She commented:

I think if you’re not willing to wear your own clothes, you’re doing something wrong. This line was meant to be about my style and pieces I want to walk into a store and want to buy. If you’re not wearing your own line, you’re taking all the fun out of it.”

By the way, Victoria Beckham has also recently claimed she likes her own styles a lot and she definitely proves her words by wearing the pieces of her dress ranges.

The designer has signed a deal with publishers Harper Collins and will give readers advice on how to recreate her look.

Lauren, who has her own range of clothing for US department store Kohl’s, comments:

I am really excited to write a style guide. I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”

Beside tips and advice, the book will contain new and never-before-seen photos of a ‘Hills’ star.

The style guide is set to release late next year.

As usual I’ve compiled a list of best dressed celebrity attendees that includes 10 persons. And the first to mention here will be Vanessa Hudgens, the 20-year-old Bandslam star.

She looked stunning in an orange Max Azria dress and matching Jimmy Choo shoes.

She accessorized her look with lots of tiny bracelets, two long chains with beautiful pendants and a box-like clutch. She is number one on my list!

The next girl to be described here is Miley Cyrus who wore a Moschino Cheap and Chic nude silk halter dress paired with Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James jewels and high-stiletto shoes. Her dress looked modest but super classy. Good choice, Miley!

The 16-year-old Hanna Montana star is followed by Ashley Tisdale. The actress opted for a mini purple leather Elise Overland dress and absolutely perfect wedge strappy shoes.

A ring that attracted everybody’s attention was designed by Loree Rodkin. She also wore a Balenciaga belt and a clutch by the same brand. She looked gorgeous!

Leighton Meester showed her nice shape with an Emilio De La Morena cut-out dress. Purple suede booties and Cathy Waterman jewels added sophistication to the look.

The fifth on my list is Megan Fox with her mini black and gold strapless brocade dress by Dolce&Gabbana. Her black strappy shoes and a clutch complemented the look. Simple but glamorous!

Audrina Patridge’s dress was covered with sequins all over and it definitely looked good! I liked her choice of the dress but to my mind the shoes and the clutch were a bit out of place.

That is why she is just number six.

The MTV reality starlet Stephanie Pratt wore a little black ruffled dress with a grey-toned belt and black suede shoes. She looked perfect!

The 23-year-old actress, Lauren Conrad, looked fantastic in a Moschino red and navy floral print sleeveless dress with a ruffled skirt and Chrisitian Loubotin sandals. She wore no jewelry probably making people focus on her dress. Why not? An interesting idea.

Sienna Miller donned a backless green Swarovski mini dress from her own collection, the Twenty8Twelve. It looked pretty, with no abundant details. Very simple but still beautiful!

And the last to mention is Paris Hilton, a girl that is everywhere, showing herself. Her fashion option for this evening was a peach-colored mini dress with a tender floral detail. The clutch and the shoes were sparkling silver. The combination was wonderful!

Well, I guess, now my list is complete. I hope you liked the dresses as much as I did!

According to the Audit Bureau of Circulations I’m happy to tell you that Victoria Beckham, Angelina Jolie and Lauren Conrad turned out to be among the most salable cover faces for fashion magazines in 2008.

At the same time Nicole Kidman, Rachel Weisz and Carrie Underwood were the least.

Of course that doesn’t mean it is the stars’ fault the issues didn’t sell so well. There are many factors to have caused that.

For instance, some of the worst-selling issues were published in January, which is typically a soft month for newsstand sales, or around the holidays, when people were anxious about more urgent economic concerns.

At Vogue, September was very successful having sold 559,000 copies, while the October issue with Weisz on the cover was the glossy’s poorest seller, with only 276,000 copies.

The fall fashion issue had Keira Knightley as the face of the cover.

Elle witnessed the dramatic boost of sales in January with Beckham on the cover. This January issue sold 413,000 copies. The worst was December’s Underwood, registering 253,611.

Jolie’s face was extremely popular with consumers of Vanity Fair and W.

Vanity Fair’s July issue sold 504,785 single copies, while W magazine’s November issue moved 78,000 issues.

Vanity Fair’s slowest seller was “Grey’s Anatomy” star Katherine Heigl, who sold 314,000 copies in January.

And Hilary Swank became the worst performer for January issue of W, selling 27,000 on the newsstand.

Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria Parker promoted the best sales of the year for In Style’s March issue, 888,912 copies were sold.

The underperformer was July with Anne Hathaway at 585,170 issues.

Marie Claire’s best faces were the stars of Sex and The City on July cover.

The issue sold 440,948 copies. The December issue with Jennifer Connelly was the worst performer, with just 191,000 copies.
Harper’s Bazaar hit its records having sold 213,195 copies of its March issue featuring a bad girl Lindsay Lohan on its cover, but November cover with Drew Barrymore wasn’t as buyable and sold 119,501 copies.
Lucky’s September issue with Milla Jovovich gracing for its cover sold best – 336,000 issues, whilst the June issue with Amanda Peet registered only 205,000 copies.

Speaking about Glamour, I can say that Jessica Simpson was the best-purchased cover-girl. The June issue sold 775,000 issues, which was the highest rate for Glamour last year.

Sorry to mention that but our beloved Kidman wasn’t as popular: her December cover sold 460,000 copies — the worst single-copy sales in recent history for the title.

Cosmopolitan felt thankful to Scarlett Johansson in August for the fact the magazine issue sold nearly 2 million copies.

But the worst seller for the year, you’d be surprised, was Simpson on its December issue having sold 1,565,128 copies. As you see her results vary from one magazine to another.

Despite promoting the best sales for InStyle and Cosmopolitan Eva Longoria Parker and Johansson were the poorest sellers for Allure.

Though it was the economic downturn that influenced. The girls appeared on the November and December issues of the beauty title, which both sold 190,000 copies each.

And the best face for the glossy was Victoria Beckham! Her August cover sold 273,000 copies.

The Hills star Lauren Conrad was the best seller for Shape, 447,969 copies were sold in January. However, November issue featuring Ripa, sold just 258,200 copies unfortunately.

Self magazine was best sold in September (376,000 copies) featuring Jennifer Lopez. But fewer readers were interested in Renee Zellweger who became Self’s worst seller in October, selling 254,000 copies.

I wonder why Barack Obama wasn’t among A-listers? Last year was all about him, everywhere and all the time…

And she tells Seventeen that season 5 of The Hills will be the show’s last.

My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still a great thing. I always want to remember it that way….I gave MTV a deadline and said, ‘This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.’”

It was strange that Paris Hilton was chatting away with her ex-boyfriend Benji Madden all night. As you know they split.

Paris was dressed in a black floral print dress, fishnet stockings and heels. I think she is better in bright or naturel colors.

Her sister Nicky Hilton wore a creamy nude bustier drop-waist ruffled short dress and open-toe shoes of the same color. As for me her gown looked like sleepwear.

The Simple Life star Nicole Richie and her Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous rocker boyfriend Joel Madden both were super-stylish D&G ensembles and hit the arrivals area for a bit of posing for the photographers before heading inside.

The Hills starlet and fashion designer Lauren Conrad looked nice in a sleeveless retro black minidress teamed with black opaque stockings and black heels.

Actress Gabrielle Union’s curve-hugging, ’70s-inspired D&G gown hits the right notes when paired with those black peep-toe pumps.

This is a fabulous D&G black velvet dress, and it looks perfect on Jennifer Morrison. But it looks usual and has no spices.
