Jewelry is something we usually crave for but it is not all jewelry we like so much. For example, the metal pieces from Rebekah Frank seem horiifying to me. Only a masochistic fashionista would like to try this or a Lady GaGa fan.

The range includes necklaces, bracelets and even belts that clearly say: Look but not touch! Hazardous as they are they can be interesting additions to outfits for people with unconventional opinions and attitudes.

Claws and thorns are everywhere, you can wear these pieces to parties and be no more afraid of being attacked. Everyone will step away from you as soon as they see your accessories. Go on, our fashionable monsters!

Anja Rubik isn’t only beautiful, she is extremely bold! A real python draped around your neck is something that makes you scream rather than pose gracefully in front of a camera.

The photo shoot is very creative and interesting. Apart from being horrifying it looks glamorous as python is featured together with snake-inspired Lanvin jewelry.

The photo shoot named Charmeuse de Serpent (Snake Charmer) is exotic and chic and it is fashionable as well. The model wears items from Gucci, Alexander McQueen, Bottega Veneta, Versace, Givenchy, Dolce&Gabbana, Hermes, etc.

Styling: Veronique Didry

Charity is great and the more people turn to it the better. Rachel Bilson has been the latest to join the group of those who help underpriviledged.

The actress, fashion designer and InStyle contributing editor has created a diamond bracelet to benefit the Diamond Empowerment Fund, a non-profit organisation that supports education in Africa.
Rachel understood she wanted to do something for those in need while she was visiting Botswana and South Africa last month. She went to Africa to learn about improvements made in the diamond mining industry.

The bracelet Rachel designed looks nice. It is made up of brown leather cords, with a gold charm framing a dainty round diamond. It won’t be too expensive – $100, and $20 from the sale of each piece will go to the Fund to build student housing at the CIDA City Campus, a university in Johannesburg which is the country’s first to be virtually free.
The jewellery is available exclusively through InStyle.com.
Rachel has never worked on jewelry but she has some experience in making clothes. She has her own clothing range Edie Rose, which is rather successful. But she says she needs to learn a lot to become a professional.
She said:
I can’t draw at all, so I won’t be doing any sketches, but I am learning to sew. I think it’s important to know more about the whole process of making clothes.”
Pictures were taken from Instyle.com.

French jeweller Margaux Lange must have really special imagination because her creations are far from being normal. The collection you see here is made of Barbie dolls, their parts to be precise.

Perhanps we should take these pieces with irony but they do look a bit weird and even terrying. However, for some eccentric ladies they can look funny and extravagant.

The designer says her creations are not serious and are made to make people smile.

For me the items do not look funny or nice. Dolls have resemblance of people and when dolls are dismembered it reminds me of people’s sufferings.
Tell me what you think.

It’s cold outside and we all want spring to come as soon as possible with its warmth, sun and greenness. And while there is little brightness out there we can think about things that can enliven our life.
Let’s talk about bracelets now. Bracelets are must-haves in any woman’s wardrobe. And we all have so many of them! But do you know that they initially were worn only by men? Read the history of bracelets here.

Spring-Summer 2010 season sees lots of bracelets worn all over the arm, from wrists to forearms. And the diversity of styles and designs is huge.
Let me show you the bracelets I liked the most in designers’ collections.
John Galliano and Lanvin created very elaborate and chic pieces, with lots of beads, chains and gemstones.

Jean Paul Gaultier preferred plastic to other materials and made very extravagant bracelets which could be worn on forearms and elbows.

Souzou Creations were really creative when making these sweet rings. They are something worth seeing! It seems that minimized copies of Japanese meals were attached to the wearer’s fingers – lovely and funny!

Some rings are small and simple but others are big enough and feature a whole table board with a few dishes on it!

I like the idea but would never dare to wear such things. They are nice and amusing to look at, just like some works of art.

Tell me: would you like to have such a ring in your jewelry box and if you do where would you wear it?

Jessica Simpson has been designing lots of various things and now wants to try creating wedding bands. For this venture the singer is planning to team up with celebrity jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad who is considering the offer at the moment.

Jess and her mom are really pushing the wedding rings. Jess wants her own line but Pascal isn’t so keen on that,” the insider said.
Mouaward likes Jessica Simpson but he doesn’t think wedding rings are what she needs to put her hands on.
He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn’t think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica.”

Some women do look better after pregnancy and curves just make them more beautiful. Nicole Richie is obviously such a girl. She used to be incredibly thin when keeping close friendship with Paris Hilton. But when she got pregnant with her first baby she immediately changed into a hot mummy-to-be. The second child even increased the effect.

Yes, she gained weight, but it was only for the better. Now she looks super sexy. This photo, taken at the launch of her jewelry line yesterday, shows how much she changed. Motherhood certainly seems to suit her.
At the presentation of her House Of Harlow 1960 jewellery collection Nicole wore a figure-hugging white dress that contrasted well with her new brunette hairdo. A few pretty bracelets and a pair of silver Louboutins completed the look perfectly.
The presentation was held at the Bloomingdale’s South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California.
Many people arrived at the event and it pleased Nicole a lot. After posing for photographs and signing autographs, she excitedly tweeted:
Whew! That was fun. Thanks to everyone who came out today in this terrible weather to hang out with me! I wouldn’t have.’
Speaking about her new hairdo, Nicole added, ‘OH! & P.S. I went brunette. I feel smarter already.’
Baby boom in showbiz is a nice thing. Women become more feminine are charming. I like it!
