Spring 2009 exhibition “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala was held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 4).
The 2009 MET Costume Institute Gala was very popular with celebrities. There were Kate Hudson, Rihanna, Kate Bosworth, Liv Tyler, Jessica Alba, Heidi Klum, Jessica Biel, Madonna, Renee Zellweger, Victoria Beckham, Emma Roberts, Agyness Deyn and Molly Sims and many others among the guests.
The list of designers represented at last night’s gala is definitely top-notch and includes names like Marc Jacobs, Karl Lagerfeld, Zac Posen, and Kenneth Cole.
The celebrty fashion choices were different. Many of the guests were delightful and some of them prefered strange costumes and gowns.
The Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen was in a sexy blue sequined minidress.
She hang purple slutch and put on navy open toe high heels. I like her style. She is a very beautiful woman.
The former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham was in a sexy one-shoulder silver with black polka-dots minidress by Louis Vuitton with original black heels.
On her shoulder there was a large flower and the back was adorned with a fancy trail.
Kate Moss arrived with designer Marc Jacobs, who was ‘honorary chair’ of the party. And supermodel was co-hosting the annual Costume Institute Gala.
The 35-year-old Moss demonstrated her splendid body in an off-the-shoulder gold short dress by Marc Jacobs and matching turban-style headdress designed by milliner Stephen Jones and gold high heels with platform
