Yesterday night (December 9) the British Fashion Awards 2009 were held at the royal Courts of Justice. The ceremony that marked the finale to the British Fashion Council’s 25th anniversary celebrations was sponsored by Swarovski.

The event was wholly dedicated to fashion and those people who have contributed to its development within the last 25 years. Over 500 people arrived including industry leaders, celebrities, designers, retailers, models and journalists.

Lots of celebrity women appeared on the red carpet wearing sumptuous outfits. Singer-turned designer Victoria Beckham wore one of her own creations – a floor-sweeping silk crepe Eighties-style gown with crystal embroidery on the shoulderpads. She looked gorgeous as always.

The Bristish supermodel Kate Moss opted for a similar-to-Posh’s dress – a sheer black Flamenco-style tiered dress with a super-long train. To cover her dignity a bit Kate donned a black blazer. Beautiful!

Bond-girl Olga Kurylenko looked stunning in a short black dress and a bolero, which she paired with black suede pumps and a clutch.

Designer Myleene Klass looked absolutely fabulous in a black frock with sheer sleves and a pair of perfect red shoes.

The other two girls in black were Eva Herzigova and Daisy Lowe who both rocked wonderful long gowns with cutaways and long splits.

Rising star in modelling business Amber le Bon sported a black mini and a blazer together with a pair of grey pumps and a white bag.

Blonde singer Christina Aguilera, 28, was in a pirate costume! Dangerous and strict one-eyed Captain Flint or a skeleton???

The costume reminded of the mix of these two characters.

Her son Max, 9 months old, was dressed as a skeleton too.

Sexy cowgirl Jesse from Toy Story 2 Gwen Stefani came to the Halloween party in Los Angeles on  Saturday October 31,  with her hubby and two sons, Kingston and Zuma, who were in  costumes of dinosaurs.

Gavin Rossdale, her hubby, didn’t dress in any costume.

Glamour magazine was launched in the UK in April 2001, where it pioneered the “handbag size” format, with the tagline “fits in your life as well as your handbag”.

Each June, Glamour organizes the Glamour Women of the Year Awards which recognise women in the public eye.

There are a lot of popular British celebrities to come and honor the winners!

The UK Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2009 were held June 2 2009 in Berkeley Square Gardens, London.

Guests included Alexa Chung, Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Pixie Geldof, Henry Holland, Jacquetta Wheeler, singer Adele, Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton, Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick and others.

And of course, we expected many beautiful dresses and styles. But unfortunally, there were not a lot of stylish women present. They were named Glamour women but not all looked glam enough for the title.

Ok, let’s see what fashion was presented at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2009 redcarpet.

Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue received the major honours at the glitzy ceremony in London.

The I Kissed A Girl singer picked up the Newcomer of The Year prize.

Katy Perry was in a hot silk blue strapless mini dress with a big bow on the waist, multi-strap red high heel sandals and red clutch. As usual, she had great make up and haistyle.

She was one of the most beautiful women at the party.

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue claimed two trophies - Entrepreneur of the Year and Woman of The Year.

She arrived in a short monochrome with attitude dress and leopard print cloak. She accessoried her view with gold box-clitch, gold heels and large oval pendant necklace.

Vogue presents its various covers of worlwide issues for March 2009.

Photographer Greg Kadel shows us the old west in Vogue Germany March 2009 issue, where the landscape is untamed and visually fab.

Model Toni Garrn who graces the cover also had the main role in the photoshoot.

She was on the cover of German Vogue issue in August 2008. Gorgeous and very womanlike, wearing outfits from Chanel collection, like she does on the new one.

The Elle Style Awards 2009 were held at Big Sky Studios in London, England on Monday (February 9). There were a lot of glamourous socialites attending the event.

But as for me, some of gowns were crazy and unstylish.

Burberry creative director Christopher Kane received the award for best fashion designer. Peter Pilatto was first-rated as the upcoming hope.

Although fashion designer Matthew Williamson acclaimed ex model Twiggy to be called style icon, this adulator title went to Sienna Miller after all. Joanna Page collected Gavin & Stacey’s Best TV Series Award

Alexa Chung, who hosed the show was in a teal-blue, short, fitted backless Chanel dress, which looked extremely urbane.

She put on a huge cocktail ring by Mawi, Luella heels and had an upswept hairdo.

“I don’t look too mumsy, do I,” she worried. No way, Alexa.

The 24-year-old Indian actress and model Freida Pinto was honored with Elle’s Best Actress award.

She wore an offbeat Chanel short black dress with a transparent PVC yoke adorned with silk camellias.

Courtney Love was named Woman of the Year.

Her black fishtail gown with jet and black sequins was by Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy.

Roisin Murphy also put on the Givenchy, teaming her mirror-beaded top with a pair of Armand Basi grey harem pants.

Agent Provocateur model for S/S 2009 ad campaign Pixie Geldof, who made the cover of Italian Vogue, was in a backless LWD by Alexander Wang.

Agent Provocateur presents new line of sexy lingerie named ‘Virgins’ featuring beautiful models: Pixie Geldof, Portia Freeman, Chloe Hayward, Sophia P.

The main face of ads is Pixie Geldof. She follows in the steps of her sister Peaches Geldof who was photographed in the other Agent Provocateur ad.

Pixie Geldof, who recently turned 18, took time out from her A Level studies to pose in a lacy white corset, pearls and the perspex stilettos.

She was dressed as a ‘virgin – rosebud of lip and sweet to taste’ by the underwear company for its spring/summer 2009 line.

In other pictures she poses in black garters and knickers and in a white riding waistcoat.

A whole host of stylish celebrities turned up for the launch of Chanel’s Mobile Art pavilion in Central Park, New York on October 21.

Pixie Geldof represented the United Kingdom at the fascinating event and partied close to the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Bosworth and the man himself, Karl Lagerfeld.

She wore pink chequered warm scarf that was perfect to pair her pink skirt and red hair.

Keira Knightley took grey scarf at new movie Last Night with Guillaume Canet in Soho, New York on October 20.

She was quite cute as a button when she grins and laughs.

Last Night opens in theaters in 2009.

Coleen Rooney was so happy and smiling much in her on-trend Louis Vuitton print scarf as she enjoyed a night out at Nobu Berkeley in London on October 20.

Shenae Grimes was busy glaring at the Vanity Fair Portraits on October 21: Photographs 1913-2008 Exhibit Grand Opening.

The beauty was turning heads left and right in an outfit consisting of a white button-up shirt with a white scarf teamed with a black high-waisted skirt, black socks, and black lace-up boots.

Shenae Grimes lately finished a made-for-television movie called The Cross Road. this is her first film role since landing her 90210 work.

In this movie she plays a teen girl who falls in love with a Syrian boy in a paranoid, post-911 town.

Kate Walsh, 41, was doing some antique shopping in Los Angeles October 20. The Private Practice actress kept it flippant in a light grey scarf, a blue screen printed t-shirt, distressed jeans, and a pair of black flats.

Taking a break from work, Natalie Portman made the most of her stoppage by paying a visit to the Picasso exhibition at the Grand Palais museum in Paris on Monday October 20. She wore dark scarf and navy blue coat.

Paris Hilton was shopping in London’s Notting Hill district on October 20. She wore funny black-and-white scarf with skulls.
