Teen Choice Awards 2009: fashion and style

2009 presentation airs 2009 year on FOX at 8PM ET on Monday, August 10, 2009 hosted by popular teen music band the !

Every year this Glam event takes place as teens across the US eventually choose the nominees. Then winners are selected – as people vote for their favorite celebrity online.

Singer shines in a black MJ Resort mini dress with multi-colored sequined strips, purple heels and a bold bracelet on her right hand.

A strange dress and not feminine at all.

The 17-year-old actress took Choice Summer TV Star awards, was in one shoulder pale dress by Baby Pha, silver heels and had an amazing cocktail ring.

Blonde posed for paparazzi in Stella McCartney white short dress and gold Gucci Iman and gold clutch.

The Jonas Brothers clothing line

This fall popular music band The , the Disney stars, are hoping to hit with a new collection of clothing for tween girls.


The sportswear range will extend to mass retailers such as Kmart, Wal-Mart, Sears and J.C. Penney in time for back-to-school shopping.

We see this line as high opportunity for back-to-school,” said Pamela Lifford, executive vice president of global fashion at Disney Consumer Products. “Also, as an added element, within each of the retailers we are offering up differentiation, so that each store has exclusive product on their floors.”

The collection, named Jonas, will consist of woven tops, T-shirts, polo shirts with ruffle accents, plaid belted shorts, leggings and jeans.The line even includes an argyle sweater vest with the logo of their fictional high school, Horace Mantis Academy.

The outfits, which will retail from $9.99 to $24.99, are encouraged by the preppy attires seen on their upcoming Disney Channel show, Jonas, which will air in May.

Lifford said:

The are a lifestyle, not just a boy band. Their movie [: The 3D Concert Experience] lets you into their world, and the clothing line is just another way to do that. Its a way to get closer to them and their world.

The outfits based on the characters on the show, the , were not included in the design of the product.
