The photo by James White is a re-print of 2003, from Esquire magazine. It this year she released the hit single Toxic and album In The Zone.

She poses in a black strapless mini-dress, tossing her tumbling blonde locks over her shoulder.

In the interview ‘How a broken Britney bounced back’, the returned singer reveals the strategy for her much-anticipated comeback.

With her new album, which will be released on December 2, and her hot new look, it seems that Britney Spears is finally back!

Jessica Simpson covers the December 2008 issue of US Cosmopolitan.

In the interview with Cosmopolitan Jessica opens up about her views on boys, relationships and honesty.

Jessica on Her Marriage To Nick Lachey:

Nick will always be a part of my life. But next time, I’m marrying the right one.”

Jessica on Giving Candid Interviews:

I definitely know a lot more about myself from being asked questions and being forced to answer them truthfully. They make me face the reality of what people want to know….I’m see-through. And I’m the worst liar of all time.”

On Tony:

I’d always fall for guys I wanted to save. For the first time, I fell in love with someone who saved me.”

Just after US Elle used Mary Kate Olsen for its July cover, British Elle recycled the twin for its September 2008 cover. Reminds us of the time hot Madonna does covers of both American and British Elle for May.

From interview:

On what inspires her sense of style…

I love playing dress up. I get inspired by old films, weird things. It could just be the person sitting across from me or it could be a full Victorian costume”

On media reaction to her clothing…

What I find odd though is that a weekly [magazine] will come out describing my outfit as a fashion disaster, while the fashion industry actually respects what I wear.”

On her and Ashley’s clothing labels…

I think more of my energy goes in to Elizabeth and James, [The Row is] Ashley’s baby.”

Karl Lagerfeld about Mary Kate Olsen:

I love a tiny woman in Chanel. Coco herself was tiny, so you don’t need to be a giant to look good in these [designs]. I like the way Mary-Kate is mixing Chanel with other things. Life is not a fashion show, and I find a total designer look boring.’

Jessica Simpson does too her magazine cover for British Elle. Elle magazine availed of her cover-girl prowess for their September 2008 issue. As always, Jessica looks wonderful thanks to the help of at least 10 graphics artists.

Jessica Simpson said about the period immediately following her 2005 split from ex-husband Nick Lachey.
She said:

I was going through a lot of pain. I didn’t try anything to change my life other than dating different types of guys and conforming to their worlds. I thought I had to be artsier, more intellectual. Most of the guys I dated were captivated by my heart, but they had different ways of trying to get to me. Tony understands me. He appreciates my talent. He’s the first person I’ve spiritually connected with.”

Jessica Simpson’s debut country album “Do You Know” will be available on September 9.

Sexy singer Jessica Simpson is adding a dresses fashion line to her growing fashion brand.

Jessica’s already been selling swimsuits, lingerie, shoes, eyewear, purses, jewelry, clip-in hair extensions, bath and body care products for a few years. The shoes are expected to reach $250 million in retail sales this year.

Jessica Simpson tells WWD,

I’m extremely excited”

The new dress collection will be out in the spring of 2009.  A fuller range of products is expected next fall. I’ve surfed around but there doesn’t appear to be any examples of  Jessica’s dresses out yet.

Simpson said,

I’m extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market. I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace.”
