Jewelry is something we usually crave for but it is not all jewelry we like so much. For example, the metal pieces from Rebekah Frank seem horiifying to me. Only a masochistic fashionista would like to try this or a Lady GaGa fan.

The range includes necklaces, bracelets and even belts that clearly say: Look but not touch! Hazardous as they are they can be interesting additions to outfits for people with unconventional opinions and attitudes.

Claws and thorns are everywhere, you can wear these pieces to parties and be no more afraid of being attacked. Everyone will step away from you as soon as they see your accessories. Go on, our fashionable monsters!

We have already written that Alicia Keys is working on a jewelry collection. Now we have new interesting details revealed.
The pieces will be inscribed with poetry and prayers, the singer says.

The girl decided she needed to put her creativity into something else beside music. She has teamed up with the designer Gisele Theriault to make a collection of necklaces that is to become available next year.
She said:
I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me. I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration and that’s what got me started.”
Alicia’s jewelry collection will range from $85 to $2,500.
Gisele was excited about the work as the girls found a “beautiful harmony with each other”.

This post and of course the jewelry is for confident and extravagant girls!
Yong Korean designer Jung Ee Eun, who specializes in metal and art design, has created a very special collection that is nothing like those we already have on the market.
For example, a bra-necklace – funny and original. It is made of brass and plated with gold. One must be really self-assured to wear such a piece!

If the bra-necklace is too much for you try other interesting creations by the young designer. “We are real one” ring that you see down at the picture comes in the shape of a pendant. But in fact there you have two rings together, two pendants! To don it you have to switch it on/off and get two pendants: one for you and one for him!

Beer caps can be used the second time if you make a necklace or a brooch from them. Place the beer cap of your choice and you’ve got a quirky necklace to wear with your favorite clothes!

Do you like heart-shape in jewelry? I do. And I do like the melting hearts in the new Miss Sixties’ Heartz collection. They look classy and sophisticated and seem to be great with lots of outfits.
The set is perfect for the summer heat!

Earrings, necklace and bracelet cost $100 for the set: $47 for the necklace and $54 for the bracelet, $54 the earrings.

Why I single out the necklace from other jewelry trends? Because it’s so multifaceted.
Statement jewelry is back in the game.

Stones, metals, beads, massive chains and crystals are of great value for Autumn/Winter 2009-2010.
Super massive and extravagant necklaces were in John Galliano, Marc Jacobs, Thakoon and Lanvin collection.

Plenty of metals and geometrical shapes were presented in their jewelry lines. John Galliano’s Fall 2009 collection was inspired by the Tsar Russian mood.
The pendants are round and very heavy.

Winter season we’ve talked so much about recently is here with us already and it’s time to think what we should look like to be the best-looking and the most stylish ladies. You’re aware of all the trends for this season but I decided it can be helpful to tell you what exactly you should wear every winter month. I’d like to start with accessories that can make even the most terrible garment look nice.
1. Jewelry will make the finishing touches to your outfit and complete the whole image. Your bracelets, necklaces and rings should be big and massive if you want them to be noticed. Besides, they must be bright to diversify dull winter atmosphere.

Let’s talk about the upcoming bead trends for winter 2009.
Beads are cheap and polygonal way to choose and complete your own style.
You can do strings of beads by yourself or can buy them at shops, but beads can be a prompt accessory to your winter wardrobe.
