In the interview for Marie Claire March 2012 issue Eva Mendes talks about Ryan Gosling she is currently dating, her body image and dreaming about having Julianna Moore’s career.

So, let’s start – TOP 6 SHOE COLLECTIONS FOR SPRING/ SUMMER 2012:

I would start from Chirstian Louboutin shoes. They are the best for me. I know you would say it is banal but these shoes are really special. Yes, they aren’t very comfortable, and those heels are often hard to walk in but they are worth the pain we suffer. The designer was right. Gaetano Perrone has released just one collection under his own name but it has already found its fans. It is not surprising at all considering the fact he has been creating footwear for Alexander McQueen for a few years. His shoes are spectacular – extravagant but incredibly beautiful in design they will soon appear on the red carpet as often as shoes of other exclusive brands. I was impressed with Nicholas Kirkwood’s first footwear collection and immediately remembered the name of a young but very talented designer. D&G Spring/ Summer 2012 collection seems a little out-of-place here due to the fact it is casual and shoes presented in it are far from being cute or elegant but don’t we all from time to time turn to comfier styles – flats, wedges, even sneakers? Well, Prada Spring 2012 campaign is one of the few campaigns released this season which I really liked. It’s beautiful, stylish and totally glamorous. And girls walking here and there around a gas station are absolutely gorgeous.

Inspired by fashion of the glamorous ‘50s Prada Spring ad campaign tries to return us to that era when girls looked polished, their makeup was smart and neat, and clothing was feminine and elegant. 6 modern beauties (Natasha Poly, Ymre Stiekema, Katryn Kruger, Meghan Collison, Elise Crombez, and Guinevere van Seenus) starred in the shoot and they looked like they really belonged there.

• new trend with designer jeans in celebrities magazine ad

I love prints, especially florals. The more the better. So, it’s not surprising that Printed Maiden photoshoot from Elle Greece February 2012 issue starring Natalia Zakharova looked so appealing to me.

Photographed by Dimitris Skoulos for Elle Greece the model looks amazing in all the outfits she wears for the shoot. And she wears quite a lot. As far as I can recognize the designer pieces Natalia is dressed in Mary Katrantzou trouse suit, D&G and Pucci maxi dresses, Blumarine lovely mini finished with flip flops and a cap from the same collection, leather pencil skirt with a car pattern by Prada, Iceberg and Dsquared2 pieces, and Missoni swimsuit.

My favorite photo is the one with Natalia Zakharova posing in Blumarine short dress printed with blue flowers. The model is laughing and looks really great.

I would like to start from Emma Stone who has become one of my favorite actresses. She really deserves every award she receives and she always looks fabulous on the red carpet. At the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards she wasn’t honored but The Help movie she starred in was hugely praised. Emma wore an emerald green Jason Wu gown to the event.

Kirsten Dunst opted for a chic black dress from Christian Dior Spring/ Summer 2012 collection. She looked amazing.

Elle Fanning also was in attendance. She wore a floral-printed Rodarte gown to the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.

Black color was a hit at the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Evan Rachel Wood went for a black floor-length dress by Valentino which she teamed with shoes and a clutch from the same brand.

Young starlet Chloe Moretz turned heads with her chic Chanel dress.

Elizabeth Olsen appeared at the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in a bright yellow Emilio Pucci dress which looked wonderful on her figure.

Charlize Theron wore a luxurious black Alaia gown to the ceremony. Bulgari accessories complemented her look nicely.

Dianne Kruger looked lovely at the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in a long Prada dress. I think she is one of those celebrities who always looks good on the red carpet.

Michelle Williams, who was lucky to play gorgeous star of the past Marilyn Monroe, looked spectacular in a black-and-white dress by Chanel.

Vogue UK February 2012 is a very summery issue! It features model Arizona Muse posing in amazing bright dresses from designer Spring/ Summer 2012 collections. Her makeup is bright too but not as amazing. As for hair, it completes the looks ideally.

Photographed by Patrick Demarchelier Arizona Muse looks great on the pictures. She smiles and happily poses under warm sun rays. She wears Louis Vuitton, YSL, Preen, Chloe, Prada, Nina Ricci and other designers’ creations.

