At the Oscars stars tried to look as glamorous as possible wearing long sumptuous dresses, expensive jewelry and accessories. For 2010 Vanity Fair Oscar party held at Sunset Tower on Sunday (March 7) they went more modest and unpretentious though outfits still looked chic.
Kate Beckinsale looked gorgeous in a shimmering assymetrical dress complimented by Neil Lane diamond earrings and a large gold diamond platinum cocktail ring.

Katy Perry returned to her glamorous side. The I Kissed a Girl singer appeared on the red carpet wearing a perfect Zuhair Murad gown, H. Stern jewels, Judith Leiber clutch and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Kristen Stewart did her best to look good but dresses definitely don’t fit her. the young actress sported a midnight blue strapless dress by Monique L’Hullier.

Natalie Portman looked beautiful in her short metallic Lanvin dress, Tiffany jewels and Aldo shoes.

Jessica admits that idea to create a collection of timepieces is the pure sequence of her love to these items.
She said:
Collecting watches, both vintage and new, has been a hobby of mine for some time so adding watches to the collection was a natural extension.”
To make watches of high quality the 29-year-old star has teamed up with jeweller Pascal Mouawad who once collaborated with Nicole Richie on her House of Harlow 1960 fashion range.
The range will include 35 designs based on Jessica’s personal style and will vary from classic faces with a leather strap to elaborate jewellery-inspired looks.

Maybe it’s just the picture that doesn’t seem so appealing to me but Jessica Simpson looks bad on the cover of Allure March 2010 issue.

There is her face only and lots of words and phrases. Her eyes do not look impressive and half-opened mouth that is featured this way to look sexy doesn’t look sexy at all.
I don’t believe it’s Jessica who changed so much, it must be a photographer who hasn’t done his job well.

In the interview for the magazine the star reveals some facts about her life:
On going brunette while dating John Mayer: “He didn’t make me go brunette! John doesn’t get credit for making me brunette. He’d like to think so, but he doesn’t deserve the credit.

The Haiti tragedy has shocked everyone and people all over the world do what they can to help the sufferers. Celebrities and ordinary people have joined forces to solve the problem.

Lindsay Lohan couldn’t stand aside. She decided to raise money for the earthquake-stricken Caribbean country by selling her leggings chaper and donating all the proceeds to the Save the Children organisation.
Lindsay told People magazine:
It is truly horrible what has happened to the people and children in Haiti. I believe every company should do their part to help by donating what they can. Please help us do our part for the Children of Haiti by purchasing this 6126 legging. I am proud to announce that we are giving 100 per cent of the proceeds to Haiti’s children through an organisation I am passionate about, Save the Children. ‘Fame’ leggings will retail for $65, originally $90, for a limited time only to help the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.”
Save the Children is the leading independent organization that’s working on improving the lives of children in need in the United States and around the globe.
Jessica Simpson makes her contribution through the Tennessee-based charity Soles4Souls selling her shoes. The singer, actress and now designer is working with her friends Cacee Cobb and Ken Paves to gain 50,000 pairs of shoes in 50 days for the victims.
She said:
Let’s do everything that we can for the tragedy in Haiti.”

Jessica Simpson is working on a denim line. The singer, actress and fashion designer is going to launch a range of jeans soon to help girls’ butts “look good”.

The 29-year-old knows how essential it is to have a well-fitting pair of jeans especially if jeans are your favorite item in the wardrobe.
She said:
Because I live in denim, the fit was the most important. A girl’s booty needs to look good. I was inspired to create a great denim line that complements the entire Jessica Simpson lifestyle brand – a jean that becomes a girl’s best friend, that everyday go-to pair.”
Jessica who has had a public battle with excess pounds knows everyone needs tricks to look slimmer and denim often help to achieve the necessary effect.
The girl who has to work hard on her figure did her best to inform people about the difficulty of maintaining a stick-thin figure. She has recently filmed a documentary named ‘The Price of Beauty‘.
She commented:
I haven’t always had an inner confidence and I haven’t always looked at my reflection and loved it. There’s always something I’ve wanted to fix because there’s always somebody that looks better. And that’s what we always try to compare ourselves to.”

Time is running so fast and we’re already half way through beautiful autumn months. The weather’s become colder and rainy.
If that’s what you see from out of your window then you surely have already taken care of having enough warm clothes for the colder fall/winter months.

So have celebrities.
Let’s check out Autumn 2009 celebrity street style in the beginning of October
In leggings
Lindsay Lohan opted for grey tones while having a walk with her younger sister Ali Lohan on Friday morning, October 9, in Paris, France.
She was wearing Tolani Brown Zig Zag Scarf, black leather jacket, grey tunic and leggings and black unlaced leather boots.

Flying in comfort!
Singer Fergie and the Black Eyed Peas arrived in the Melbourne airport to catch their flight to Perth, Australia as they kick off the V Australia Mile High Club on Friday October 9.
Fergie looked shining in the purple jacket, black top and leggings.
As we see she opted for black chained ankle boots, which top the trends list this Fall, and long chain necklace.

Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt arrived at LAX Airport October 9. Paris was in leopard print style.

Jessica Simpson is a busy person. She tries to be everywhere and be able to do everything. It’s good. Moreover, since the 29-year-old is capable to do all these well, I do highly respect her for hardworking.
Jessica is rather successful as a designer, though she isn’t a professional. And she has just been a real model having strutted the runway at a fashion show in Paris.

The singer-turned-designer-turned-model was wearing a nice floor-sweeping gown with a pair of giant platforms to compensate her shorter height compared to actual models.
The dress looked a bit weird and sinister though generally was designed beautifully.

Jessica was invited as a special guest to model for Turkish designer Ozlem Suer as her Paris show yesterday, on Friday 4. And to tell you the truth I don’t think she is good at modeling.
And her shape is too curvaceous. Yes, I like women who look feminine but still consider models should be at least a little slimmer. But her appearance at the catwalk made the designer very popular, this show will be remembered!

On relationships:
I don’t regret anything I’ve gone through…. I don’t know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn’t change. I’m very happy and comfortable-it’s a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we’re not together, I’d still love [Tony], and he’d still be a huge part of who I am today.”
