Rihanna, who took after Megan Fox as the face of Emporio Armani last season, tried her hand in designing. She must have been inspired by her own fashion sense as pieces that have actually been made by her sketches are very Rihanna – t-shirts, jeans, lingerie.

As you can see by the pictures in my post Rihanna wasn’t very creative despite the fact she was designing for such a world-known brand as Emporio Armani. She designed two t-shirts, one of which featured the singer’s face, and another had an Armani logo coordinated with Rihanna’s logo – ‘R’ letter – on it.

Jeans come in two styles: skinny and Rihanna’s favourite – a ‘boyfriend’ style with a tight leg. They are made of blue stretch and washed black denim.

Biker jacket and the bag are very ordinary. Lingerie is very feminine and sexy but we’ve seen so many sets of this kind already. So, nothing special again.

The line will hit stores worldwide in the middle of November.

While I find nothing interesting both about Rihanna and her designs Emporio Armani spokesperson said about her:

Hugely talented and extremely feminine, Rihanna is known for her amazing verve and incredible energy – qualities which make her the perfect choice to project and interpret the youthful, modern and captivating spirit of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. Photographed by Steven Klein Rihanna looks interesting but not really impressive. She’s photoshopped a lot to be slimmer and that white cropped wig makes her look more like a boy. But probably it was androgyny that Emporio Armani executives wanted to promote?

Megan Fox covers a popular Italian fashion magazine Amica. Gracing the September 2011 issue cover in fluffy black dress and much trendy wide brim hat. The cover and the photoshoot itself are not bad but nothing special. Fox is just being pretty and the styling is not unusual. The actress posed in a shoot wearing a white shirt, bra, and a leather jacket. In the interview with Amica Megan Fox talks tattoos, piercings, sex symbol status and a career move to comedy.

On fading Marilyn Monroe tattoo: “I’m removing it. It is a negative character, as she suffered from personality disorders and was bipolar. I do not want to attract this kind of negative energy in my life.”

On Britney Spears-style navel piercing: “I did it when I was 16-years-old because I was a fan of Britney Spears. The only time I tried to imitate someone else. But then I thought it was tacky and so I removed it when I turned 20.”

On her sex-symbol status: “What they call me sexy is not something that I can operate or shut down at will, but something that shines through as a journey, from how I talk, how I move. On the screen, I seem very sure of myself, but the real world is the place where I feel more conflict.”

On her relationship with fashion: “I like some things and I follow them. And I have a personal stylist, but I also like my stuff, my styles. If I’m not working, I prefer to dress casually. It’s hard to be fashion every day.”

On playing comedy: “I’m enjoying it. I think I prefer more. It’s more relaxing. I feel a different atmosphere around me. In comedy, everyone seems to be on set for fun.”

Fox has also talked about her vegan diet that made her lose too much weight, her career start as a fashion model, and other things. When asked if there were things she didn’t like about her body she said there are but she’s not discussing them. Megan Fox has also commented on the Twitter photos she posted to prove the public wrong about the rumored botox injections saying that it was necessary because the young girls are more inclined to turn to plastic surgery these days.

Megan looks slim and hot wearing Armani Jeans for adverts. Until now we have just one photo released and it looks pretty. What I dislike is the tattoos. The Transformers star has too many of those.

Rafael Nadal has a great shape and looks very sexy on the campaign pic for Armani Jeans but there is something wrong with the look in his eyes? Doesn’t it seem empty to you???

Glitzy dresses were among favorites at Golden Globes Awards 2011. Everyone from Scarlett Johansson to Gabourey Sidibe looked sparkling fabulous on the red carpet.

Olivia Wilde glamed it up on the red carpet for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards wearing a sumptuous strapless chocolate brown embroidered Marchesa ballgown which she teamed up with a pair of golden Christian Louboutin shoes.

Sandra Bullock looked brilliant in a pretty Jenny Packham dress. She arrived at the event alone but smiling and joked about not being as popular as Justin Bieber. She finished her look with Jimmy Choo “Jigsaw” platform shoes.

Scarlett Johansson appeared at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards in a chic Elie Saab dress that she complemented with Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry and Jimmy Choo shoes.

