Well, Keira Knightley isn’t the actress who is ready to strip off any time. But she’s made an exception for GQ Magazine, and the March 2012 issue features the Dangerous Method star posing provocatively in just a few pieces of clothing.

Keira Knightley looks very sexy in a pale blue low-cut jumper and high heels on one of the photos. Another one shows us the star sitting in an armchair dressed in a vintage swimming costume. On the third image Keira is photographed on her knees, in a black swimsuit and a leather jacket with tassels.

In the interview for GQ magazine Keira Knightley speaks about how hard it was for her to understand what illness her character Sabina in Dangerous Method suffered from, on different perceptions of her by the Americans and English people and her personal happiness.

Keira Knightley on special researches she made to understand the script of Dangerous Method better: “I vaguely knew it was about sex and blaming your parents. Apart from that I had no idea. So I had to do quite a lot of research to understand what they were talking about and understand where [Sabina] was coming from and the nature of the illness that she had.”

Keira Knightley on her unwillingness to play too risky roles: “I said, ‘I love you, I love the script. But I don’t think it’s something I can do, so I might have to turn it down.’ Once he said he didn’t want it to be sexy or voyeuristic, and as soon as I got my head around the S&M mentality, I said, ‘Okay, let’s do it’.”

Keira Knightley on difference of perceptions between American and British audiences: “The Americans are generally a lot more supportive. They generally like the work a lot more than they do here. It is what it is, I suppose. It could just be that I’m not to a lot of people’s tastes. Which is fine. Well it’s not, obviously. You want to be to everyone’s taste… But. I think it’s better to do your own thing rather than try to please everyone and just be this mushy thing in the middle.. Sometimes it’s like water off a duck’s back, and sometimes it really hurts… and then you go away and cry for an hour or so, and then pick yourself up again…”

Keira Knightley on her new love, musician James Righton, and the happier life: “I’m actually loving this bit right now – doing the work I’m doing, having the life I can have around it. Right now, it’s really good.”

Karl Lagerfeld is reported to have found the new face for Chanel handbag campaign. And you would be surprised to know that it is the British model Alice Dellal, who is best known for her half-shaved head and being a member of a controversial all-girl rock group Thrush Metal.

Alice Dellal is said to be going to promote Chanel Spring/ Summer 2012 handbag collection. According to the rumors she has attracted attention of Karl Lagerfeld during a recent photoshoot.

If rumors confirm to be true Alice Dellal will follow in the footsteps of such big names as Vanessa Paradis, Claudia Schiffer, Nicole Kidman and Keira Knightley as well as Blake Lively, Lily Allen, and Diane Kruger who all used to be models for Chanel.

Despite being a model Alice Dellal confesses she isn’t into fashion much:

I wish I was more into clothes. I don’t know the current designers. My style used to be a tame version of me and it’s getting more and more drastic, and is probably going to get really really weird towards the end. Be afraid.”

Alice Dellal isn’t the only person in her family who works in the industry. Her sister, Charlotte, designs shoes for Sienna Miller and Kate Moss under the name Charlotte Olympia.

A Dangerous Method premiered yesterday in London. Keira Knightley, who plays Russian psychoanalyst Sabina Spielrein in the film, appeared at the event looking totally stunning. The 26-year-old actress wore an unusual Roksanda Ilincic dress in black-and-white color scheme. The dress was demure enough but it did reveal just the right amount of flesh with a cross-my-heart wrap top detail.

Keira Knightley was joined by the film’s director David Cronenburg and her co-stars Viggo Mortensen and Michael Fassbender on the red carpet.

A Dangerous Method is about the relationship between psychoanalysts Carl Jung (Fassbender) and Sigmund Freud (Mortensen). And Sabina Spielrein has an affair with Jung.

In an interview about the movie Keira Knightly said it was not easy for her to play a few steamy scenes as she knew her pictures would be all over the web. But she agreed and had to drink some vodka to have the courage to play her role.

