Young and sexy OC actress and Edie Rose model for DNKY Rachel Bilson is looking so perfect in the November issue of InStyle UK.

Inside the issue, the young star opens up about all things from her recent role as maid of honor for her best friend’s wedding, her boyfriend to her thoughts on Victoria Beckham.

Rachel on being a star:

I hate the attention, which is sort of funny as I’m an actress.”

Rachel on her style:

I don’t usually wear expensive things…its crazy your like $1,400 for shoes? I wait for the sale.”

Rachel on Victoria Beckham:

I respect anyone who really does her own thing. It takes a lot of energy and skill to pull that off. And I love that she doesn’t give a f*ck!”

Rachel on meeting Karl Lagerfeld:

It was so surreal, like meeting the pope or the president or a cartoon. He’s fantastic.”

Rachel on being Maid of Honour for her best friend:

You don’t understand. I’m freaking out. The groom is a writer! I have to be funny!”

Rachel on marriage and children:

I don’t need to get married right now. I’m more ready for a baby than marriage, not really tomorrow but definitely in the next couple of years, which is the pretty near future. You have to have the guy, you know.”

Rachel on her character Summer Roberts in the OC:

I wasn’t supposed to be anything really, they just decided I was funny.”

Rachel on Hayden Christen:

Hayden is a guy’s guy. Tractors and such. I’m learning to play chess. A certain someone happens to be very good and I don’t think I will ever accomplish beating that person. But that is the goal.”

Rachel on dating actors:

You can’t help it, they’re who you surround your self with.”

Popular Rachel Bilson, Ali Larter and Diane Lane show you can be super hot at any age in the October 2008 cover of Glamour magazine.

Rachel, 27, Ali, 32, and Diane, 43, are the three cover persons from three different decades showing three ways to love the skin you’re in now. Here a snippet of Rachel Bilson’s  interview, where she’s asked about her “H” necklace:

Let’s talk about the presidential election. It’s interesting, the way that young people seem captivated in a way they haven’t been in a while. Thank God! It’s very exciting. I’m really happy that there’s so much heat around this election, because there needs to be. Right now, we need a change. I campaigned for Kerry [four years ago], and I supported Hillary.

What was it about her? Did you feel drawn to her because she’s a woman? Well, I definitely like that idea. I mean, there’s nothing more empowering than to know that I was alive to see [the possibility of] the first woman president. I think our country needs that femininity, you know? Still, I hope Obama wins.

And what’s next for you? You seem to be between acting gigs right now. Does the world feel wide open? Definitely. I’d love to do a musical. I’d love to do comedies…. I know what I want to do, but it’s just not as detailed as I’d probably like it to be.

I have a few dating questions, even though I can tell you’re going to scrunch up your nose. Whose initial is that hanging around your neck, which you very cleverly tucked inside your dress? Well, I’ ll let you make your own assumption.

It’s an H. It is an H. And I’m going to turn red!

The 2008 Teen Choice Awards took over Universal City this Sunday (3 August 2008) with young Miley Cyrus as the host. It was blue carpet and many celebrities. Celebrities wore bright colors, light dresses and it was summer mood everywhere.

And the outfit was better than could have been imagined, with participants and spectators including everyone from Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Lauren Conrad, Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson and the Beckhams.

Blake Lively was awesome at Teen Choice Awards 2008. She wore a purple one-shoulder ruched dress with a big belt and sexy pumps.  Her key was unique diamond specked rock on her hand.

Brittany Snow is a Teen Queen! She looks lovely in her mini floral print strapless dress. Thanks to those hot red pumps, her look really pops. I never noticed how blue her eyes are; the blue flowers in her frock brighten them. It’s all working for my girl here, even that white cocktail ring. Does it work for you, too?

Lauren Conrad’s multi-colored chiffon maxi. It looks to be from an up and coming collection from her own line, goes perfectly with her braided hair. She smartly cinched in the voluminous dress with a skinny brown belt to give herself some shape. What a nice girl!

