The first weird outfit Leona Lewis wore to Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never premiere. A high-wasted black skirt was paired with a lip top that looked really odd. Not stylish, not funny but odd.

And yesterday at the 2nd Annual Black Women in Music Event Leona shocked everyone once again by appeared on the black carpet in a similar quirky sheer top with a bright yellow bow over her chest.

To add to these there are rumors Leona Lewis has designed these two outfits herself! Considering the fact she is planning to launch an ethical line in the near future I wonder who will buy the clothes made by her if they look that ‘distinctive’.

Roberto Cavalli Spring/ Summer 2011 fashion show was one of the star-studded during Milan Fashion Week. Leona Lewis and Taylor Swift were among those invited A-listers who sat in the front row at the show.

Taylor Swift looked super chic in her bold outfits that comprised a pleated skirt, cream-colored blouse, patterned tights and laced boots.

Leona Lewis opted for a more classic look. The singer wore a little black dress, a jacket and black pumps to the event.

Other front row attendees at Roberto Cavalli Spring/ Summer 2011 fashion show were : Elisabetta Canalis (I love her shoes!!!), Heidi Klum, Rachel Bilson and one of the most honorable guests – Anna Wintour.

Her outfits are usually great but they are mostly funky and extravagant rather than womanly.

In the interview for the magazine Leona speaks about men, relationship and fashion. Read and know more about the star.

Leona Lewis on being a diva: “I don’t think I’m demanding!” she says. “I think it’s okay to ask how you want your food cooked [etc., being that she's vegetarian]. People just dramatise everything.”

On her relationship with Simon Cowell: “I’m very fiery and very passionate.” Just ask Simon Cowell. Legend has it that he’s even allowed Leona to say no to him. “We don’t argue, we debate,” she laughs about her relationship with Cowell, who always lets her have the last word.

On men and Taylor Lautner: She’s friends with Chace Crawford, has worked with the “very sexy” Justin Timberlake (who reportedly put off his 28th birthday celebrations to record their duet “Don’t Let Me Down” until the early hours) and has some kind of passion for Twilight’s star Taylor Lautner (“I was obsessed for a while”). If she’s never been linked with any of them, it’s because “the press know I’m in a serious relationship”, she says.

On her fashion sense and fashion range with Stella Mccartney: “I still love my big ballgowns with a kind of twist to them, but I also like Vivienne Westwood because she’s kind of punky and does really nice shapes for ladies. I like Antonio Berardi because I like his shapes too. And William Tempest. And I like Stella McCartney because she’s got a vegetarian range. I love Stella. I want to do a vegetarian range of clothing. I haven’t had time to properly focus on it, but I’m still designing.”

On her beliefs: She refused to open the Harrods sale because it sells fur. “I really believe in standing up for what you believe in.”

On her decision not to strip off for photos: “I would never even do a bikini shoot. It’s too embarrassing”.

Moreover, Leona loves fashion and this makes it even more difficult. She often chooses her outfits in Stella McCartney’s ranges but her dream is to create her own line that will include clothing that she would love to wear.

She said:

I’m trying to make that happen as soon as I can. It’s a challenge – mostly with shoes – as I don’t wear any leather and am very ethical about what I wear. I love wearing Stella McCartney, but one day I hope to have to my own line of ethical clothes and accessories.”

Now Leona works on her looks. She likes getting “creative” and her team helps her a lot.

She told vogue.com:

I really enjoy fashion and I love being creative. I work with a couple of stylists but I love fashion so am always looking online and in magazines for inspiration. I have so much fun working with my hair, make-up and styling team – we are always laughing. I do get a bit nervous though as I start having to get in the car, but once I’m on the carpet I really enjoy myself.”

Kristen Stewart was one of those who attended this event. The actress wore a Pucci Origami Strapless Wool Dress that looked good on her. Kristen felt happy at the ceremony as she was named the Woman of the Year.

