But I think it wil be more interesting to see different swimwear collections in detail.

Hot swimwear ideas for Summer 2009 were presented by “D’Amore by Marceau” at the Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week on October 14, 2008.

Laurent Planeix and Caroline D’Amore made what they call “glamour swimwear,” as clearnessed in their Spring 2009 line.

In the range you can see various patterns from zebra prints, and metallic polka dots to emitation of wet leather, shiny bronze snake skin pattern.

D’Amore by Marceau line is chic with rationalization cut-away shapes suiting all figure shapes of modern women.

There were :

• Colored mini bikini

• Interesting front and back cutout one-piece swimsuit

• A black plunging neckline halter one-piece swimsuit

• Different variations of wild zebra prints.
• Bandeau one-piece swimsuits in various color-blocked patterns and materials



• Swimsuits with single-shoulder straps, and others with thin halter straps.

• Butterfly motives

Colors were black, bronze and silver

Universally, the vivid colors and patterns of the debut range D’Amore by Marceau will find multitude takers in all sizes provided as they do not mind getting untraditional tan lines.

The Pussycat Dolls:, Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton and Ashley Roberts, launched their exclusive line “…Shhh” at La Senza in London on Tuesday afternoon (November 18) The line was unexpectedly a hit earlier this year when they presented collection at Los Angeles Fashion Week in March.

The collection, made up of lingerie, cami sets and burlesque-style corsets is designed to be perfect and sexy.

PCD cuties were charming and sweet signing autographs and posing for cameras.

The collection was launched globally of November 10th, 2008. The line is available exclusively in select La Senza stores as well as through the La Senza ecommerce website.

The fashion show by Robin Antin on March 13 2008 at Los Angeles Fashion week was punctuated by an abridged caricature act and a Pussycat Dolls fulfilment.

After a concise catwalk display of micro-minis with corset lacing and graffiti-covered bra-and-panty sets, break dancers took the stage.

They were followed by four women in sexy shorts and hooded jackets, who straddled chairs as they sluggishly stripped down to leopard-print lingerie.

Dolls’ Nicole Scherzinger, wearing a black skirt and corset, provided the soundtrack.

The fashion show was summarized with an array of ornate underwear nearly all trimmed with ruffles and ribbons.

There were striped, sailor-themed sets and sheer bras with barely there bottoms.

As for me, the collection is good, but I think it can be a way hotter. They are Pussycat Dolls, right?

The backdrop decorated with picture of the Eiffel tower and a bicycle on the runway that really did make you feel like you were in Paris!

Samora’s spring 2009 line was heavily influenced by la vie francaise.

High-waisted skirts and short jumpers, day dresses, and plenty of flounces and ruffles were pretty and ladylike, and organza overcoats channeled Audrey Hepburn.

The row also included white trousers and blouses, with some rumpled in black and paired up with a layered mint green skirt that looked admirable together, and sheer robes.

Favorites included a white dress with pockets that had a sheer rectangle over the chest making it not your customary bridle, and a floral dress that had ruffles and a v neck hemline as well as a bow that parceled around and cinched the waist.

Stylish was the flawless word for her gorgeous and stunning line.

There were lots of ruffles, ruffles, ruffles! Samora was all about the ruffles for Spring 2009.

Gowns were in ruffles from necklines, to hemlines that gave each part a flirty feel to it, making it perfect.

The floral decorations were a bit matronly.

Lengths of dresses ranged from short such as an charming pinstriped dress that was ornamented with white lace, as well as a long, full of size princess mango dress-perfect for any occasion, but this pink corset dress was out of place.

Some were sleeveless, bridle, and thongly.

Pinstripe and brilliant colors were the theme of the show.

Palettes included mint green, black, mango, and shades of pink.

Patterns were remarkable floral prints that brought you right to spring and painted everything in flowery colors.

Gloves are one of the main accessories presented in the collection. They’re one of the hottest trends, and Samora presented her own idea of fab gloves for spring 2009.

