It’s time to say that the much rumoured Madonna’s ad campaign for Louis Vuitton has been presented with the singer showing off her figure in fishnet tights and an orange version of the ‘grass dress’ she wore to a recent UNICEF party.

On this Thursday Louis Vuitton revealed the first in a series of print ads featuring their Spring/Summer 2009 campaign spokesmodel, the Material Girl Madonna.

In the ads Madonna’s sitting in a smoky French bistro, as photographed by Steven Meisel. The pictures will be in magazines in February.

It was all Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs’ brilliant idea. Evidently, he blabed out the cutting-edge concept in a creative meeting after seeing Madonna’s concert the night before.

Miley Cyrus, a 16-year-old Disney starlet, has brought back the style of the 1980s in the third season of Hannah Montana.

Those tiered miniskirts, leopard prints and fingerless gloves look pretty well on the young girl and I guess they will soon become extremely popular among girls of her age because if Hanna wears something it immediately becomes a teen fashion.

According to costume designer, Dalhia Foroutan, the retro look was created mostly for Miley’s on-stage persona Hannah to wear, but hints of the ’80s have been used in most of the cast’s wardrobe.

Some of the outfits designs were taken from Madonna’s Lucky Star and Like a Virgin days. But the look that influenced the kid’s style the most was that Madonna’s careless look that people of those days remember clearly well.

With the holidays so close, our favorite stars are beginning to celebrate already.

On Wednesday night Madonna was spotted at Gucci’s swanky dinner at the Plaza Hotel.

Terrific-looking singer was wearing a green feathered mini - one of this year’s hottest trends - from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2009 collection.

She was so brilliant that it was hard to believe the singer is three months into a global tour and involved in a difficult divorce from Guy Ritchie.

Madonna, who in the past has tended to prefer longer, retro-inspired garments, showed off her slender legs wearing sexy fishnets and a pair of green gladiator shoes. The attire was accessorized by a golden belt setting off the emerald tint of her dress and massive designer bracelets. Madge proved once again that a woman can look at least a decade younger than she is.

We’ve heard nothing about Matthew Williamson for nearly two years. And his chic designs are set to make a comeback on the rails of high street department store Debenhams next year as part of its designer womenswear collection.

Financial Mail reports that Williamson, who kept on working with the store designing accessories and lingerie, will once again join the likes of Antoni & Alison, Julien Macdonald and Jasper Conran, who all produce diffusion ranges with Debenhams at present time.

Spring 2009 may bring a new view — Style.com reports came today that Versace face singer Madonna will be the new face of the Spring 2009 respected French luxury Louis Vuitton line. The photoshoot will be made by popular photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

After Jennifer Lopez, Uma Thurman and Scarlett Johansson, Madonna will be seen accrediting the brand, it has arised.

Madonna worked with Dior and Dolce and Gabbana before. She wants more and the fashion wants her.

Cropped leather jackets

Biker vibe is in the air this autumn. Cropped jackets top the trend list. Jessica Simpson does too her magazine cover for British Elle. Elle magazine availed of her cover-girl prowess for their September 2008 issue. As always, Jessica looks wonderful thanks to the help of at least 10 graphics artists.

Jessica Simpson said about the period immediately following her 2005 split from ex-husband Nick Lachey.
She said:

I was going through a lot of pain. I didn’t try anything to change my life other than dating different types of guys and conforming to their worlds. I thought I had to be artsier, more intellectual. Most of the guys I dated were captivated by my heart, but they had different ways of trying to get to me. Tony understands me. He appreciates my talent. Material Girl has asked Givenchy to design outfits for her upcoming world tour.

The French fashion house has confirmed its head designer Ricardo Tisci will be creating Madonna’s wardrobe for her “Sticky and Sweet” world tour. Givenchy spokeswoman Caroline Deroche-Pasquier revealed Madonna now has two Givenchy outfits.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have been given the opportunity to offer the world of Givenchy Haute Couture to Madonna the Icon, the Artist, the Woman for whom I have so much respect and admiration,” Tisci, who is famous for his gothic influence and use of dark fabrics, said.

Enter Riccardo Tisci with his dark and almost gothic vision of fashion. Fashion pundits are still debating whether he will be Givenchy’s salvation. The detractors are saying that Tisci does not have the ‘light touch’ that Hubert di Givenchy has, while Tisci’s supporters are saying that it is actually his strength.

It is supposed Madonna will wear one of them when she opens the show. The first outfit is said to have a “Gangster Pimp” influence featuring a black satin coat trimmed with jet beads and a black satin waistcoat with a corseted back.

The other ensemble is of a “Gypsy” theme, and it’s to be worn in the third act of Madonna’s show, it is a long cape worn over a black dress embellished with colored ribbons.

Deroche-Pasquier said other designers will also dress the star for the tour but was reticent to say who.

[Madonna] always has these fashion collaborations, and it’s my responsibility to make sure that it’s part of the story, she says,” Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci explains. “People look forward to finding out who she is collaborating with and what designers are working on the costumes.”

Madonna has a long history of working with French designers. Jean-Paul Gaultier was behind the pointy cone bras that were the hallmarks of Madonna’s 1990 “Blonde Ambition” tour.

Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour starts in Wales on August 23.