Angelina Jolie brightened up the red carpet of the Golden Globes 2011 with her bright emerald green Versace dress.

Anne Hathaway shimmered on the red carpet of the 2011 Golden Globe Awards in an amber-colored tone Giorgio Armani Privé evening gown. The dress was fully embellished with paillettes and Swarovski crystals.

Carrie Underwood looked fabulous in a floor-sweeping gown by Badgley Mischka. She completed her look with a Swarovski blush metallic leather clutch, Brian Atwood shoes, and Johnathon Ardnt accessories.

Gabourey Sidibe strutted down the red carpet for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards wearing a purple floral-printed maxi dress from Marc Bouwer. The dress was richly embellished with sequins.

Blue color was definitely a trend for dresses at 2011 Golden Globe Awards. Amy Adams, who has had a baby recently, showed off her perfect shape in a teal sculpted lasercut scaplloped one shoulder gown from Marchesa.

Tina Fey looked glowing on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. The 40-year-old actress wore a beautiful L’Wren Scott gown with a Swarovski velvet clutch.

Jane Krakowski appeared at the ceremony in a pretty Badgley Mischka Couture dress that covered her baby bump ideally. To complete her look Jane opted for Casadei shoes.

Mandy Moore also walked the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards wearing a blue gown created by Monique Lhuillier. The actress paired her gown with with Chopard jewelry, Brian Atwood shoes, and a Jimmy Choo bag.

Natalie Portman stood out of the crowd in a light pink strapless dress Viktor & Rolf that was decorated with a big red rose. Dior clutch and Stella McCartney platforms completed the look.

Nicole Kidman who arrived at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards with her husband Keith Urban. The two looked very happy together. Nicole wore a Prada cream gown to the event.

Another woman who appeared at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards accompanied by a husband was Heidi Klum who opted for a lovely Marc Jacobs dress, Marc Jacobs clutch and shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Sofia Vergara looked neon pink hot in a Vera Wang dress and David Webb jewels.

Christina Hendricks flattered her curved wearing a luxurious Romona Keveza’s silk crepe one shoulder gown with ruffled strap.

Claire Danes went for a simple but elegant Calvin Klein Collection dress for the 2011 Golden Globe Awards ceremony. She accessorized with earrings and a cuff by Fred Leighton.

Dianna Agron looked uber-feminine in a J. Mendel dress, Cathy Waterman jewels, and a cute clutch by Ferragamo.

Eva Longoria opted for a chic black Zac Posen dress to wear to the ceremony.

Kelly Osbourne wanted to show off her new svelte figure and decided that black Zac Posen dress would be the best to achieve her goal. Well, she looked fantastic in it!

Halle Berry, who rarely makes fashion faux pas, looked stunning in a Nina Ricci dress.

Helena Bonham, who is known for her eccentric fashion choices, wore Vivienne Westwood’s creation at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. But what she focused everybody’s attention at were the different-colored shoes.

Nina appeared at Scream 2010 Awards with her co-star and friend Kayla Ewell. The girl looked pretty in a simple strapless dress complemented with a layered necklace.

Halle Berry attracted lots of attention wearing a golden Reem Acra dress and Louboutin shoes.

The Gossip girl actress Blake Lively attended the event in a grey body suit, long silk skirt, caramel leather harness, and natural studded leather and metal sandals. Her whole look was from the latest Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Amazing!

Kristen Stewart didn’t surprise anybody with her dress. She opted for now-already-traditional-for-her clinging mini dress. This time it was black-and-white.

Emma Roberts chose a very beautiful dress for Scream 2010 Awards. Her asymmetrical lace frock looked gorgeous.

As for other ladies who attended the event, they didn’t look as good. Even Megan Fox who in majority of cases looks great this time didn’t impress me.

On where she thought she’d be now: “I was never that girl who just wanted babies. I wanted a career before all of that.”

Gabourey Sidibe on celebrating her twenty-fifth birthday: “Part of me thought it would be weird if people knew I was a grown-up playing a teenager in Precious. So I had a twenty-first-birthday party. We had drinks and went to a strip club called Shotgun Willie’s.”
