magazines are great.

She graces for British magazine December 2008.

The photo theme is very nice.

She chats about love with her boyfriend Lou, girl crushes, meeting Becks and fashion choices. Some highlights:

On admitting to a girl crush on her:

It’s very flattering. She came to one of my gigs in LA. I thought she was really funny and really lovely.”

My mother is a writer and my dad’s an actor. But, no, they didn’t. I think they would have been happier if I hadn’t done the same thing as them.

I think they would have been over the moon about a career that has certain securities that you certainly don’t get if you’re an actress. Nobody knows whether you’re going to do well or not.

Pretty comfortable. I certainly wouldn’t do it if I wasn’t…. I detest unnecessary nudity and what it says about women in society. I think you see a lot of films where, Oh, yes, the woman gets her tits out again and runs around naked for no reason. And you kind of go, Ugh, do we have to?

Popular , and show you can be super hot at any age in the October 2008 cover of magazine.

Glamour October 2008

Rachel, 27, Ali, 32, and Diane, 43, are the three cover persons from three different decades showing three ways to love the skin you’re in now. Here a snippet of ’s  interview, where she’s asked about her “H” necklace:

Let’s talk about the presidential election. It’s interesting, the way that young people seem captivated in a way they haven’t been in a while. Thank God! It’s very exciting. I’m really happy that there’s so much heat around this election, because there needs to be. Right now, we need a change. I campaigned for Kerry [four years ago], and I supported Hillary.

What was it about her? Did you feel drawn to her because she’s a woman? Well, I definitely like that idea. I mean, there’s nothing more empowering than to know that I was alive to see [the possibility of] the first woman president. I think our country needs that femininity, you know? Still, I hope Obama wins.

And what’s next for you? You seem to be between acting gigs right now. Does the world feel wide open? Definitely. I’d love to do a musical. I’d love to do comedies…. I know what I want to do, but it’s just not as detailed as I’d probably like it to be.

I have a few dating questions, even though I can tell you’re going to scrunch up your nose. Whose initial is that hanging around your neck, which you very cleverly tucked inside your dress? Well, I’ ll let you make your own assumption.

It’s an H. It is an H. And I’m going to turn red!

A bodacious body, brown hair and an beautiful face, and you get one fine woman. This is certainly the case with . Her corset-wearing character Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean was one of the fashion highlights of summer 2003. In fact, she’s so fine.

Sexy is on the cover of American ’s September 2008 issue: 798 Pages of Brilliant Fall Fashion.

Keira Knightley Vogue September 2008

Anna Wintour chose for the cover, which has been shot by Mario Testino.
Keira still looks like a spoiled little girl playing skeletron before our eyes.
The cover title reads that Keira is a “fashion star, pirate queen, history’s sexiest Duchess.” Her new film The Duchess (about Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was Princess Diana’s great-great-great-whatever, and the of her day) actually opens in the UK on September 5 2008 and in limited release in the USA on September 19.

Some more extracts from interview for :

On her own style:

My style has changed because I didn’t have any style.”

On buying designer clothing:

I think as you get more well known, more designers lend you dresses. But you always give them back like Cinderella because you shouldn’t be buying them; £20,000 for one night?! As far as expensive stuff goes , I’m not good at shopping - I’m better at cheap stuff.”

Keira Knightley UK Glamour mag September 2008

On her friendships with other women:

I don’t think I’m very good at figuring out female friendships. I think they’re quite tricky to navigate. I have a lot of friends who are guys and I find that manipulation and jealousy don’t come into it as much, whereas those things can happen easily between women.”

On :

I love Sienna. I think she is a wonderful actress. But we’ve been like two ships in the passing night recently. I think that’s what’s lovely but also sad about acting. You get incredibly close to people for that moment and as soon as it’s over you don’t see each other. You’re away from home, in this case Wales. It’s a very intense relationship for a while, and then it’s not anymore.”

On her first singing audition for the remake of My Fair Lady:

I told him [producer, Cameron Mackintosh] that [getting drunk] would be the only way I could sing in front of everyone.”