She said:

I did a couple of shots of vodka – definitely – beforehand, and then a couple of glasses of champagne as a celebration of never having to do that again.”

She added:

When I first read the script, I thought, the script was fascinating, and it’s David, and I really want to work with David, but I read those two scenes and just went: “I don’t think that I can do that,” particularly because it’s the age of the internet; it’s gonna be everywhere. I phoned him up to really turn it down. I said to him, “Look, I love you, I love the script, I love the character, but I really don’t know that I can play those scenes. He said, “Look, if I’m gonna do them, then they’re gonna be clinical; they’re not gonna be sexy, they’re not gonna be voyeuristic in that way. And I thought, “Okay, well I can understand that. As long as it’s clinical and it’s not some, sort of, weird sexy spanking thing.”‘

A Dangerous Method is released in the US on November 23.

While the cover of Vogue UK January 2011 is interesting to look at, the pictorial inside the magazine isn’t like that at all. The photoshoot is dull and gloomy, and Keira Knightley looks somewhat unhealthy. She does remind me of Coco Chanel though.

In the interview for Vogue UK January 2011 the 25-year-old actress, Keira Knightley talks a lot about her career, mentions about how she hides from paparazzi and praises Carey Mulligan for being a good friend.

Keira Knightley on tiring of acting: ‘I think I intended not to work again. I wasn’t enjoying what I was doing and I felt terribly guilty about that. I remember hating the idea that I was in a privileged position and couldn’t see the point of any of it,’ she said. ‘I had worked solidly since I was 16, till 22, and I had not been on holiday in all of that time. I didn’t know if I was going to go back to acting at all. I think for a long time I thought I wouldn’t.’ Knightley eventually did go back to work and has since made four films.

Keira Knightley on hating being recognized by the paparazzi who make her ‘fearful’: ‘I’m still not good at being recognized,’ she said. ‘I wear scruffy clothes and hats and keep my head well down; I’m sure people must think I’m a complete b**ch, but I’m just very shy.’

Keira Knightley on agreeing to take part in her latest film, Never Let Me Go, because co-star Carey Mulligan had asked her to: ‘She’s a very good friend of mine and [I felt] if I was to start making films again, she was someone who would watch my back.’

The dress Kiera Knightley wore to the premiere of Never Let Me Go was very daring. The backside was cut down to her waist while the upper part was all covered with bead threads. To finish her look the star opted for a pair of black satin pumps with chunky heels.

While Keira tried to look glamorous and sexy Carey Mulligan did little to impress her fans. To the premiere of Never Let Me Go the actress donned an ill-fitting white halterneck dress with a black and red geometric print. She could do it better.

Keira Knightley graces the cover of Elle magazine March 2010 issue wearing sumptuous outfits from Donna Karan. The actress looks beautiful and confident and it’s hard to say that she can feel outrageous by talks about her poor acting skills. To me she is one of the most talented actresses in Hollywood and I absolutely loved her role in Pirates of the Caribbean. Besides, she is very fashion-conscious and knows how to dress to look stylish.

In the interview she reveals about her attitude to honesty and comments the talks about her lack of talent:

On criticism of her acting skills: “Oh, they still say that! Every time I do an interview with the English press, one of their questions is, ‘How do you feel knowing that everyone thinks you’re a s*** actress?’”

She doesn’t look hugely photoshopped and she wears simple but well-fitting clothes. And it is good as we sometimes need to see that stars are normal people. They like comfort as much as glamour.

Keira claims she’s not a style snob and probably she isn’t judging by the style she’s opted for the magazine shoot.

The King Arthur star looks fresh and young. And the garments compliment her shape a lot. I like the printed tunic and a pair of jeans on her as well as a jacket with light flower pattern.

Erdem told Britain’s The Times newspaper:

In one week Keira Knightley, Samantha Cameron and Sarah Brown all wore my clothes.”

