Kate Moss is photographed for two Liu Jo campaigns – clothing and jeans ones. The images showcasing jeans collection are black-and-white. Kate poses all around the bedroom wearing different styles – skinny, flared and cropped.

The second, clothing campaign by Liu Jo, is colored but all the tones are subdued. The garments Kate Moss demonstrates are simple and lovely, perfect for daily wear.

Victoria Beckham has been recognized as a style icon for a long time already but the news she has the same reputation with women over 50 is surprising considering the fact she is only 37 years old herself.

Victoria Beckham (KNOW ALL ABOUT VICTORIA BECKHAM)was included into the list of top 10 style influencers for ladies over 50 along with older women like Helen Mirren (she is one the first place), Twiggy, and Elle Mcpherson.

A spokeswoman for clothing brand CC, who organized the poll (in Britain), commented:

Victoria Beckham has proven she carries universal appeal and her image over the past few years has altered from high glamour to a more classic look which appeals to women of all ages. The results show women in their fifties aren’t afraid to embrace younger styles when they’re done the right way.”

In the top 20 there are such big names as Kylie Minogue, Demi Moore, Kate Moss, and Elizabeth Hurley.

Life isn’t easy for Lea T but she keeps struggling for her place in the sun. And first really good results are starting to show up. The transsexual model has landed the cover of prestigious fashion magazine – Elle Brazil December 2011 issue.

Lea T, who is one of Riccardo Tisci’s favorite models, wears Givenchy on the cover of Elle Brazil December 2011 issue. She looks amazing in a floral-printed dress-and-jacket ensemble. Her hair is done in soft waves and the makeup is flawless.

Last year Lea T was in the center of everybody’s attention. She was first introduced into the industry and promised to become a successful model. In 2011 things got quieter but she was still a very interesting personality. She appeared on covers of Love magazine kissing Kate Moss and Lurv magazine. She also spoke to Oprah in February and had a few photoshoot jobs including a swimwear one.

For some people it’s really easy to get noticed. Lottie Moss had to simply attend her half-sister’s wedding and Storm Model Management agent spotted her. The girl, who is now 13 years old, is pretty and interesting and will probably become very popular soon. She has had a ‘test shoot’ already (which looks great to me!) and one of Kate Moss’ favorite photographers – Mario Testino – has lined-up for her next photo shoot.

Lottie (Charlotte) did her first shoot last month with a photographer Andrea Carter-Bowman who was said to be good at making young models feel comfortable behind the lens. The girl looks beautiful on the pictures. She isn’t professional about posing yet but she does have that expressiveness we all like in some models.

Lottie Moss’ father says it’s too early to plan anything about his daughter’s career but he also believes modeling can be a great start for her. He commented:

It’s early days really. Storm, Kate’s agent, felt that it was worth giving Lottie a test shoot and seeing how she turned out. She had a lovely time and she seemed to come out quite well – so everybody’s happy so far. It will be very strictly controlled because she’s not 14 yet so it’s very early days. It will all be left to Sarah and Simon at Storm to decide what the best way ahead is. So we’re going to have a chat with them later in the year, possibly before Christmas, just to decide how to go forward.”

He also mentioned Lottie had an exciting day doing modeling:

It was a nice experience [for Lottie] to have a good photographer and the life of a photographic model, a day in the life as it were, but an exciting day for her.”

Talking about the opportunity his Lottie can have with the career like this he said:

Well, you have to take advantage of any opportunities that come along haven’t you? If things work out for Lottie and she eventually gets some work it could help her in her future. It’s getting harder and harder to get jobs, university and things like that – so if she can get a couple of jobs early on and get something behind her maybe it makes life easier.”

Fashion insiders have already discussed the probable future of the girl. Carole White, the founder of Premier Models who launched Naomi Campbell’s career, commented about Lottie:

Lottie looks beautiful and fresh – a very English rose look. Generally you need the height. Kate is an exception to the rule because models need to be 5ft9in to 5ft 11in. I think Lottie would make a lovely young model.”

Fashion expert Karen Kay said:

She’s even got a Cindy Crawford-style mole on her chin. She’s the full package. If she plays her cards right, she could eclipse Kate.”

It’s been Katie Holmes’ second campaign for H.Stern after signing the contract with the brand in April. The actress has followed in the footsteps of Kate Moss and Catherine Deneuve as the face of the brand.

Kristen Stewart looked lovely in a printed minidress and a pair of ankle boots. Her hair was darker and longer than usual but looked nice.