Half-gloves are made of leather, not covering the hand in full. Gloves were predominantly of black, white and black-and white color, looking beautiful and unique.

Heidi Klum stylish Project Runway arbiter raved about Christian Audigier while attending his fashion show on day four, October 15,  of L.A. Fashion Week.

I love him! I think he’s really talented—doing Ed Hardy, and doing Christian Audigier,” told Klum, who wore a Giambattista Valli top and Erin Fetherston skirt.

The German model was spotted tete-a-tete with fashion design icon Christian Audigier at the Christian Audigier Presents American Lord Spring 2009 show.

Klum was working it like a pro, athletic a rose-printed silk blouse with a black leather miniskirt and a black leather handbag.

Miley Cyrus

Disney star Miley Cyrus was looking like a fashionista. Her look was nothing short of glamour. Hannaha Montana wore a sleeveless black blouse, slim fit black J Brand Jeans, animal print heels, and a bevy of vintage-style necklaces.

Selena Gomez

Young star Selena Gomez wore Eco-Ganik to the line’s Spring 2009 and was looking beautiful in a brown halter-style top with slim-fit jeans and peep-toe heels at Mercedes-Benz LA Fashion Week October 15.

The line is so comfortable—I honestly feel like I’m not wearing anything,” said Gomez, whose on-set practices are equally green: “On our set, we don’t use water bottles anymore and we recycle every single one of our scripts.”

The Wizards of Waverly Place star has just signed on to be the spokesperson for children’s charity UNICEF’s 2008 Trick-or-Treat campaign.

Amy Smart

Acrtess Amy Smart was at front row to support earth-friendly line Viridis Luxe on day three at L.A. Fashion Week. She was wearing a dress from the line. Green fashion has been a theme throughout L.A. Fashion Week.

I wear as much organic cotton, bamboo and any material that`s also sustainable for the planet,” said Smart.

Viridis Luxe is committed to making beautiful, luxurious clothing using ethical, eco-friendly methods and materials. This line is all the way functional, feminine, and eco conscious.

Despite the fact that often functional and eco consious do not equate to feminine and beautiful, Viridis Luxe was able to combine those. The materials used were hemp cashmere blends, hemp silk blends, and bamboo.

Organic cotton tees and tanks and cashmere shrugs and draped tops comprised the laid back, casual feel to the collection. Each look evoked a completely effortless but put together feel, perfect for summer afternoons.

Hala Bahmet’s line looks casual, but with touches of trends that almost make you forget how much hemp is involved. A lot of denim is used but being combined with a tie-neck blouse or something other which is on-trend the model looks adorable, comfy, sexy, and edgy at the same time.

The spring palette we’re seeing at every Los Angeles Spring 09 show – melons, yellows, greens – is seen again in this collection in mostly solid pieces, some fun hibiscus-prints and a little basic black which will all become next spring’s wardrobe staples.

The outfits were accessorized with thick chain linked necklaces, newsboy caps and umbrellas. Those hardware accessories gave Hala Bahmet’s collection some street credibility.

The line seems to be new and very special due to the combination of trendy items with casual ones. It is an ideal chice for those who dislike wearing classic but want to look elegant.

Her fashion design career is getting stronger and stronger and Lauren, 22, has been seriously considering leaving MTV hit reality show. She told press,

It’s coming to a point where I love this show so much, but I’m ready to kind of walk away. I’ve been doing it for five years now. Five years on TV is a really, really long time.”

And on October 14 she looked perfect and assured at her Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week Spring 2009 show.

The Lauren Conrad fashion collection was awesome!

Inspired by spring, her romantic and frisky collection is great for anyone and can be worn to any event or daily.

The row targeted young women with an all soft feel to it. Sweet and simple as well as glam and sexy came out one by one.

Clothes varied and incorporeal dresses in maxi lengths, halter, bubble, strapless and natural waist fitting styles.

High-waisted shorts, skirts and leggings were matched with striking blouses that looked fab for a spring night.