The fashion designer claims it was much to deal with luck that he became famous in a moment. Others work all their life but never get that. But he also feels sure his dresses are very beautiful.

Luck is a funny thing. I am getting attention now because hopefully people feel beautiful in my dresses. I love the idea that a woman will put on my clothes and feel strong, comfortable and confident.”

Speaking about men creating female clothes Erdem said that men could do that better as they are more detached and see what looks good on ladies. But he can’t say all women-designers fail to be successful in designing.

He explained:

I want to say that men are more detached, so our imaginations can run, but there are so many amazing female designers that it would be an unfair statement.”

According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations I’m happy to tell you that Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie and Lauren Conrad turned out to be among the most salable cover faces for fashion magazines in 2008.

At the same time Nicole Kidman, Rachel Weisz and Carrie Underwood were the least.

Of course that doesn’t mean it is the stars’ fault the issues didn’t sell so well. There are many factors to have caused that.

For instance, some of the worst-selling issues were published in January, which is typically a soft month for newsstand sales, or around the holidays, when people were anxious about more urgent economic concerns.

At Vogue, September was very successful having sold 559,000 copies, while the October issue with Weisz on the cover was the glossy’s poorest seller, with only 276,000 copies.

The fall fashion issue had Keira Knightley as the face of the cover.

Elle witnessed the dramatic boost of sales in January with Beckham on the cover. This January issue sold 413,000 copies. The worst was December’s Underwood, registering 253,611.

Jolie’s face was extremely popular with consumers of Vanity Fair and W.

Vanity Fair’s July issue sold 504,785 single copies, while W magazine’s November issue moved 78,000 issues.

Vanity Fair’s slowest seller was “Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl, who sold 314,000 copies in January.

And Hilary Swank became the worst performer for January issue of W, selling 27,000 on the newsstand.

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria Parker promoted the best sales of the year for In Style’s March issue, 888,912 copies were sold.

The underperformer was July with Anne Hathaway at 585,170 issues.

Marie Claire’s best faces were the stars of Sex and The City on July cover.

The issue sold 440,948 copies. The December issue with Jennifer Connelly was the worst performer, with just 191,000 copies.
Harper’s Bazaar hit its records having sold 213,195 copies of its March issue featuring a bad girl Lindsay Lohan on its cover, but November cover with Drew Barrymore wasn’t as buyable and sold 119,501 copies.
Lucky’s September issue with Milla Jovovich gracing for its cover sold best – 336,000 issues, whilst the June issue with Amanda Peet registered only 205,000 copies.

Speaking about Glamour, I can say that Jessica Simpson was the best-purchased cover-girl. The June issue sold 775,000 issues, which was the highest rate for Glamour last year.

Sorry to mention that but our beloved Kidman wasn’t as popular: her December cover sold 460,000 copies — the worst single-copy sales in recent history for the title.

Cosmopolitan felt thankful to Scarlett Johansson in August for the fact the magazine issue sold nearly 2 million copies.

But the worst seller for the year, you’d be surprised, was Simpson on its December issue having sold 1,565,128 copies. As you see her results vary from one magazine to another.

Despite promoting the best sales for InStyle and Cosmopolitan Eva Longoria Parker and Johansson were the poorest sellers for Allure.

Though it was the economic downturn that influenced. The girls appeared on the November and December issues of the beauty title, which both sold 190,000 copies each.

And the best face for the glossy was Victoria Beckham! Her August cover sold 273,000 copies.

The Hills star Lauren Conrad was the best seller for Shape, 447,969 copies were sold in January. However, November issue featuring Ripa, sold just 258,200 copies unfortunately.

Self magazine was best sold in September (376,000 copies) featuring Jennifer Lopez. But fewer readers were interested in Renee Zellweger who became Self’s worst seller in October, selling 254,000 copies.

I wonder why Barack Obama wasn’t among A-listers? Last year was all about him, everywhere and all the time…