Kristen said that as an actress she had to stay involved into fashion:

Actors and actresses have a hand in both words [acting and fashion]. You have to stay involved in it to be interested. I love what I wear, I mean I love choosing what I wear”.

Talking about her own style she admitted she had ‘phases’ in it:

I have different versions of myself and a standard uniform – I wear jeans. It’s cool to have another side of things. I have phases.”

The Twilight star also mentioned she loved London very much because no one followed her:

The people are really great. I like walking around here, I don’t really get bothered by anyone.”

Supermodel Cindy Crawford is on the two covers of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore for their September 2011 issue. Crawford, 45 looks stunning on both of the shot as well as in the rest of the photo shoot. One of the covers features Cindy Crawford wearing leather cutout dress and a red lipstick while the other one has the supermodel turning back at the camera wearing a sheer white blouse and a black skirt decorated with flowers.

Photographed by Simon Upton Cindy Crawford appears in the outfits from Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collection alongside Bryan Randall. The editorial that’s called Lady and The Vamp portrays Crawford as a lady vamp who turns from good girl to bad wearing racy outfits.

Crawford has made an observation about being a model in today’s fashion industry:

Since celebrities have debuted on covers of various fashion magazines models have become a rare cover choice for magazine editors. But the tendency seems to be reversing as the economy declines and it’s cheaper to hire models to do covers. Harper’s Bazaar is not the only magazine that decided to put a model on its cover. Vogue and Elle has put Kate Moss, Carmen Kass, Helena Cristensen, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova and other models on its covers. Harper’s Bazaar features such models as Karlie Kloss, Eniko Mihalik, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Heidi Klum and others. The models return.

Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen and Eva Herzigova are known as supermodels of the nineties. But they make another comeback with their cover of September 2011 issue of Spanish Vogue. All three supermodels are dressed in Dolce & Gabbana star-printed dresses and are showing off their mild long legs in towering heels. The trio of supermodels who are in their late 30s and early 40s look great on the magazine cover shot by Tom Munro.

Supermodels get their own separate spreads in the magazine each named with the models’ names and shot by different photographers. Helena Christensen poses in a series of shots by Miguel Reveriego wearing some hot pants, bras and open button denim shirts. Though the outfits don’t look quite wearable.

Eva Herzigova poses in a series of shots by Paola Kudacki with a head of curls in some classy outfits. The 38 year-old supermodel wears almost no makeup and looks beautiful in her photo spread “Eva”.

Claudia Schiffer dons wide-brim hats, fur, and dresses looking stunning in her black and white photo set by Tom Munro.

The fashion insiders say that the models are making comeback to fashion magazine covers  because the economy of today doesn’t let mags spend more money on inviting a celebrity. So don’t expect to see only celebrities on fashion magazine covers this September. The faces you will also see are those of Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Natalia Vodianova, Heidi Klum, and Karlie Kloss.

Michael Kors‘ wedding ring was revealed. American fashion designer and his boyfriend Lance Le Perea have wed a week sporting platinum Janis Savitt bands each encrusted with diamonds on the inside give by the newlyweds’ families. After the New York legislation on same-sex marriage has passed the couple has announced their plans marry. The rings are simple but classy while the ceremony was intimate and took place on the beach. Janis Savitt and Michael Kors have collaborated on some jewelry collections.

Manolo Blahnik told WWD about how he had to remake Kate Moss’ wedding shoes FIVE times to get them right as Moss confessed to “turning mental” for a moment while she was making all the preparations for her wedding with Jamie Hince. The customized $895 Godichefac open sandals with pretty ornate design were decorated with jewels but to get it right the shoes were remade five times.

We did them five times to get them the way she wanted.

The shoes arrived the day before and there were too many jewels on the heel because of the long train, so we had women working up until midnight to change it.

My workers are the best people. I wouldn’t be here without them.

said Manolo Blahnik to WWD. Blahnik has also expressed his delight for platform shoe trend decline as the designer has gained his popularity for his signature style in making feminine and delicate shoes.

Godichefac sandals

Those ‘furniture’ shoes are finally over, or starting to be.

Blahnik has described his fall collection as “sweet”, “feminine” and “new” and it’s great as the fall season trends toward more feminine and delicate designs.

Kate Moss’ wedding was “divine” according to designer who said Moss has “a presence” that one has to feel. Kate Moss wore her customized Godichefac sandals with a vintage wedding gown by John Galliano for her wedding ceremony in July.
