Prada is a recognized classic. The pieces the brand creates are always chic and sophisticated and what is even better they look great on women of different ages.

The collection for Autumn/ Winter 2010/ 2011 unveiled during Milan Fashion Weeks features beautiful items that would be perfect for various occasions. Dresses are luxurious and glamorous as well as trenches and coats.

Collection is obviously inspired by last-century fashion tendencies that are presented with a modern twist. Miuccia Prada says it’s classics that she was aiming at.
She said:
It’s normal clothes. Classics. Revising the things I did in the nineties.”
Ruffles, high waists, wide skirts, upstanding pointy-bra formations and other details in the range remind us that retro fashion is always a win. Hair done up in sixties beehives just add to the feeling of being trapped in the chic of the past.

The group of models strutting the runway included big names in modelling, such as Doutzen Kroes, Catherine McNeil, Lara Stone, and Miranda Kerr – young women who embody femininity and beauty.

Every glam event is a chance to show off oneself and often our stars use this rare opportunity to attract attention. The Oscar ceremony is one of the most expected, not only because we all want to know which films are considered the best but also to see what most glamorous women wear to it.
It is a common fact that to stand out at the Oscars is always a very difficult thing. But some women know very well how to do it. And one of these is definitely Jennifer Lopez. The singer appeared on the red carpet wearing a sumptuous strapless gown by Armani Prive.

By the way, Armani creations were extremely popular. Amanda Seyfried also wore a dress by this designer and looked absolutely gorgeous.

Vera Farmiga chose a more colorful dress from Marchesa, a real red-carpet label. The actress looked perfect.

Anna Kendrick was the embodiment of youth and chic as she wore a gorgeous Elie Saab gown to the event.

Sandra Bullock, who was named the Best Actress, sported a fabulous Marchesa frock. She opted for a silver clutch to match her outfit.

Prada is always associated with luxury and sophistication and the label does really make things that are chic and fabulous. But something must have happened with the stylist as the new Spring-Summer 2010 ad campaign focuses more on bright orange lipstick and green sunglasses rather than clothes and accessories created by the brand’s designers.

Rasa Zukauskaite, a young and little known Lithuanian model, was chosen to represent the label this coming fashion season.

The girl is very pretty and her appeal makes the ad look nice. Some glamour is added by clothing and handbags but anyway attention is attracted to the face, something that shouldn’t be too much important in an ad like this.

Kristin Davis likes Prada more than any other brand.

The ‘Sex and the City‘ actress says she has lots of Prada pieces already and never gets tired or economizes on buying new ones.
She commented:
I am a Prada-holic. Whenever I’m in Manhattan, I can walk into Prada and buy 10 outfits. I especially love their bags.”
10 outfits at a time, so how many do you have already, Kristin?

Taylor Swift is a girl I would talk hours about. She is beautiful and fashion-conscious, very creative and talented. I could say a lot more but she will do it better herself.

Taylor is a covergirl for this Sunday’s T: The New York Times Style Magazine. She is featured on a few glam photos and looks really wonderful.
She wears couture clothing, including a Chanel dress, a metallic Burberry Prorsum jacket, a Prada Swarovsli crystal top and other outfits form best fashion names.

Besides, the songbird gives an extensive interview about her life and songs. Speaking to T’s editor Lynn Hirschberg the singer reveals lots of facts we haven’t known about her.

Taylors tells about being an outisder at school and her double life as a result of this:
I would sit on the edge of class and watch people interact with each other. I’d watch guys flirt with cool girls and I would watch best friends talk, and I would go home and write about it. If you listen to my albums, it’s like reading my diary.”

You already know that Prada has launched a fashion book that illustrates the development of the brand and fashion as a whole within a period of over 30 years.
The party dedicated to the book was organised a few days ago (November, 13 ). Lots of A-list celebrities attended it and as usual women tried to see each other but better to show off themselves.
Here you can see the most glamorous outfits ladies wore to the event.
See and enjoy!

I think these two girls deserve to be the first on my list, not because they were the best-looking but because they really stole the attention.
They are Chloe Sevigny and Zoe Saldana.
Both chose Miu Miu dresses from Fall-Winter 2009/2010 collection with deep decolletes that exposed their lingerie and midriffs.
Zoe looked bright and bold while Chloe was more feminine with her light-pink sequin dress.

Christina Ricci and Ginnifer Goodwin opted for prom-style frocks made of satin and embellished with corsages.
Christina looked delicate and sophisticated in her light blue dress paired with fabulous stilettoes and a black clutch.
Ginnifer was the cutest at the party in her white dress, dark-purple open-toe shoes and a black clutch.

Jessica Alba worn a dark-blue velvet dress with a V-neck and looked perfectly slim.
Jessica Biel was in a black Twenties-inspired dress from Prada’s pre-fall collection decorated with fringing and pearls. The woman looked fresh and happy as if she had been on a long vacation.

Prada is a whole epoch of luxury and sophistication. Fashionistas are ready to give almost everything for a piece from the renowned brand. But Prada is also a fashion development, constant work of invention. This idea is clearly embodied in the book by Patrizio Bertelli and Miuccia Prada.

The 706-page tome tells about 30 years of innovations and experiments in fashion, art, architecture, cinema and communications.
For Prada, fashion, luxury and style go beyond producing an infinity of clothes and shoes, so the book wants to illustrate the various aspects through which Prada expresses itself,” said Bertelli, chief executive officer of Prada Group.
The book is aptly named “Prada” and is published by Prada Progetto Arte. The price for that is 100 euros ($150). You can find it in Prada stores worldwide, in select bookstores and on prada.com.

When I saw the collection by Prada for Fall 2009/Winter
2010 I was a little bit disappointed.
The style of the show was unusual and when I looked at the clothes and
models I thought I didn’t want to wear those outfits.

It’s just my personal opinion though. Let’s see what Steven Meisel for Prada A/W 2009-2010 can show us this coming season, whith such models as Julia Hafstrom, Ymre Stiekema, Kendra Spears, Katlin Aas and Anna de Rijk posing for the colelction.

Models have dishevelled hairstyles and dark makeup.
