Lily Allen is taking her new fashion venture seriously. She has recently annouced about the opening of her designer clothing rental shop in London. And now there is the news that she has invited a camera crew into her life to record a U.K. TV series about her fashion hobby and job.

It is reported that the singer has agreed to star in a TV show about the launch of her line and the shop called Lucy in Disguise that she is to run with half-sister Sarah Owen.
The documentary will also show us Lily as she starts up her own record label.
A source close to the gril told Britain’s The Sun:
Lily was approached about the TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better.”
Well, what I can say is: Good Luck, Lily!

Lily Alen is trying to find herself in the myriad of activities a young lady can do. She’s been a rather popular singer for years, designed a range of dresses, shoes and accessories for New Look called Lily Loves, fronted Chanel handbags campaigns and now is going to sell vintage dresses. Besides, she is planning to launch a record label, music charity and website. But, unfortunately with such a busy schedule she won’t be able to keep on her singing career.

However, Lily is very excited about her new life and especially the clothing label.
She said:
I’m doing a vintage clothes shop with my sister, it’s amazing stuff that would be really expensive but we’re renting it [out] for a fraction of the price, so girls can come and get dressed up for a night out and have a laugh.”

To launch Vintage at Goodwood with her designer friend Wayne Hemingway the British star put on a red vintage dress and a chic black shawl to cover herself. She looked fabulous in this outfit and really happy posing for the camera.

This music event had been expected for long in Britain and finally it took place yesterday, on February 16. The luckiest, and the most talented, got the desired trophies while some remained empty-handed. However, everyone enjoyed the time.
The ladies looked perfect, as usual at such events, wearing chic evening gowns and dressy outfits. The list of well-dressed included: Kylie Minogue, Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis, Geri Halliwell, Pixie Lott, Alexandra Burke, and others.

A very special person, that doesn’t fit into the list of best-dressed because she is just incomparable, was Lady GaGa. The star sported a fabulous white lacy bodysuit, a pair of lacy ankle boots, a lacy face mask and a huge blonde wig. Her look made everyone turn back and smile. Real furore, both in fashion and performance!

Gorgeous Kylie Minogue wore a black outfit that looked great on her. Lingerie as outwear trend does look good!
Leona Lewis opted for a metallic silver William Tempest dress, pink heels and a chic wide bracelet. By the way, the dress wasn’t the most flattering!

Ke$ha looked like her usual self, unfashionable and tattered. Her choice for the event was a black frock with a light feathered coat. Horrible shoes completed the look.

British singer Lily Allen graces Harper’s Bazaar Russia January 2010 issue. She looks pretty and stylish, sometimes playful and at some pictures she looks vulgar.

Lily wears chic clothes from couture: Valentino, Christian Lacroix, D&G, Vivienne Westwood, Antonio Berardi, Christian Dior, Chanel. And accessories aren’t simple either. The headwear comes from Red Label by Vivienne Westwood, for example.

The photos feature one of the hottest trends of nowadays – lingerie as outwear. The star wears various corsets, stockings and garter. Some pieces come from Agent Provocateur, British-based lingerie brand.

British songbird Lily Allen covers Elle Russia December 2009 issue. The girl looks nice but not chic as might the publishers consider. I’ve seen better covers…

She wears lots of Chanel, including clothes, bags, headwear and other stuff.

The girl reveals that singing isn’t what she plans to do in her further life. She wants to try herself in acting and achive success in that sphere.
Lily says:
The days of me making money from recording music have been and gone as far as I’m concerned”.

I’ve never thought Chanel would go so far trying to increase their sales, but it’s happening right now.

Lily Allen’s mannequin has been put out in the windows of one of the Chanel boutiques to promote the range of hanbags the singer showcased in ad pictures. The big doll was even stylished the same way Lily Allen had been during the photoshoot.

The Cocoon bags Lily Allen represents have been called cheap and classless. Besides, they are very expensive taking into account the fabric they are made of. I would never pay $2300 for a nylon bag with a famous logo.

I have never thought the crazy idea of Playboy bunny ears will go any further than the catwalk show. But as we see those mad ears ARE trendy now.

Since Louis Vuitton launched the headwear celebrities have tried to adopt those into their outfits. Of course, these were very bold ladies, like Madonna, Lady Gaga, the Olsens and Lily Allen.

According to Marc Jacobs, who is to blame for the new trend, he got the inspiration from a member of his design team wearing fabric tied around her head in a bow that resembled ears.

I still think they ears are not wearable, at least in everyday life. What do you think about it?

Lily Allen is getting more and more involved into the fashion industry. She has been the face for Chanel handbags, launched her jewelry line and now says she wants to create a range of unisex clothes.

She has been discussing the collaboration over the range with her close friend Kim Jones, who is the creative director of Davidoff. But both decided to put off the plans for a while until Lily’s new jewelry collection didn’t come out.
The singer said:
My best friend Kim and I are talking about designing a unisex range of clothing. He’ll do men’s shirts and I’ll make a shirt dress, and we’d like to do jersey sweatshirts with cashmere linings.”
Lily unveiled her new jewelry line on July 27. The collection includes coin, animal and fruit pendants and is reported to hit stores in September this year. The price will range between $49 and $164.
Lily said:
I really enjoyed it. I had more creative control than when I had a collection at New Look and I really cared about what these pieces looked like. If your name is on the box you make sure it looks good.”
