The collaboration with the Swiss brand Charles Vögele has proved to be fruitful for it is their third collection under Biaggini Violett label. The collection looks great and you can easily put an effortless casual chic outfit together. There are dresses, blazers, and coats as well as blouses and turtlenecks in the collection that one can wear to the office or run errands.

Esprit has got itself a world’s highest paying model Gisele Bundchen, H&M’s former executives Jörgen Andersson and Jan Nord, a British fashion photographer David Sims, and a stylist Camille Bidault-Waddington to make an Iconic Styles campaign that would take the brand onto another level. Gisele Bundchen has been recently announced the face of the brand and now the campaign shots have been revealed in which Gisele wears effortless casual outfits.

Esprit is known for making casual clothes and Iconic Styles collection is not very different from what they did. The campaign demonstrates man-tailored coats, leather jackets, button shirts and pants. The pieces are versatile and can be put into a variety of outfits.

Gisele Bundchen wears, for example, brown cropped leather pants with a blue button shirt and a brown men-style coat while the outfit is completed with a pair of sports shoes. The same coat can be seen with another outfit of black turtleneck and a floral pattern black skirt. Menswear trend is a big part of Esprit Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection. Footwear, trousers and outerwear is simple, showing menswear features, fabrics and colors.

Esprit is also known for making denim clothes so there is jeans that can be worn with striped tank and a brown leather jacket. The collection also includes shorts that the stylist paired with the same brown jacket and a blue striped button shirt. Gisele looks natural and relaxed in the shots and the outfits look great on her. I got a thing for plaid shirts and men-tailored trousers. Great stuff.

Lanvin maybe a luxurious fashion house but they know how to have fun when it comes to presentation. With redheaded Raquel Zimmermann and Karen Elson on board the brand shot a funny Fall/Winter 2011/2012 ad campaign. In the shots models seem like they’re dancing and well, they are. Their dancing moves make us smile and the fact they are wearing Lanvin luxurious dresses and jewelry makes it even better.

The two redheads dance to the song of Pitbull “I know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” while being shot by Steven Meisel in some luxurious apartment room. Lowell Tautchin and Milo Spijkers clad in 1930s style wide brim hats and velvet jackets also do the funny dance.

Lanvin Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collections of both menswear and womenswear include sharp stylish outerwear, dresses, suits, and other clothes items. Womenswear collection consists of cocktail dresses decorated with oversize brooches and voluminous details. The shapes are lush but fabrics are flowing. The voluminous shoulders and skirts contrast with sharp lines in clothes and footwear. The dark colors and faded prints go along bright pops of red, fuchsia, and yellow.

Menswear collection also features wide brim hats, shades of gray, loose-fitting trousers and velvet jackets, streamlined outerwear and suits. The black and gray prevail in the collection but the browns, yellow and deep red also appear in the menswear.

The ad campaign is chic and funny, the models demonstrate some of the outfits from both collections. Lanvin’s creative director Alber Elbaz has also appeared in the video advert wearing one of the menswear collection’s outfits dancing with the male models and sort of pushing them back.

Reese Witherspoon is a new face of Lindex, Swedish clothing label and their Fall/Winter 2011/2012 campaign called “California Denim”. Witherspoon has already shot the campaign where she shows off skinny jeans, denim button shirts, hats, cardigans,bags, scarves, and faux fur jackets. Lindex collection is casual-made-chic with its clinging jeans and loose-fitting sweaters and cardigans. Button shirts with ruffled collar also add dressy touch to the casual style and platform booties add flare to the collection.

Reese Witherspoon looks great in Lindex outfits and says that Lindex wear suits her pesonal style in the behind-the-scenes video:

I have always loved denim and knitted garments that can be mixed and matched. Lindex’s fashion suits my style perfectly and I am very pleased to be a model for the new collection.

My personal style described in three words would probably be casual, simple and lots of color.

Reese Witherspoon has also shared a secret about fashion:

The secret about fashion that I think every woman should know is … learn what looks good on you.

It might seem natural to you but many people are so blinded by trends and fashion they forget about the fit, proportions, figure types, and shapes. All these things should be taken into consideration. If you are not sure about whether or not certain clothes looks good on you try to take a picture of yourself in a good (natural) lighting. You’ll see the how it sits on you and will be able to judge better if you should wear it or not.

Lindex Fall/Winter 2011/2012 “California Denim” collection is great. It looks almost cozy but you can still run errands in these outfits while looking stylish. My favorite outfit from the campaign is red oversized sweater and skinny jeans accessorized with a red beret and a wine red suede fringe bag.