Ruffles, layers, pleats, open back designs that were cut precise making a sexy look were perfectly tailored.

New fabrics were used to praise jersey and stretch sateen.

Conrad showed an marshal of solid jersey dresses, cocktail dresses, maxi. There was multitude beside those usual suspects.

Colors were springy and included shades of blue, cream, browns, deep pinks as well as neutral palettes.
There were large prints of roses that gave any outfit a fantasy look, and polka dots that made the dresses playful and fun.

We have to stay a little more safe because people are looking for classic shapes instead of fun, trendy pieces. People aren’t throwing their money around,” Conrad said

Accessories were also highlighted adding some Spring tendency and included black open peep toe shoes that are going to be hot for the upcoming season, belts that girthed the waists of dresses and skirts, black Mary Jane’s with ligneous heels, thing black flirty stilettos, as well as flat sandals that looked like a Greek Goddess would wear. A lot of catwalk models wore flowers headbands.

Lauren Conrad’s new collection has piqued the interest of some Hollywood celebrities, as best friend Lauren “Lo” Bosworth and Girls Next Door Holly Madison were both in the arrivals area before the show.

Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Jason Wahler and Kyle Howard were all in the front row, though it looks like Audrina Patridge didn’t make it. Whitney Port was in NYC shooting her new show.

Evidently Heidi made the first move to go congratulate Lauren on the show and Spencer had kind words for Lauren.

Old Hollywood glamour and style shone wide in Kevan Hall’s spring collection, with gowns suitable for modern-day versions of Dietrich, Garbo, Crawford and Bacall.

Hall was showcasing the kinds of graceful custom-made and skilled outfits that make him a red-carpet favorite with the women of Hollywood.

Front row wonders at the fashion show included Rachel Griffiths, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and Dana Delany.

Hall’s collection encouraged by 1940’s prolific costumer Adrien Gilbert, looked to classic retro shapes and fabrics such as taffeta and chiffon in stark black and white or sultry blue and pink.

Gilbert Adrian designs in the ’30s and ’40s raised the style wattage of icons Greta Garbo and Joan Crawford.

One of the best looks were a backless yellow chiffon floral printed dress nipped in at the waist and accented by a variable train, plus a soft silk chiffon dress in aquamarine with jewels gathered at the neckline.

Several outfits drew acclaims and applauds from the crowd, including one made distinct by elegant waist-to-floor pleats and an ombre style, fading from white to baby blue.

Catwalks models sporting swept-back hair in unbound chignons wore slanted berets, and thick black belts composed feminine silhouettes stimulating memories of the working girls on AMC’s ’60s-set TV show “Mad Men.”

A strapless dress in plum covered with black lace had a fab fitted bodice, with a skirt plumped up by tulle.

Kevan Hall wasn’t timid with colour, from tropical hues in row with trends this season to smooth navy and black. He also displayed total bead work. A strapless silver lamina gown glittered with tiny mirrors embedded in the top.

I was a little nervous about this show,” Hall said after receiving a standing ovation from his different fans, including actresses Rachel Griffiths, Dana Delany,Tia Mowry, Gina Torres, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and Hall’s brother, actor-director Vondie Curtis-Hall. “It was a bit different for me, this show, because I changed up the feel of the show, and went more for a classic vibe.

Lucky for Los Angeles, Hall came back with a show worthy of his muses: Hollywood’s leading ladies, and the town itself.

I think you can always find a beautiful black dress,” Hall said, ” but I like taking those slinky silhouettes and doing them in hot colors, to really make them more modern. I’m really sensitive about the color choices that I make. I try to make them really flattering and warm, and that evoke a kind of emotion.”

This Kevan Hall row continues in his tradition of designing elegant tailored gowns that fawn a woman’s body and set her immediately apart from the crowd.

Possibly that’s why Desperate Housewives star Dana Delany told Kevan Hall afterward that she now knows “exactly what she’s going to wear during awards season.”
