Famous actresses and actors, socialities and other celebrities came wearing elegant tuxedos and gowns on the red carpet for the 61st Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. The show was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.

All in black

Amy Poehler, 38-year-old Parks and Recreation actress , was dressed in a classy black strapless gown by Reem Acra with silver embroidery, Stuart Weitzman shoes, carring Judith Leiber clutch and Chopard jewelry

The 35-year-old actress Jenna Fischer, the star of The Office preferred a black Reem Acra satin long dress with Jimmy Choo shoes, Christian Louboutin clutch. She wore Sutra earrings, Amrapali bracelet and Neil Lane ring.

The Alyson Hannigan American Pie actress looked hot in a sexy black strapless dress.

Every year American people can choose the most interesting people of the year through voting on the People magazine. 2009 People’s Choice Awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday (January 7) in Los Angeles.

Most beautiful, talented and successful celebrities were awarded with symbol honours.

Now I want to show you the fashion and style of People’s Choice Awards 2009.

Carrie Underwood hits the red carpet in a strapless floral gown at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards.

Carrie changed three dresses during the night. She sang in a beautiful green dress and then she put on an orange sparkling short dress when receiving the award.

So many gowns! She was the most stylish babe that night.

Lady in blue

Young actress Dakota Fanning wore a  cute one-shoulder blue short dress. She had simple hairstyle and natural make up. She looked fresh and innocent.

Jordin Sparks prefered a blue strapless dress and chose to accessorize it with gold heels and a matching clutch, pendant and coctail rings with yellow stones.

Kate Hudson, a 29-year-old actress, shone in a turquoise floor-long Gucci  dress accessorizing her look with matching two-toned Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, Jack Vartanian jewelry, and a Gucci clutch.

Lauren Conrad, Paris Hilton, Rumer Willis, Lisa Rinna, Kevin Connolly, Erika Christensen, Amy Smart, Leelee Sobieski, Rachel Bilson, Nicole Richie with Joel Madden and others attended the D&G boutique Benefiting The Art of Elysium opening on Robertson Boulevard Beverly Hills on Monday on December 15.

Designer Stefano Gabbana told,

This is a strategic opening for the group on a global scale. Locating a D&G store in a very important street both for its positioning and visibility allows us to speak directly to our public.”

Rachel Bilson hosted the opening of store. She wore glitters in a navy D&G sequin blazer, white top and jeans, toted around Jimmy Choo’s yellow “Zulu” clutch.

She looked tasteless. She mixed differents styles and her view wasn’t nice.

Uniting a army of other popular people desirous for their first look at the new store, actress Nikki Reed, 20, was posing and smiling for everyone.

The Twilight babe was sporting a classic black plunging neckline sleeveless gown combined with a pair of black peep-toe heels and black toe nail polish.

90210 star Jessica Stroup smiled and was perfect in her brown long gown.

It’s no wonder that daughter of famous Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer Willis looks so fresh and beautiful at Hollywood events. At the openning she was wearing a courage backless black and white printed D&G Spring 2009 halter-neck gown, which showed her ‘Be Present’ tattoo. Her red hair was so bright and magnificent!
