Every single look in Loewe Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection included a leather or a fur piece. Plenty of chic leather coats came in a diversity of colors, from neutral black to bright and bold red. Silhouettes ranged from strict and classic to cocoon shapes with cropped sleeves.

Of all leather skirt suits and dresses in Loewe Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection the cossack green mini was the most amazing while the black frock embellished with stones was the smartest for the evening.

However, to promote even the best things in our world one needs to shoot a good campaign. This is a hard task to complete sometimes.

Although Loewe’s executives hired gorgeous Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington Whiteley, dressed those in beautiful garments, and even were very creative in choosing interesting places for the pictorial, the adverts didn’t impress in the result.

Loewe Fall/ Winter 2010/ 2011 advertising campaign looks dull and boring, just ordinary photos of girls shopping or putting their luggage in a car. Nothing is special and the color palette isn’t attractive.

The pictures were taken somewhere in a magical place where absolutely perfect blue flowers bloom. There is even a feeling that this girl and the place are just unreal, so nice and fairy them seem.

Daria looks great in pretty Loewe clothing. I especially like the orange top and of course the luxurious bags.

I like Gisele Bundchen and do think she is fabulous but this ad campaign for Spanish Loewe doesn’t show her in her best. 

At the photos she is sitting in awkward positions and looks older than she is.

The handbags being advertised are not perfect and look much like many others we already have at the market.

Probably I’m too strict to the company but this what comes to my mind when I see the bags. Even so beautiful model cannot make them look better.

An intimate connection between the viewer and Gisele was important, with strong eye contact.

We wanted it to really feel like the bags belonged to Gisele, so we kept silhouettes and poses natural, focusing on our most iconic shapes and expressing the softness, ease and high quality of the leather goods.

We wanted Gisele to look beautiful and mysterious, and for the viewer to wonder what is happening in this opulent, sparse Spanish apartment! Shot from unexpected angles with a twisted perspective, she is sometimes bold, sometimes provocative, with a taste for luxury but also for the unexpected, as carefully measured amounts of flesh peep out from a signature leather trench or huge cashmere scarf. Bold hand gestures and flourishes of the arms lend a strong twist, recalling authentic, sensual Spanish dance.

Gisele represents perfectly the Loewe woman, modern, strong, cool and sexy – balancing polish with ease. For this campaign we wanted to focus on the soul and heritage of the house, presented in a rich and modern way.”
