Haiti problem has provoked compassion in many people and they try to help in lots of possible ways – from direct donations to selling expensive items to benefit the sufferers.

Scarlett Johansson couldn’t just watch the people living in poverty. She took an effort to raise money for those in need. The actress has designed a stylish handbag that is to sell in Mango stores soon.
The ‘Iron Man’ star has sketched designs for an ivory bag with a map print to boost relief funds for the earthquake-stricken nation through global charity Oxfam.
She said:
I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Mango to promote conscious consumerism and to benefit Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fun. By purchasing this bag, which I specially designed, you are helping to provide life saving assistance like clean water to the people of Haiti.”
The 25-year-old’s creation also contains the words: “supporting the people of Haiti, designed by Scarlett Johansson.”
The bag won’t be very pricey – just $29.90 for an item. You’ll be able to purchase it starting from March.
As you already know Scarlett isn’t the only celebrity who uses her fashion skills to help the Caribbean nation. Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson also sell clothes to help the charity fundraising.

Sandra Bullock is one of those who I respect a lot. She is super-talented, hardworking, beautiful, but she is also very generous. And what makes me think of her even better, she never shows off donating to charity.

As you might have heard she’s given $1 million to Haiti relief after the nation suffered the terrible earthquake this month. And now again she has teamed up with luxury fashion brand Coach to donate profits from her favorite handbags to charity.
A percentage of proceeds from her two favorite Coach bags, including the Madison Leather Hippie and the Kristin Leather Tote, will go to the Beauty Bus Foundation, which is a California-based non-profit group dedicated to improving the quality of life for the terminally ill.
Sandra has been praised by Beauty Bus Co-founder and President Alicia Liotta for her “wonderful support”.
Liotta told People:
The project was put together by Coach and Sandra. It was an incredible surprise and is a gift to the Beauty Bus Foundation.”
I love the fact she donates not only to big and popular organisations, but small an dunknown too. I wouldn’t be surprised to know she has helped lots of times but we know nothing about it. Good luck, Sandra!

We all know the power of accessories. And if the ones are strong and vibrant they can change the whole look of yours.
Kenzo collection of accessories for winter 2010 is a very special one. It includes unusual handbags made of fur, suede and leather, embellished with sequins and adorned with clips and rivents. The technique of patchwork is used beautifully too. The colors are bright and very fresh and youthful.

Belts come in ordinary designs but there are some eccentric ones as well. I just love those with fur on buckles!

Shoes are nice but seem to be too dangerous to walk in. The platforms are huge and don’t look steady enough. The fur trimming looks chic.

Hats are very warm and stylish, but you can’t wear them with your classic coat, of course.

The precious pieces are embellished with sparkling gemstones of various colors, from vibrant red to luxurious golden.

All bags come with chains to be worn on shoulders but they can go as clutches as well. Such little ones we often see in hands of our favorite celebrities.

Prada is always associated with luxury and sophistication and the label does really make things that are chic and fabulous. But something must have happened with the stylist as the new Spring-Summer 2010 ad campaign focuses more on bright orange lipstick and green sunglasses rather than clothes and accessories created by the brand’s designers.

Rasa Zukauskaite, a young and little known Lithuanian model, was chosen to represent the label this coming fashion season.

The girl is very pretty and her appeal makes the ad look nice. Some glamour is added by clothing and handbags but anyway attention is attracted to the face, something that shouldn’t be too much important in an ad like this.

It is becoming popular to say your offspring gives you fashion advice. What is it? Do we lose the sense of style or the younger know better?
Kate Moss has recenly confessed she listens to her seven-year-old daughter’s advice on choosing clothes. The British supermodel cliams Lila Grace already knows about fashion!

She told Company magazine:
Lila’s already got a great handbag collection! She’s got a mirrored Fendi bag and she’ll say things like, ‘I’m not going to wear that anymore’. She knows what she likes and I can’t force her to wear anything she doesn’t want to, which is annoying sometimes. She loves clothes. She’s got really good style, as well.”
The two usually go shopping together and Lila tells what she likes on her model mummy and what looks bad on her.
Kate says:
I rarely go shopping without her now. She tells me what she doesn’t like or she’ll say ‘Mummy, you look nice,’ or ‘That dress is amazing!’ She’s got it.”
Kate Moss isn’t the only celebrity to take style advice from her child. Another British star, Victoria Beckham, says her seven-year-old son Romeo loves helping her out with her fashion range.

Lulu Guinness is famous for her flamboyant handbag designs. I guess many of you wonder where these ideas come from. But the designer isn’t sure of that herself.

She commented:
I was born with endless creative ideas. I was born not to want to be like everyone else. Who knows where my ideas come from. I think my best ideas come from the bath and driving. It’s not a eureka moment.”
Lulu said it was really difficult for her to find a way to enter the fashion industry.
She explained:
I always wanted to be part of the fashion business but could never see how to get there. There was just this big void. Then it was just trial and error.”
But she knew exactly what she wanted:
I had an idea. I’d been working in video production but still wanted to be in fashion.”
The woman’s first steps in designing were unsuccessful. She tried to focus on customising a Filofax, but buyers told her to find her own style in her creations.
Lulu said:
I wanted to take the Filofax and make it into a feminine briefcase – with bright lining. Colour was radical in handbag design at the time. When I showed buyers, they said ‘Why don’t you design bags like you dress. Design a bag like you’d carry, then we’ll buy.’ “
And she did! And now we can enjoy her genuine creations!

Chloe collection of accessories for Fall-Winter 2009/2010 includes beautiful and versatile pieces which will long be fashionable.

Handbags are the most attractive in the range. They are made of leather, including trendy reptile one, and suede. Colors are all shades of brown, beige, grey and black. Bags come in a variety of sizes: from small pretty clutches to classic average-sized office-style items. There is a number of purses too, but they aren’t as nice as hanbags.

The shoe line isn’t very diverse. Wedged booties look good. As for suede sandals – I don’t like them at all.

The range also includes sunglasses and jewelry. Jewelry is exquisite and comes with a compamy logo. Sunglasses seem to me very similar to the ones in the previous line.

We have recently admired Spring-Summer 2009 collections of Pura Lopez shoes. And now I’m glad to show you the Fall-Winter ones. What is good is that we have a chance to see a few bags, too.

The shoes featured in the line are both for everyday wear and special occasions. Those for evenings out look fabulous. I especially like the dark violet pair with pretty bows at the back.

High boots and ankle boots presented in the collection look nice and comfortable. Some are made of leather while others come in chic suede.

Bag can complement the attire or be the central point of your look.
Choosing a bag is not an easy thing especially if you are a girl that likes surprising people.

Here are pictures of the most amazing and unusual bags I’ve ever seen.
I’m not saying they are the most perfect or sophisticated.
They are just works of art that transform your whole image into something special and noticable.

If you wear such a bag be ready that people will turn round to look at you more than once!