Kim Kardashian is nominated for two awards this year: Choice TV: Celebrity Reality and Choice TV: Female Reality/Variety Star. In the category of reality star, she’s up against Dancing with the Stars’s Kristi Yamaguchi, America’s Next Top Model’s Whitney Thompson and The Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

A younger generation of buyers is reluctant to buy Levi Strauss, Wrangler and Lee and prefers jeans collections of celebs-turned-designers like Victoria Beckham, P Diddy, Rachel Bilson, and others.

Though being on market since 1870 and becoming the must-have denims in the 1980s, the Levi Strauss Company is looking old-fashioned losing a massive part of its costumers to celebrity designer brands. Classic cowboy labels such as Wrangler and Lee are struggling to hold their own in the market too.

In 2008 denim is more likely to be found on the red carpet than at the coalface. Sales of Victoria Beckham’s line for Rock and Republic are reported to be strong.

The OC actress Rachel Bilson is presently co-designing a collection of jeans for DKNY, rapper LL Cool J will launch his denim line this fall to meet another rapper P Diddy on the market.

Meanwhile, boosted by celebrity support, newer premium jeans labels such as Citizens of Humanity, J Brand, 7 For All Mankind and Paper Denim and Cloth are becoming really popular. Nicole Richie, Jessica Alba and Kate Moss are rarely seen out of their J Brand jeans, and the company has just launched a new collection aimed at curvier women.

If brands are really popular with one generation, then the next won’t want to wear them. Kids just don’t want to wear the same jeans as their dads.” said David Pyne, UK manager for Tommy Hilfiger.

Many of the older brands are not as well fitted to the body as other newer ones. Girls want their bum lifted, their stomach flatter, their thighs thinner, and with the new advances in denim, the jeans feel and look better on the body than old-school styles,” added Aimee Brown, denim buyer for Selfridges department stores.

On the other hand, Levi Strauss, famous for its ad campaigns, is said to be launching a new campaign this fall.

1. White colors

Whites are the color of the season for both clothing and accessories. Wear them on their own or along with other colors to look cool, chic, and gorgeous.

Rachel Bilson shows us the layered scarf look with multi-tonal colours to help add a little something to an all-black outfit. Keep the length short and overlap twice to achieve this look.

Ashlee Simpson in black and white silk scarf. Black and white doesn’t have to be boring. Add a silk scarf and drape it straight down your shoulders to achieve that casual yet funky rock-chick look. Make sure the length of the scarf ends at the base of your hips or you may risk having it drag your outfit down.

Fashion icon, Kate Moss, shows us how to do the featherweight scarf with style and class. Using a medium length silk scarf, wrap around the neck then tie in a knot (like a bow tie but longer) and fluff out the sides to achieve this coiffured yet refined boho look.

Think Justin Timberlake is the one to do high-profile ad campaigns now? The O.C. star Rachel Bilson stars in the ad campaign for her own clothing label, Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans. Alongside Rachel, the ad will also feature models Fabienne Vanderhaeghen, Regina Feoktistova and Giedre Dukaskaitein. Photographed by Mikael Jansson against a New York backdrop, the fashion line will launch in back-to-school time.

The ad campaign will run in the September and October issues of Teen Vogue and Cosmogirl magazines to coincide with the launch of Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans line in September. Look forward to a trendy sportswear collection consisting of tops, sweaters, jackets, tees, dresses, and jeans to be sold at department stores including Macy’s and Dillard’s.

The 15-piece sportswear line comprises of button-down tops, sweaters, jackets, T-shirts, dresses and straight leg and skinny leg jeans in a dark wash. The collection will be sold at Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom and the like.

The creative director of the shoot, Trey Laird said

She was really hands-on with the entire process. She, with the help of stylist Tabitha Simmons, made the clothes come to life in such a youthful, authentic way, which is so true to Rachel’s own personal style — always youthful, but appropriate”

Bilson has decided to put her acting career on hold to be fully involved in her designs. She said,

This line is my main focus right now,  I can’t draw at all, so I won’t be doing any sketches, but I am learning to sew. I think it’s important to know more about the whole process of making clothes”
