For the new season, you should be looking for interesting cut-outs – the hot Fashion Trend SPRING/ SUMMER 2010. Cut-outs in your ensemble add a subtle sexiness to your look, emitting taste and class, and leaving something to the imagination. This trend can be seen on all items fashionable, from dresses to shirts to pants to leggings and even shoes. More for the edgy fashionista, the trend has been sported on runways across the globe and most recently for Spring/Summer 2010.

Designer Zac Posen incorporated the trend into a stunning yellow mini dress that was displayed on his runway at Mercedes-Benz NYC Fashion Week. At first glance, this mini is adorable, but once the cut-outs on each side are noticed it suddenly turns cute into sultry.
In London, Basso & Brooke added the cut-out trend to their patterned pieces, making each piece extremely noteworthy. These little cuts into the fabric, showing only a sliver of skin along the chest area, are perfect for those who don’t want to show bits of their bust area.

Gucci is a brand that everybody knows, even those who are far from fashion world. That’s why when we say ‘Gucci watch’ each of us has a clear picture in mind. We are aware of what Gucci watches look like – chic, classy and sophisticated.

The campaign for Spring-Summer 2010 featuring legendary Veruschka and Peter Sellers looks interesting. The scenes of life from far 60s were taken to our times and timeless pieses are shown in context of modernity.

“The images featured in this campaign are some of my favorites from the Gucci archive,” said creative director Frida Giannini. “They perfectly illustrate not only the glamour of Gucci’s past and the many style icons who were naturally drawn to the house, but also show how this heritage can be relevant today.”

One of the most awaited glam events – the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards – was held yesterday, on January 31, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
While some were burning with anticipation of who was to win, others, including me, were looking forward to seeing fashion choices of the evening. And, sincerely speaking, we were not disappointed!

Lots of beautifully dressed ladies arrived to the event and sashayed on the red carpet showing off themselves.

The outfit I liked the most was worn by eccentric Lady GaGa. Custom-made Giorgio Armani Prive gown looked fabulous! I really mean it. I loved the dress! Of course it was far from ordinary but the color was nice and the design wasn’t aggressive. Rather it brought some unexpected femininity to GaGa’a look, something that she usually misses. The shoes were shocking though. They looked great but were hardly safe to wear.

Jennifer Lopez looked stunning in an unusual silver-white gown, white peep-toe shoes and absolutely sumptuous bracelets!

Lea Michele glammed up the red carpet sporting a sexy black one-shoulder dress with a feathered hemline and matching black heels.

Next comes gorgeous Marisa Miller in a snowy white vintage Gucci mini-dress and black Yves Saint Laurent pumps. The supermodel looked perfect! I’ve got one question though, why does she always choose short white dresses for red carpet events?

It’s always difficult to work up a reputation if you’ve come to a company after someone very proffessional. This is the problem Frida Giannini is experiencing now. She does need to do something really important to step out of her predecessor Tom Ford’s shadow.

One of the ventures Frida is planning now is to launch a couture line for those rich and eccentric.
A source said:
If the brand extension does happen, Gucci couture isn’t expected to show on the runway, but instead will be presented on an appointment-only basis.”
Frida, who had initially been employed to design accessories, was chosen as the Creative Director of the women’s ready-to-wear range when Tom Ford left the company.
Frida has always done her best with her work at Gucci. She has opened a pop-up trainer store, designing a limited edition charity T-shirt and also has told about her desire to launch a Gucci cosmetics line.
We hope that she will achieve her goals!

Jennifer Lopez looks gorgeous on the cover of Elle February 2010 issue. She has become even curvier than before after her twins arrived.

The Louboutins singer wears lots of beautiful designer clothing including that fabulous Gucci silver dress and creations from Mochino, Dolce&Gabbana, Armani, Prada, Stella McCartney, etc.
The magazine includes not only hot pictures of the songbird but also interview about her career, life and motherhood experience.

Jennifer says being a mother is fantastic but it hasn’t changed her a lot:
To a certain extent, having children did change me, but it made me want to look at the places that I wasn’t great and learn to love myself.”

Now when the life has become quieter and paparazzi stopped chasing her the singer feels much more relieved:
It’s a business. Once they stop making money of you they stop coming around.”

It’s cold outside and we all want spring to come as soon as possible with its warmth, sun and greenness. And while there is little brightness out there we can think about things that can enliven our life.
Let’s talk about bracelets now. Bracelets are must-haves in any woman’s wardrobe. And we all have so many of them! But do you know that they initially were worn only by men? Read the history of bracelets here.

Spring-Summer 2010 season sees lots of bracelets worn all over the arm, from wrists to forearms. And the diversity of styles and designs is huge.
Let me show you the bracelets I liked the most in designers’ collections.
John Galliano and Lanvin created very elaborate and chic pieces, with lots of beads, chains and gemstones.

Jean Paul Gaultier preferred plastic to other materials and made very extravagant bracelets which could be worn on forearms and elbows.

Natasha and Ryan are wearing luxurious Gucci creations and accessories richly complement the looks.

What I like best is Gucci shoes at these photos. They are so glamorous, so stylish! But the heels can be too high for an average woman to wear.