The upcoming season is almost here so we are to tell all about men fashion trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012.The designers have much to offer so men’s fall fashion is very rich in terms of colors, styles, textures, and fabrics. You will see some trends continuing like military fashion, and many new ones that will diversify your style.

Military trend goes on: Military style coats and jackets as well as accessories have been all over the runway and the trend is continuing since the last year. Such designers and brands as Salvatore Ferragamo, Alexander McQueen, and Versace showed off some some very stylish military jackets and outerwear. Alexander McQueen outerwear is heavily influenced by military fashion.

Preppy fashion adds a splash of color: Preppy fashion is a big trend this fall. If you like casual style and comfortable clothes in bright hues then you might find plenty of designs in the collections of Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, Junya Watanabe, D&G, Acne, and Etro.

Every shade of gray: Gray is classic. It can be worn with black and white as well as mixed with bolder colors. Whether you’re sporting a casual look or a business suit, gray color is one of the major trends for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. Michael Kors, Dior Homme, Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, and Bogetta Veneta have used gray in suits, outerwear and other clothing.

Neutral tones with splashes of bold hues: Many designers have went for neutral tones for their Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collections but presented them with pops of bolder hues to keep it interesting. Canali, Salvatore Ferragamo, Etro, and Michael Kors have shown off some clothes in light brown hues, light gray tones, and even pure white. Accessorize the neutral suit with a bold red or teal scarf.

Stylish suits and workwear: The suits for Fall/Winter 2011/2012 feature single and double-breasted jackets, pleated trousers and bold pocket square. Suits have been seen at Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Versace, Canali, Michael Kors, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Workwear and overalls have been made stylish as seen at G-Star, Buckler, Hermes, and Marni. Featured in leather and with outward pockets the overalls look fresh and fashionable.

Luxurious fabrics: Velvet is continuing as a trend alongside such luxurious fabrics as cashmere, fur, leather, and calfskin. These and other luxe fabrics have been all over runway. Velvet jackets, colored leather, fur coats and calfskin outerwear can be seen at Salvatore Ferragamo, Versace, Etro, and others.

Chunky knit and Nordic sweaters: Chunky knit sweaters in bold colors as well as the sweaters with Nordic motifs are big this season. They are warm and yet bright and can be found at Missoni, Junya Watanabe, Versace, and Hermes. By the way, bright and neutral turtlenecks also trend this season.

Loose-tailored clothes: Some loose-tailoring is also a big trend for Fall/Winter 2011/2012. From loose-fitting overalls and trousers to oversize loose coats and jackets you get to enjoy some freedom of motion alongside some form-fitting suits.

Some minor trends include various prints as seen at Dolce & Gabbana and Etro fashion shows, hats that have been seen at many shows including that of Dior Homme, Lanvin, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Dsquared2. Creased cuffed trousers are also among Fall/Winter 2011/2012 trends as well as the external pockets and scarves winded round the neck. If you like prints there are lots of swirling prints in Etro Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection as well as plaid can be found in collections by many designers and brands and, of course, Burberry Prorsum.

Balmain Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection is almost too shiny with all those glitzy pants, dazzling jackets, and mirror-encrusted dresses. Though Balmain is known for its dazzling ready-to-wear the collection has too much of glitter and needs a bit more solid texture to nicely balance out all the sparkling stuff. There are some basic items though but these are too made of glossy fabric. Nevertheless there are some great pieces in Balmain Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection I want to show you.

Sweater glitzy dresses are great party wear. They feature interesting patterns, high square and boat necks. One such particular dress features only one sleeve and a strap apart from it the dresses look lovely and I especially like the mirror-encrusted silver dress featured in Vogue on Lea Michele and Charlotte Casiraghi.

Balmain blouses glitzy and not also catch attention with their both classy and chic designs. Plain white tops and skinny pants look great in combination with glittery pants, jackets, and vests. Speaking of jackets no matter the glitter madness some of them look quite stylish and bold.

I have mixed feeling about side slit tops though. I guess they’d make pretty good party wear combined with those skinny pants and bold jackets. There are also cuffed capri pants that go well with knee-high boots , tight-fitting jumpsuits, which I’m not fan of, and fur shoulder pads in Balmain Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection. All in all the collection is not too bad, there are some really eye catchy pieces that can be used for putting some great outfits together.

