One of the swimsuits Paris has posed in resembles the sexy red piece Pamela Anderson became famous for. Paris’s version isn’t as provocative but looks glamorous.

Another item from Paris Hilton’s swimwear collection must have been inspired by an American flag. The socialite accessorized the bikini look with Sixties-style white-rimmed sunglasses and an oversized bag from her own collection.

Paris also modeled a black and white striped swimsuit which revealed a lot of her cleavage.

Pamela Anderson’s ad for PETA was a very special one. The actress was photographed in a tiny bikini and all her body was divided into separate parts, like ones a butcher divides an animal’s carcass into. The picture is funny to look at but bringing some good thoughts actually.

So, Pamela flew into Montreal yesterday to launch the PETA ad campaign but at the last minute she had to learn the required permit had been refused by local officials. This made the star really disappointed.

She said:

In a city that is known for it’s exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest. In some parts of the world women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas- is that next? I didn’t think Canada would be so puritanical.”

PETA’s senior Vice President, Dan Matthews added:

I think that city officials are looking at this lovely ad and confusing “sexy” with “sexist”.
A City spokesman informed PETA about their decision by a statement: ‘I have to inform you that we, as public officials representing a municipal government can not endorse this image of Ms. Anderson. It is not so much controversial as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women.”

The ad campaign for PETA with Pamela Anderson was due to be revealed outside of Montréal’s Place Jaques-Cartier. However, now it is going to be unveiled at Restaurant Globe Thursday morning.

On Tuesday, February 2, Pamela was going to launch her fashion line created under the collaboraton with Richie Rich. Hoping to get as much publicity as possible the Baywatch star appeared at the Miami club wearing a super-short revealing black dress and high heels.

However, her hopes were ruined as only 20 people arrived to watch the show. And what’s even funnier is that they had expected to see a comedy show as Pamela named her fashion presentation A*Muse show.

The event was widely advertised and ticket for it costed just $25. But the low price didn’t encourage people to visit the show of the Playboy star.

The new Fall/Winter 2009/2010 ad campaign is extraordinary again, though one thing has been quite predictable – the participation of Pamela Anderson. This is the second season already that the Playboy covergirl has graced the campaign.

The Gold Label campaign features Pamela alongside the grande dame of punk, together with Westwood’s husband, Andreas Kronthaler. The photo shoot is playful with all the three frolicing and grimacing.

At one of the pictures Andreas is dragging Pamela along the ground by a swathe of satin. His wife’s standing watching what’s happening with obvious disapproval. The trio are wearing tartan and stripes, so much loved by the designer.

Though the word “clothing” can hardly be referred to her she has teamed up with a couturier Richie Rich for a line of environmentally-friendly fashion.

Pamela says:

I really don’t like to wear clothes. I would rather go naked. But I love Richie’s designs, so I agreed to be part of Muse.”

The line will feature shoes and casual clothes, including hooded tops, skirts and swimwear for the new Muse brand. Since Mrs. Anderson is very nature-conscious no fur or leather will be integrated into the new designs.

The collaboration between the actress and Richie Rich is something we could have expected long time ago since they know each other very well and have been working together forever.

Richie Rich even designed a wedding dress for Pamela when she decided to start a new life with Kid Rock.

No one except for Pamela Anderson could become the one to work this collection out. As the couturier says:

Pam is an outdoorsy and summer kind of girl who I have been friends with forever. We share the same wild and crazy aesthetic. And she has long been my inspiration. Even though Pam prefers not to wear clothes, she looks great in sexy dresses. She reminds me of Marilyn Monroe and Brigette Bardot.”

Pamela Anderson’s ad campaign for Vivienne Westwood Spring Summer 2009 is finally out! Pamela Anderson signed a six-figure deal with Vivienne Westwood last November.

The main cast is: Pamela Anderson, Vivienne Westwood and her husband Andreas Kronthaler. They look like having a holiday.

The style of Vivienne Westwood’s collection resembles 1960s hippy style. The ad campaign photos look sunny, funny and relaxing.

The show was focused on Westwood’s Gold Label collection called “Chaos Point.” The collection is created to remind people about the impending global ecological crisis.

Westwood wrote a story named ‘Active Resistance Against Propaganda’ that tells about the lady’s views concerning this problem.

The story is about a group of soldiers who discover the miracle of life, while living in a jungle.

Their visions of life change and they take up the crusade, becoming freedom fighters, whose main goal is to tell people that every person can change the world.

The evening was a charitable campaign. All the proceeds went to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.

Before creating the collection Westwood had read her story to a class of schoolchildren who were then asked to paint their visions of the story. The result of that were the images that became a part of designer’s Gold Label collection.

My amazing greatest concern, more than anything that affects me in my life today, is the problem that we have to save the planet. So this is about the rain forest, and I went to the rain forest anyway. One day maybe I would like to take some of these children there, but we have to save it. If we don’t we won’t save the planet and it would be a mass disaster” said Vivienne Westwood.

I attended that show personally and have to admit I wasn’t able to grasp the full idea of the collection. Yes, it is interesting, but at the same time it looks bizarre: those painted faces, torn pantyhose, men wearing skirts and rosy boots… Well, probably I couldn’t switch on my imagination to understand all that…
