Elle Macpherson has her own range of lingerie Elle Macpherson Intimates which is rather successful. The supermodel thinks the success is explaned by the fact she and her designer team work hard on making pieces comfortable, well-fitting and flattering. Knowing that women come in various shapes is essential Elle believes.
She said:
I’m conscious when I’m designing lingerie of the need to create for all different types of women, so that my designs enhance the proportions of a woman’s body. Most women want to make their hips look narrower and their breasts look bigger.”
The 46-year-old Australian beauty says she spends a lot of time working on designs that would be good for different body shapes. She has recently launched a maternity range as well to make sure women could find perfect bras.
The mother-of-two told Fabulous magazine:
We create bras for all body types and cup sizes. I’ve just launched a range of D-G cups and it’s phenomenally successful. We also created a maternity line because I couldn’t find anything pretty, comfortable and practical on the market when I was breastfeeding my sons.”

Bar Refaeli loves wearing cheap underwear and thinks buying more expensive pieces is just a waste of money.
The supermodel, who really has enough finances to provide herself with good lingerie, considers cheaper alternatives as good as dearer ones.
She told America’s OK! magazine:
I like cheap underwear. I never buy expensive underwear. I think it’s so unnecessary.”
The 24-year-old has recently been invited to front Rampage Clothing. She has posed for a number of photographs in their new spring collection and looked gorgeous as always.
Dari Marder, the chief marketing officer for the brand, says Bar was chosen because of her “sexy” attitude, “beautiful face”, and “warm” personality.
She said:
Bar was chosen because she personifies how we see our Rampage customer, which is this naturally sexy, confident, glamorous girl. These are the clothes that she wears, and it’s her lifestyle. She was wearing baggy jeans and a t-shirt. No makeup. Clean face. Wet hair. And just as beautiful. It’s crazy, but she looks as beautiful that way, natural and clean-faced, as she does in our pictures. She’s one of those girls. She doesn’t need any makeup. Makeup enhances and dresses her look up, but she is a natural beauty.”
There’s this warmth that emanates from her. It’s her beautiful face, and then there’s that twinkle in her eye. She’s totally approachable, warm and friendly. You don’t expect a girl that beautiful to be approachable, engaging and lovely. She’s very gracious to everybody, friendly, warm, huggy. She’s very, very warm.”

British singer Lily Allen graces Harper’s Bazaar Russia January 2010 issue. She looks pretty and stylish, sometimes playful and at some pictures she looks vulgar.
Lily wears chic clothes from couture: Valentino, Christian Lacroix, D&G, Vivienne Westwood, Antonio Berardi, Christian Dior, Chanel. And accessories aren’t simple either. The headwear comes from Red Label by Vivienne Westwood, for example.
The photos feature one of the hottest trends of nowadays – lingerie as outwear. The star wears various corsets, stockings and garter. Some pieces come from Agent Provocateur, British-based lingerie brand.

Emily Blunt feels terrified each time she needs to step on the red carpet. The Devil Wears Prada actress confessed that awards season is something she always gets nervous of , because it means she would be judged again, all over, especially her fashion choices. And this fear obviously bears little unpleasant accidents the star often has.
She said:
I always get that panic when I step out of the car that everyone is going to hate it. I’ve had zippers that have broken too. Once when I was about to go on The Ellen Degeneres Show, my sister looked at the back of my legs and went ‘Ohmygod!’ I had a huge ladder up the back of my leg and the women on the show had to run around like chickens without their heads on to find me some new stockings.”
Emily has also revealed she doesn’t like corsets much as her body is left numb from wearing those. When she was starring in The Young Victoria she had to wear extremely restrictive corsets. She couldn’t feel her body during shooting.
However, practice helps and Emily has got used to this type of lingerie too and knows how to ease the discomfort from it.
She said:
I learned how to survive when they lace you tight. It takes getting used to. You must inhale so your rib cage expands. This way, after you’re all done up you can have room to breathe.”

Although I don’t really understand this Bunny-ears-mania this hot trend is featured again, this time in Zink Holiday 2009 edition.
Alina Rock wears the Louis Vuitton’s invention as well as other modern fashion trends. Thigh-high boots, lingerie as outwear, sheer fabrics and other fresh tendencies are seen in the issue.
The photo shoot is entitled “House Arrest” but the American model doesn’t look upset at all. She makes fun of ordinary things and enjoys her time being alone.

Victoria’s Secret Lingerie Fashion Show was one of the most expected and discussed.
And as it turned out all this buzz was not in vain. The designs the world-known company presented this year were fabulous.
The show was absolutely grandiose. It was held at The Armory – Runway New York City, USA – 19.11.09
The models strutted the catwalk together with Black Eyed Peas live singing.
Fergie sang at the show!
The Angels showed off themselves a lot and we understand why, the sets they were wearing were the most perfect anyone had ever seen.
Some designs were nice but simple, some were playful but there were also those which couldn’t be watched without holding one’s breath.

Alessandra Ambrosio and Ana Beatriz Barros have teamed up for a steamy photoshoot for GQ UK December 2009 issue. The two Victoria’s Secret Angels look super hot in black bikinis near a pool with pure blue water.
Besides, the Brazilian duo pose in lingerie sets which flatter their perfect bodies a lot.
Although the pictures have been photoshopped hugely we still can see how beautiful the girls are. I don’t think they needed retouching much.
Alessandra Ambrosio has already returned to her ideal proportions after having a baby earlier this year.
Both girls will participate in an annual VS show. Can’t wait to see it!

City life is great. Everything’s fast, energetic, even crazy sometimes, but this is why we love cities so much – for their enegry. However, rural life is perfect in some way, too.