Alberta Ferretti is a great designer when it comes to evening gowns but her daywear is no less interesting. Ferretti’s Fall/Winter 2011/2012 RTW is fabulous, it’s vibrant, sophisticated, and colorful. The collection consists of cocktail dresses, sixties-inspired pant suits, and outerwear. Sure there are couple of evening dresses detailed with crystals, floral lace, and embroidery. The one of the trends Alberta Ferretti heavily relied on was the sixties fashion. You can see it vibrant abstract prints, collarless coats, shift dresses, long high neck tunics, and bell bottoms.

Alberta Ferretti’s Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection is really going to jazz up your fall with its vibrant hues of red, purple, teal, salmon, glitzy black, and metallic gray. Some pieces feature a thunder bolt-kind-of print that slashes the item into a multi-toned bold fashion statement. The cracked foil print can also be seen in a number of coats and skirts that are paired with knee-length velvet boots that also come in vibrant colors.

Even the black in this collection shines. Black glitzy fabric can be seen in tops, jacket and pant ensemble, and a full-length coat. Metallic silver also comes in silk, cracked foil print, and shiny wool bejeweled with crystals. Cocktail dresses in the collection come in black, salmon, and turquoise. Some feature beautiful draping, while others are decorated with embroidery, crystals, ruffles, and lace.

The outerwear comes in black and colored fur, the vibrant coats come with high neck, oversize pockets, and drop waist belt. The evening gowns are beautiful and come in trendy sheer fabrics of black, peach, light blue, and blue gray. These also feature embroidery, crystals, lace, and draping.

Rodarte Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection that they showcased during the Fashion Week feature amazing picturesque prints of wheat fields at the hems of beautiful maxi silk dresses. These silky creations in light blue and yellow are simply fascinating but so is the collection itself. Inspired by the movie Days of Heaven set on the farm explain the prairie motifs that can be seen throughout the whole collection that also includes beautiful lace, full skirts, and embellished tulle.

Rodarte Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection is light with rare pops of black, deep blue, and red. Beside the graphic picturesque wheat field prints there are geometric patterns, abstract and floral prints that are mixed together in the looks. The shapes are also geometric yet feminine and mostly flattering. Shiny and glitzy pieces add glamor to the farm-inspired wear.

Coats, skirts, maxi and midi dresses, high waist cropped pants with a crease as well as geometric tops look romantic yet modern and edgy. The outerwear in Rodarte Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection is perfect. Full-length coats that define waist and arms look beautiful and some are embroidered at the hem. Paired with long flowing dresses trimmed with lace and tulle the coats make you look very feminine and you figure streamlined. Some outfits also include collars that mimic the lapels in the tops or coats.

Amongst the warm clothes there can be seen chunky knit sweaters that mimic the geometric patterns and come with high waist pants or full midi skirts. The jackets feature triangle shoulders and V-necks or tails and are also paired with full skirts. The footwear comes in black, red, and blue leather and suede. Native American-style boots are decorated with beads and also come in pony hair with leather parts.

Olivia Wilde is very beautiful and a good actress too. Her latest movie has put her in line with such big actors as Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig. While the cast has been busy promoting Cowboys & Aliens Olivia Wilde has taken her chance to shine on the red carpet changing outfits and looking fab. The one of those outfits just really stands out from them all – Tom Ford’s LBD. Why does it stand out? It’s fresh. It’s classic, conventional even but the design is sharp featuring a V-shaped neck and overstitched cups and hip-defining pockets.

What I like about this dress is that it’s both elegant yet modern. It’s demure yet sharp and really suits Olivia Wilde here who has completed her LBD outfit with Brian Atwood lacquered black shoes and Carrera y Carrera jewelry – golden oversize ring and a thin bracelet and red nail polish. But probably one of this outfit’s most eye-catchy details is a long ponytail divided by multiple voluminous sections which is a great twist to the sophisticated yet modernized style of Tom Ford’s LBD. For the makeup part Olivia Wilde went for a cat eyeliner and light rosy lips.

Tom Ford’s Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection, which includes this same dress also in scarlet velvet has several very eye catchy and sophisticated cocktail dresses in black and white guipure, purple and bronze metallic lace, black and scarlet velvet, and tulle satin. Most cocktail dresses in the collection end just below or at the knee and can be paired with fur that’s in vogue this fall.

Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2011-2012 collection also features several maxi evening dresses decorated with hand-painted satin, Chantilly lace, and broken mirror. The designs also come in underwear-as-outerwear style featuring black floral lace, tulle and silk georgette. Collection also consists of jackets, boleros, pants, pencil skirts and delicate blouses.