Naomi Campbell looked fantastic in Alexander McQueen’s dress and a pair of perfect black heels. The supermodel received the Outstanding Contribution award for all her charity job.

Leona Lewis looked classy in a black frock complimented with a black hat, lace fingerless gloves and beige shoes. The attire was gorgeous but it seems to me Leona looks older in it.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen looked beautiful and trendy in their outfits probably created by themselves.

Carey Mulligan didn’t sport a dress on the red carpet but appeared wearing a black pencil skirt and a blue blouse with a black belt.

Sisters Kylie and Dannii Minogue were together at the party. Kylie looked fabulous in her strapless LBD. Dannii rocked a yellow one-shoulder gown that covered her baby bump beautifully.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley opted for a red sexy frock that flattered her figure a lot.

Donna Ari went for a chic sparkling black dress, a yellow clutch and a pair of silver shoes.

Sophie Ellis Bextor looked stunning in her navy Grecial-style dress.

The women that didn’t impress me with their fashion choices for the evening were Daisy Lowe who looked horrible in her Miu Miu dress with cut-outs, Claudia Schiffer in her shapeless total black dress and Nicola Roberts who chose a bright pink outfit that was too short.

The ladies looked perfect, as usual at such events, wearing chic evening gowns and dressy outfits. The list of well-dressed included: Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis, Geri Halliwell, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke, and others.

A very special person, that doesn’t fit into the list of best-dressed because she is just incomparable, was Lady GaGa. The star sported a fabulous white lacy bodysuit, a pair of lacy ankle boots, a lacy face mask and a huge blonde wig. Her look made everyone turn back and smile. Real furore, both in fashion and performance!

Gorgeous Kylie Minogue wore a black outfit that looked great on her. Lingerie as outwear trend does look good!

Leona Lewis opted for a metallic silver William Tempest dress, pink heels and a chic wide bracelet. By the way, the dress wasn’t the most flattering!

Ke$ha looked like her usual self, unfashionable and tattered. Her choice for the event was a black frock with a light feathered coat. Horrible shoes completed the look.

Lily Allen looked slim in her black-red attire and this must have been the main goal for her as the outfit itself wasn’t pretty.

Alicia Keys was in a sparkling black mini-dress and a pair of Louboutin shoes. Beautiful!

Geri Halliwell was total white in contrast to Alicia. The girl rocked a short assymetrical dress and a tiara in her hair.

Alexandra Burke looked sexy and chic in a red strapless gown with a big bow in front.
Florence Welsh opted for a super-small beige dress and a pair of matching heels. Alicia Dixon shone in her glitzy frock.

Courtney Love and Cat Deeley wore embellished dresses but, unfortunately, that didn’t make them the most notable on the red carpet.

Leona Lewis, whose song I See You was used in the movie, looked absolutely perfect and outshined everyone else present on the blue (not red!!!) carpet. The singer wore a floor-sweeping strapless silver dress embellished with millions of sparkling stones. A pair of matching peep-toe heels completed the look.

Zoe Saldana, one of the main characters in Avatar, turned heads too. She appeared at the premiere donning a white Versace mini-dress with silver and gold panels and gold shoes.

Michelle Rodriues looked beautiful in a purple strapless gown with frills on the hemline.

However, it never happens that everyone looks great. This time it was Audrina Patridge who spoilt the scene.

The actress looked really weird in a green and black ensemble with strappy heels. I don’t understand why people who have enough money but no taste don’t hire a specialist if they cannot dress well themselves.

The premiere was held in Los Angeles at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. Avatar hits theaters nationwide today (December 18th).

Though the project is in the early stages yet there are so many talks about it in the news. Stella hopes it will be launched next year.

The fashion designer said:

I’m working with Morrissey on a line of leather-free shoes which I’m really excited about. We are still in the early stages, but the shoes could be launched next year.”

This isn’t the only venture Stella is to go for. It was recently revealed that she was in talks with Leona Lewis to make an animal friendly fashion range.
