Jean Paul Gaultier reinvented himself again for his Autumn/ Winter 2010/ 2011 collection. The entire range was a bright mass of chic outfits and flamboyant accessories. Different cultures and various fashion taditions were all mixed up together on one runway, but they didn’t seem to collide, rather they looked like complementary to each other.

Garments were sumptuous and very wearable – everything from eccentric trench coats and classy jackets to thigh-high woolen socks and Marocco-style shoes.

Headpieces looked exrtaordinary and would hardly be good for real life but they looked really overwhelming. Weird turbans and huge ushanka-hats, vibrant kerchiefs and simple items with pompoms – all looked fantastic!

For the new season, you should be looking for interesting cut-outs – the hot Fashion Trend SPRING/ SUMMER 2010. Cut-outs in your ensemble add a subtle sexiness to your look, emitting taste and class, and leaving something to the imagination. This trend can be seen on all items fashionable, from dresses to shirts to pants to leggings and even shoes. More for the edgy fashionista, the trend has been sported on runways across the globe and most recently for Spring/Summer 2010.

Designer Zac Posen incorporated the trend into a stunning yellow mini dress that was displayed on his runway at Mercedes-Benz NYC Fashion Week. At first glance, this mini is adorable, but once the cut-outs on each side are noticed it suddenly turns cute into sultry.
In London, Basso & Brooke added the cut-out trend to their patterned pieces, making each piece extremely noteworthy. These little cuts into the fabric, showing only a sliver of skin along the chest area, are perfect for those who don’t want to show bits of their bust area.

Spring is here and of course you want to know what styles of shoes are most fashionable in the new season.

As usual some trends from the previous season stay with us for another couple of months and you can wear them with dignity. And there are a few new ones that will complement our spring wardrobe.

Platform sandals
If you are a real fashionista this trend just needs to be in your wardrobe as almost every designer paid attention to it and created truly nice pieces for us to wear. They are perfect for many reasons. First, they are beautiful. They come in bright hues and original designs, from cage look to the one providing lots of coverage. Second, they are more comfortable to wear than ordinary heels. And third, they are super-glamorous and some celebrities have already been spotted wearing those.

Mary Janes
These shoes are ideal for office and the girls who simply love elegant footwear. The shoes come in various colors and can be very strict or exremely fresh and colorful. What you choose depends on you! Peep-toe Mary Janes have returned too!

Sky-high Heels
Despite all the arguments this type of shoes will always exist as there are plenty of women who are ready to suffer bunions and feet deformations to look stylish like Posh. Many brands presented high stilettos in their ranges, from classic Burberry to rock-chic DSquared2.

I love designer things! I love them for high quality, unique design and exclusiveness. And this is not only about clothes, it’s about everything, even computer gadgets.
This Jean Paul Gaultier USB key is something really worth having! First because USB stick is something you always need, second because it looks like JP Gaultier legendary perfume, and the third, the most important, it smells like the above-mentioned fragrance too!

When you plug Gaultier’s Le Male USB Key you feel the mythical scent slowly filling up the air. This magical thing is still available and you can grab it and tell everyone you have it!

Haute Couture is always extravagant and bizarre but this Jean Paul Galtier collection can be also characterized as military-chic, military in a good way. The whole range has been insipred by Montezuma and the Aztecs, and there is a bit from a more modern cyborg style.

Warrior plating in combination with palm leaves looks interesting though a little weird. Palm leaves are incorporated into lots of pieces starting from dresses to bags and headwear. Feathers and stones give additional exotic feel to the line.

Hats are elaborate and luxurious. And those plaits are everywhere in the most strange forms.

I love the collection. It looks fantastic! The pity is that the majority of these outfits will never be worn.

It’s cold outside and we all want spring to come as soon as possible with its warmth, sun and greenness. And while there is little brightness out there we can think about things that can enliven our life.
Let’s talk about bracelets now. Bracelets are must-haves in any woman’s wardrobe. And we all have so many of them! But do you know that they initially were worn only by men? Read the history of bracelets here.

Spring-Summer 2010 season sees lots of bracelets worn all over the arm, from wrists to forearms. And the diversity of styles and designs is huge.
Let me show you the bracelets I liked the most in designers’ collections.
John Galliano and Lanvin created very elaborate and chic pieces, with lots of beads, chains and gemstones.

Jean Paul Gaultier preferred plastic to other materials and made very extravagant bracelets which could be worn on forearms and elbows.

Lingerie fashion trend is top popular at the moment and some designers have already introduced it into their new Spring/Summer collections, especially those who presented their ranges during the Paris Fashion week.

We have discussed Christian Dior’s line which was entirely focused on the newly-invented trend and now Jean Paul Gaultier has shown his own way of wearing underwear stylishly.

If Cristian Dior chose the sophistication as his main direction, Jean Paul Gaultier stopped at more casual representation of the trend.

The collection was named The G Spot. And as a result every outfit had something to deal with lingerie: stockings of various colors, bras and corsets in diverse designs, garters and panties. But despite the fact lingerie was used so clear the garments looked descent and wearable.

Accessories for women can be both tiny or massive and they can complement the attire or distract viewers’ attention from it.

When we talk about men accessories it is quite clear that they should just complement the whole image adding sophistication, chic and elegance.
For example, a belt of high quality can be enough to create a good look. But the watch richly encrusted with diamonds will hardly be in place.
So, the trendiest accessories for men for these spring and summer are the following:
Belts
The belt is going to be a hot trend for the warm season.

And it will be worn not just the way we are used to see it but over the trenches, cardigans or any other clothing item. It can match the color of the garments or go in contrast with it.
Hats

Panamas will become 100% popular as well as wide-brimmed hats in Latino style. They will serve both as a practical headpiece and a part of your image.
Sunglasses are a must in spring and summer. No matter which style of sunglasses you prefer you’ll look stylish and hot when wearing them.
The most popular design for this season is a la Jack Nicholson’s sunglasses with grey matted lenses as well as horn-rimmed and multicolored-rimmed sunglasses.

The fact men’s fashion gets closer to the women’s one is not new and accessories such as men’s shawls and decorative beads, which were chosen by many designers for the forthcoming seasons, just prove that once again.
