We had been waiting for Critics’ Choice Awards 2010 for long. This event is important not only because it praises acting talents but because it is a huge fashion demonstration which allows lots of beautiful women to show off and see what others are worth!

This year the Awards were held on Friday, January 15 at the Hollywood Palladium. Everything was fantastic but weather. For some reason the sky decided our celebrities needed to go through some difficulties. But we are the people of the 21 century and what can rain do to us? Nothing! Plenty of special assistants were walking with the celebrities carrying umbrellas for them – really nice picture!

Well, in fact I’m more interested in dresses at the moment rather than weather problems. So, let’s begin.

The event was attended by a myriad of beauties, not only actresses but also singers, models and other socialites. Lots of glitz and glamour filled the red carpet. And it’s really hard to make the list of best dressed. But I’ve coped and here you can see it:

Anna Kendrick Critics Choice Awards 2010

#1. Anna Kendrick. The girl looked very feminine and very chic at the same time. The assymetrical light-colored Marchesa gown accentuated her gorgeous figure perfectly. The clutch and the ring complemented the attire well.
Chloe Sevigny Critics Choice Awards 2010

#2. Chloe Sevigny. The soft lilac Valentino dress was the best choice. Ruffles are hot for the new coming season, so we can say Chloe is in trend! But she does need to smile!

Halle Berry Critics Choice Awards 2010

#3. Halle Berry. Very sexy dress with a low cut looked fabulous on her! Men just couldn’t tear their eyes from her!

Heidi Klum Critics Choice Awards 2010
#4. . This woman lives to be admired! She looks perfect. No signs of recent pregnancy!

Back in 1962 when the now popular international brand Havaianas was created, nobody could imagine that styles inspired by the Zori, typical Japanese sandals, would be sooo huge for years and eventually become an ultimate casual footwear must have for millions of people round the world.

havaianas limited edition

The Havaianas trademark feature, that was also inherited from the Zori, is rice straw soles as all the have a textured rice pattern on all foot-beds.

Traditionally, Havaianas don’t lose shape, don’t smell (that’s important!) and straps don’t get loose, but what we love about them is their up-beat mood and real color explosion in designs.

New prints, colors and models appear almost every year, but there’s one thing we’re 100% sure about – these Brazilian Flip Flops keep winning hearts of more and more fashionistas who choose Havaianas as the number one pick casual footwear brand.

Sexy actress Scarlett Johansson wears bright heart on white shirt, covering November 2009 issue of magazine, which on stands October 6.

glamour magazine november 2009

The 25-year-old Mrs. Ryan Reynolds says in the interview:

About her body image:

“There was this rumor mill cranking out stories that I had lost 14 pounds—I could never lose 14 pounds.… I hate seeing these ridiculous articles where [tabloids] guess someone’s weight.… I can’t look at somebody who is 6 feet tall and 120 pounds and say, I’m going to get that body. That’s just never going to happen. You have to work with what you’ve got.”

Jennifer Aniston pays little attention to how she looks. The actress confessed she often ‘barely forces herself to put on clothes and run a brush through her hair’ before leaving the house.

The 40-year-old star said:

I don’t think a lot about my physical appearance. It is what it is and I can’t control it. I pay attention to the extent that I put on clothes today, I decided which shoes to wear with them and I even combed my hair! But apart from that, I just feel I am what I am.”

Hmmm, isn’t that too little for a woman who is in the center of attention all day long?

Instead of spending time on smarting herself for hours in front of the mirror the actress works on her health, this is what she cares a lot about. Jennifer told Britain’s Hello! magazine:

I do have to pay attention to my health because as an actor, my body is my instrument. But it’s more about the energy level than about what it looks like.

You have to have a lot of energy in my line of work, because it gets intense and sometimes we work 16-hour days.

You have to eat really well, drink lots of water and get yourself moving. I do a lot of exercise every day. If I have be at work at 7am, I’ll get up 5.30am to get myself going.”

She looks well and probably this is really enough for her. But if she spent more time on her appearance she would look a million times better!

US Cosmo June 2009 does Leighton Meester

UK Cosmopolitan cover June 2009 graces Jennifer Aniston.

She talks about her relationship, communicaion, life on public eyes and more.

Cosmopolitan Magazine in digital format – for just $1 an issue. Lowest price anywhere and get your first issue immediately!

Read some quotes.

On the perfect relationship:

“I don’t think a perfect relationship exists. But I do think that many of us think it does and we’re just fooling ourselves. Whoever said that everything has to be forever? That’s unrealistic or hoping for too much. I don’t think it’s worth all that pressure.”

On the importance of communication in relationships:

“I think that every relationship is a world unto itself. The most important factor is communication. People often expect their partner to read their minds, and when that doesn’t happen, they get pretty upset. Then the other person gets even more upset and, at the end of the day, it’s all because they didn’t talk it over at the beginning.”

On life in the public eye:

I’m still baffled as to why people are so interested in my life. It’s so weird, even my dog Norman gets recognised – he’s famous. But I’m cutting him off, I’ve told him no more Oprah appearances! [Laughs] … It’s been horrendous at times. I have had to simply move through it and try to think positively. I don’t know if I’m a late bloomer, but I feel like everything is just beginning … I would say that this is the best moment of my life. I’ve never felt better – physically or professionally. I’m a very lucky.”

On the importance of friendship:

I really value my friends, and I feel lucky to have such good ones. I couldn’t live without them. I don’t understand how people can isolate themselves and not communicate with others. I believe in everlasting friends.”

On what makes her smile:

Just hanging out. Sunsets make me happy, silly things make me happy. A nice bottle of wine with some good cheese makes me happy. Being in love makes me very happy. I love being in my home too. I’ve been working on my house for a year-and-a-half, which has been really fulfilling. I love cooking, going out to dinner, hiking, taking a road trip, watching movies…”

On her Friends costars:

I love them and we’re close, but we don’t see each other all the time … We have grand plans, like, ‘We’ll have dinner once a month.’ And then life happens, times change. It leaves me feeling sort of melancholy … They will always be my family whether we are in the same room and talking regularly or not. Something like [Friends] will never happen again and you have to acknowledge that. It was probably some of the greatest stuff I’ll get to do in my career, so anything that happens from this point is just a cherry on top of the cake. I’ve really had such a great time and the fact that I just get to keep working makes me feel really lucky.”