Arizona Muse also wears tons of accessories. Jewelry is funky, bold and colorful. It isn’t made of extremely expensive crystals or stones. Instead, plastic, wooden and metallic pieces were used.

A couple of bags come from Prada and Miu Miu Spring/ Summer 2012 collections. Bold unusual prints make the looks even more eye-catching.

She is only 17 but has already achieved a lot. However, this doesn’t seem to have affected her perceptions in any way. Dakota Fanning, who covers the UK edition of Elle (February 2012 one), just doesn’t let the outer world get into her inner one. She is confident enough to understand who she is and what she wants (something many people don’t understand even in their 40s) and she is open enough to let us know that.

Dakota Fanning, who also covers the February 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan, looks very feminine and cute posing for both the front page and the inside pictorial of Elle magazine. In the interview for Elle February 2012 Dakota Fanning speaks a lot about herself and sister Elle, acting and being famous as well as her attitude to physical appearances topic.

Dakota Fanning on being 17 years old: “I feel like I’ve lived a long time, but then I realize, ‘Oh, I’m actually only 17.’ I don’t think there should be an age limit on an interest, do you know what I mean?”

Dakota Fanning on her dislike of attention to everything outside of her acting: “I just want to be an actress. I don’t really do anything attention-grabbing. Famous just sounds so pretentious. Who am I to call myself that word?”

Dakota Fanning on all talks about her physical appearance: “People are always talking about this person who looks great and that person who doesn’t. It’s there, if you let it in. I let it in to an extent. I just don’t let it affect the choices I make.”

Dakota Fanning on her younger sister Elle: “She is incredibly free-spirited and totally wears her heart on her sleeve, you know exactly what she is thinking by taking one look at her. She’s just incredibly… I don’t know, I wish I could be more like her sometimes.”

If I were asked to describe Prada shoe collection for Spring/ Summer 2012 fashion season I would say ‘impetuosity’ and ‘brightness’. The entire collection includes elements which remind us of incredible speed and adrenaline rush that one experiences while riding on such speed.

Prada shoe collection for Spring/ Summer 2012 is very diverse. You can find heeled shoes, wedges, sandals, and even flip flops. All are made in patent or snakeskin leather.

The color scheme of Prada shoe collection for Spring/ Summer 2012 is varied. There are bright red, orange and yellow pieces as well as pale blue, nude and white. But only few pairs come monotone. All the others feature combination of different hues.

This Prada ad caused controversy from the beginning, from that very moment we learned the 14-year-old actress Hailee Steinfeld was to star in it. And now, after it had been featured in a number of fashion magazines, the ad was banned for being ‘irresponsible’. The problem is that the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) considers photographing a teenage girl sitting alone and crying on a railway track suggestive of youth suicide.

You might find nothing unsafe for you in this ad but there are people who really believe it is unreasonable to show such images.

Prada defended their ad explaining the images were part of a ‘serious, high-fashion campaign aimed at adult women’. They also mentioned the ad was addressed to adult women who could find it in reputable fashion magazines such as Tatler only.

Besides, the brand said the photoshoot was done on an abandoned rail track and Hailee was neither crying nor upset.

It is not the first and probably not the last ad banned for being too risky in all meanings of this word. The most recent was Marc Jacobs’ perfume ad with Dakota Fanning, who was featured sitting in a short dress with her legs parted and a bottle of fragrance between them.

It’s time for Resort 2012 ad campaigns to pour out! New Fendi girl Natasha Poly was photographed by multitalented designer Karl Lagerfeld. The model posed in the bright yellow background leaning against or embracing a nude statue. The beauty looked fresh and stylish in brand’s clothing. The outfit that comprises a white dress and a pair of strappy sandals was the most attractive.

Gucci Resort 2012 campaign featuring two models – a male and a female – was much softer and pleasant to the eye. The couple was photographed near a white wall with a plant with bright purple leaves. Garments both monotone and with stripy or zebra prints were vivid and interesting.

Donna Karan has released just one pic so far and it features gorgeous Karlie Kloss in a mesmerizing red dress posing in three different ways.

The last to mention here is Prada Resort 2012 ad campaign. Shot by Steven Meisel Prada girl Lea Seydoux looked amazing wearing sexy lacy dresses. Each image pictured her with delicate flower necklaces and bracelets as well with one or numerous clutch bags in her hands.
